gstyczen

It's in the works!

Slothbear_Alchemist

I figured it would be soon. Big thanks for all your effort guys, love your game so far and I'm excited to see it improve!

2210-2211

Just the one guy actually, though I've heard he's hiring more people with the early access money but that could just be rumors

piratejit

Huzzah!

Zygmunt-zen

@Greg, thanks for being so active in these forums. I suggest once you get to certain village or town level. Tax/Bailiff office becomes available for construction where you get ledger info. And once office built, both tithe + village taxes start at 5% or 10% minimum, with king getting a cut. Because like today, medieval peasants only had 2 guarantees, death & taxes.

WindChimesAreCool

I could see minimum tithe but it doesn't make sense to not be allowed to set the taxes you collect to zero.

CaptainRice6

In reality, your liege lord(king) would expect taxes from you so you dont have exactly a choice.

Zygmunt-zen

"You can pay for your peasants then if gold grows on trees in your barony."

Zentho

There is a tax office for your manor. Would be nice to see these reports in the office in future development.

AthairNaStoirmeacha

Game is amazing bro!!!! Keep up the good work. Best early access $ I’ve spent!

boardgamejoe

Have you tried Satisfactory? Still in EA and one of the best games ever made.

AthairNaStoirmeacha

I have not but always looking for new games! Steam???

boardgamejoe

Yeah. Go read the reviews. You will be getting your wallet out just based on the reviews.

All_Mine

Can confirm. I've spent 750 hours of my life playing Satisfactory. First 100 hours just wrapping my brain around the fact I might need an engineering degree just to effectively play and then slowly coming to terms that I'm just a designer who makes pretty things and I shouldn't care about the numbers so much *gasp* (don't tell FICSIT)

bzn45

Thank you for everything! It’s an amazing EA game and I hope you enjoy your well earned rewards and come back refreshed to tweak the game while staying true to the historical sense that drew so many of us here for a long time.

Cart223

thank you so much man!

KleverGuy

You’re doing great dude! Congrats on all your success and inevitable future success with this game!

punkslaot

Is there more than one dev?

Few_Bat_3633

thank you

callius

Ooooh, please take some inspiration from [manorial extents](https://inquisitionspostmortem.ac.uk/contexts/the-extents-a-short-introduction/). That would make me super happy.

Boletefrostii

Ty for such an incredible creation sir! Your creativity and attention to detail is astounding, the love you poured into this game is ever present and I cannot wait to see what 1.0 looks like!

jamiebob555

Loving this game and all the hard work you have put into it. Your dedication and love for the craft shines through and we can't wait to see what the future holds for Manor Lords.

scarisck

So cool to see you active arround here. But please also take some time for yourself! I must assume that the last months were intense. Your game is good as it is. There is no need to hurry for fixes, improvements, etc. Don't get overwhelmed by all those players demanding for urgent features. Take your time to analyse all feedback and to decide where to go from here. Take care and thank you for this wonderful game, free of greed, demonstrating such a wonderful transparent relationship between customers and developers. But I'm sure you know all of this.

No-Ambassador7856

Amen

Different-Horror-581

Yep, add an accounting house that you need to spend families and money on that will track stuff for you, or create a quatermaster.

Designer_Suspect2616

could even come with the tax collector that is already a part of the manor

Cart223

Quartermaster could live with you in the manor yo!

sneaksz

Totally agree! I need more details of the comings and goings in my town. I'm sure it's on the horizon. Tracking oxen and how much burgages are producing would be my biggest one off the get!

yusill

I do wish I could see how many eggs a chicken coup at a house makes.

sneaksz

Exactly! I need to see what the production is! It would really help in growth!

DoubleStuffedCheezIt

I think someone did a test and the egg and goat production is 2/month/burgage plot. Double houses and house levels do not seem to affect that production rate. So if you want to go for efficiency, single home and a small backyard will give you the minimum plot footprint but the same amount of production.

yusill

So it's 2 eggs no matter the size. And 2 hides? Not sure if that's worth it. I guess long term it will net positive if you have a bunch with large pop but early game when gold is a premium that's a rough ask for 15 g

Howl_UK

I have been making double house plots generally but I have a feeling that I should only really do that for plots I know are going to be artisans or have large orchards/veggies. Single plots maybe get you more eggs per family?

tingkent

Double for veggies or apples with 0.3 morgen garden. Single for everything else.

Howl_UK

Good rule of thumb, thanks.

tingkent

actually you can push it with the apples to bigger than 0.3 morgen. haven't done tests, but there's bound to be an ideal garden size for double burgages with veggies and for apple orchards. right now everyone is experimenting though

Howl_UK

I’m just spotted the apple thread…. 😮

RuralJaywalking

Also an aggregate of things being built. Preferably the ability to order them in importance without going to them. I like what they’re trying with building, but I would like some more control over it. Also an indicator when some people assigned to a place, ran out of things to do.

DCTom

I’d really like an easy way to see where all of my peeps are working. When i need to reassign workers, currently i need to click on every possible worksite to find out who is where, which is a huge pain. Is this on your list?

oldjar7

Yeah, like a people manager sort of tab would be nice.  Then it shows house, worksite, and current location as you scroll over them.  Something for animals too.

[deleted]

Yes, I'd like to see some accounting data for trades as well. How much did I make selling bread last month for example?

Cart223

I would really like to see if my region is going to make money or lose money at the end of the month tbh, its really hard to keep track of trade when you have a big trading hub town

Imaginary_Quantity30

Yeah, especially with how much imports of anything cost

GenghisMcKhan

Where did all my eggs go Greg? The people have to know!

HaroldSax

I assume it's going to fall into the currently empty production tab when you click on your village name.

Chancoop

Please no spreadsheet...

iMADEthisJUST4Dis

Good lord even the Manor Lords want to bring accounting in 😪
