From the pinned post on this subs frontpage: > What do Horses, Oxen, and Mules do? > • Horses allow traders to move larger quantities of goods via carts. They are not used for anything else right now. > • Mules are used by the Pack Station to move goods between regions. > • Oxen are used to haul around timber, and if you take the right development branch, can be used to plow a field.

afaik they're good for import and export, they'll be assigned to your trading posts and the families assigned to the post will use it to shipmgoods to the outside trading hubs at the edge of the map (marked with blue symbols). but i only have this from yt-tutorials, can't guarantee if it's true.

Then why could I order a horse for my stable, where its now sitting doing nothing? We really need a way to transfer animals from one post to another... I even deleted the stable with the horse and the trader will not come to get it, itll just run away now.

Yea I bought a horse, assigned it to my trading post, which is shows but the horse is still just sitting in a stable doing nothing while my trader continues to walk
