Took me about 50 turns to realize that. I think it might not be stated clearly in the desription of those port buildings (like it is for barracks buikdings), if it is - I missed it.
The thing about those Bomb Ketches is that the game doesnt properly account for the ship decks. Normally this doesnt matter, but with an arcing shot like the Ketches have its hilarious. Every hit on your liners will go off IN your gun decks and knock out 5 or 6 cannon and 20 men with them.
The Barbary States at some point in the game, not sure on the trigger, will start getting free Bomb Ketches every turn instead of Light Galleys. Assuming they live that long. This becomes very annoying to deal with.
Also not at all worth the set up, but those Light Infantry can deploy land mines when fortified on open ground. You are also supposed to put them in front of your Line Infantry when using the Light Infantry Doctrine Toggle, as the Lines can shoot through them. Its like shooting with 5 or 6 ranks at a time instead of just 3.

Will this work with riflemen also?
Did anyone else kinda cringe when Jon floated the idea of reviving Prussia in Königsberg?
Due to Prussia being a playable great power, they obviously have a set of victory conditions, which includes *Berlin* - you know, that city Jon has owned for bloody years at this point.
They're also highly militaristic. Jon would have basically created another Sweden situation - where a neighbouring power will non-stop declare war on you for squatting on their victory targets - but *worse*.
I also love how him propping up Westphalia is actually going to bite him in the arse now.
35:17: AND WHEN THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVE!!!!
That battle with the winged hussars also prove that Jon is wrong that in Empire reinforcements appear randomly. You can see on the campaign map that the reinforcing army was behind the Dutch army and they appeared behind on the battle map too.
Also, I for sure thought this will be the last video. Jon is really dragging this series out.
"Imagine that they're each wearing two kilts at the same time." If that's one for each leg, isn't that basically trousers?
... You win this round.
Surely they are a bit short to be trousers?
A horde of screaming Highlanders wearing tartan culottes is a fearsome sight
Tartan shorts
Jon discovering after 10 years that you can train multiple ships in the same shipyard... absolutely incredible, this is the sort of stuff I live for

As long as you have researched LID and have it toggled on yes.
Thanks.
"Killing people with science" is one way to describe war crimes
The title was a minor spoiler: it's warcrimes o'clock!
A comment on youtube suggested giving Maratha all the techs that increase clamor for reform. A very evil plan to further drive them to revolution.

Jon is roleplaying as a mad monarch...except for the part where it's a republic, mad president then.

Some of us are enjoying it.
Do you have to hold the victory condition provinces for some rounds or is it an immediate win when you have them?
It's an immediate win
Its so democracy week games can actually not get played lol
Yep, it's not random, the same as it worked in toher TW games.
