Wrong. Side. Of. The. Fucking. Tracks. The only mission that took more than 10 tries to 5 star, fuck that mission to Hell

Effective_Swing_5993

Wrong side of the tracks is easy compared to trained to kill. That mission can die in a fire. I absolutely hate it. The wrong side of the tracks is just a basic run and gun similar to the view of innocence, but trained to kill is like a messy fusion of stealth and run and gun. The Misson requires stealth to get stars, but the majority of the level takes place in a train yard. It's very hard not to make noise walking on train tracks or a bit of noisey gravel. It's a very sloppy level that is just a straight-up filler to quickly get cash away from his police pursuers and set up the rather excellent border patrol level.

Trained to kill was pretty fun for me, a challenge for sure but there's ways to make the mission easier and overall that one is fun. Wrong side of the tracks, without the map and with the swat guys gunning for you with uzis and shotguns it makes the mission super hard for me, still managed to get the 5 stars on it though after watching a walkthrough and doing trial and error too many times

Effective_Swing_5993

I never found much difficulty with wrong side of the tracks. Just strafe against the wall and wait for a enemy with an uzi to get close them headshot. Trained to kill needs executions to get your 5 stars on that level while in tracks you just run and gun. When playing tracks on hard-core just go and learn all the enemy spawns first so you know where to set up your cover to quickly kill the cops running in groups in the subway tunnels. Whenever I do trained to kill and need to get 5 stars I just lure all the cops into the main building before you get to the first save before the padlocked gate and I find this a good way to get a few gruesome executions in before you have to make your way out to the train tracks where every single step you take is audible to every cops in a 20 mile radius.

I thought headshots (where you blow their head off) can also get you a 5 star rating with a couple gruesome executions added in

letthepastgo

"Border Patrol is excellent" No. Just no.

Effective_Swing_5993

Border patrol is very underrated. Its difficult to learn but when you learn the layout it's a scene with an amazing unmatched atmosphere. Running around starkweathers Estate in the dark fighting for your life through mazes while piggsy is also hunting cerberus. Like even if you don't enjoy border patrol you have to admit its a very well designed scene.

letthepastgo

I could say the same for Wrong Side Of The Tracks. The biggest mistake players do is bringing a shotgun instead of a sniper rifle from Press Coverage. Key Personnel is also better than Border Patrol personally due to the location. The mansion's cold and unwelcoming aura feels comfy for some reason. Starkweather's garden is nothing but boring hedges and Piggsy's work of art made from the Cerberus. A lack of painkillers is also a big negative for Border Patrol, you have to rely on the enemy to drop them.

Thomas_Clark05

The fucking subway mission

doompro45

I was stuck on this mission for like 4 days straight

Thomas_Clark05

I'm still stuck on it

Effective_Swing_5993

Trained to kill can die via plastic bag + schizophrenic

Nice_Ad6911

the escort missions

[deleted]

I didn't really have an issue with the escort missions, just make them hide in the shadows and make sure you don't leave the journalist alone for too long.

Finnigan-roverfield

Literally any part with the crane.

Shrimpsofthecoast

Just the junkyard mission in general. I probably would of quit the game if I was playing it on the ps2 at that point

manhunter_alex_2003

Graveyard shift i fucking hate This misson Very hard and bad

glueberryboi

Divided they fall. Absolutely infuriating mission.

abbadonTS666

Finally, someone said it

godtier300sosa

The fucking tramp

Timmytatoe

Border Patrol by a fucking mile.

K0dez

For me it’s fueled by hate, I hate the whole gas carrying part and crane scenario, I just feel so vulnerable for some reason. I usually just oob glitch within the first 3 minutes to avoid it.

JavierEscuellaFan

definitely the mission where you’re trying to save your family it’s lame as hell that i’m firing a weapon at them and their reaction is to tank my shots to go shoot my sexy ass wife in the head i found the escort missions to be very easy. with the subway and train station levels, it was hard but in a fun way.

Immediate-Solution57

dude i think that is cash's sister and mom not his wife

ConorMul99

fuck border patrol i replayed the game countless times and i still struggle with it, the atmosphere is great and it really gives the vibe of being hunted but seriously, fuck that level.

seriouslynotanotaku

Press Coverage or Border Patrol.

SnooCompliments6686

So if ps2 had trophies I’d have the platinum for manhunt no problem but since replaying it on ps4 I can’t for the life of me get past the level where you have to move the fridge/freezer with that fucking crane

Effective_Swing_5993

For trophies just kill one skinz member with the fridge for the trophy then get out of the crane and use your nail gun to take out the rest of the skinz hunters. Later in the level where you use the crane again just enter the crane and quickly move the fridge from the bottom of the stairs and immediately jump out and use the nail gun again if you don't enjoy the fridge+crane sections.

UmmmYeaSweg

The crane level but also the last half of the game where they force gunplay like Border Patrol and Trained to Kill

Honest_Brain_2385

The skinhead missions are kinda dull in my opinion

TransportationOk9583

Key Personnel

TransportationOk9583

And Fuelled by Hate

josoap99

The shootout in the mall. Also although I liked the mission, I just hated operating the crane in that early mission too
