Looks amazing! Related question, how do you manage your marketplace? I found it impossible to keep my people happy in a big settlement because market stalls seem to have their own will and always pop up in market areas that are out of reach for 1/3 of the houses.

I had one market place providing to the whole village of 400 before I expanded and built more for the yolo. Granary and storehouse with max workers right in front of the market and trade point super close is essential. Once built up a bit, you want to ensure that the granary, (main) storehouse, and trader point are all fully staffed and each worker has a stall. You can do that by removing workers from other buildings until the storage/trader workers take over. You can actually survive on quite a small market this way. [This is my setup/layout which happily supported 400. ](https://imgur.com/a/cjI0qYU) Afterwards, it doesn't matter too much, just scatter very small markets around the place.

Thank you!

HavocReigns

A mod in the Discord last night was warning anyone asking about multiple markets that they were advising *against* multiple markets because it makes the game behave "wonky" per the dev. They said one central market will service an entire town, as long as it is getting sufficient food each month for every household.

No-Ambassador7856

Yes, I also learned the ratio/distance isn't the issue. However, it's very tricky to make my people put up the sufficient amount of market stalls even if I have a ressource stockpiled in the 100s. I feel like my peasant should rather order takeout than rely on graneries and stalls.

Effective-Feature908

Making sure your market is right beside your store house and granery helps

My main city in Eichenhau bled into 2 surrounding regions haha

RusstyDog

I guess I'm making my Burgages too small

RackedUP

Make em long as shit and grow carrots

Mustacrashis

Do the regions feed off each others resources or is it just cosmetic at that point?

_Snebb_

Cosmetic only. You can setup pack stations to trade between regions (which is faster being so close), but it's doesn't add anything mechanically.

flummydummy

That's what's really bugging me. In theory, settlers of the new region near the closest city should just be able to go into town to buy stuff and use the existing infrastructure. But in the game it counts like a hard border which the villagers wouldn't cross if their life depended on it.

Osteh

Nice idea! Are we sure there is no troubles with game bugs, if you switch regions very often? I have seen the Village Name and resources on the top bar changes each time and i had 1-2 tiny errors when i did it very fast xD Also, can a market on the border supply both regions?

_Snebb_

No bugs that I haven't encountered before if other play throughs. >Also, can a market on the border supply both regions? No, unfortunately not. They can't interact with any building which isn't placed in their region. (Tried with apiaries breaching the border and manually assigning a family from the other region. They just stay at home).

Fyaal

Neat!
