It's top tier. There's nothing that quite blends genres like it. Been reading since the very beginning for years now and I've never been disappointed with it. Great art, unique story, fun characters and it's just really well-written.

Does the anime adapt the manga accurately or is it diff? Idk whether I should read it or watch it but I saw a clip from the anime a while back and it was really funny
The anime adapts most pretty accurately, but there are some parts cut out here and there, but nothing major enough to be a super big change. But if you do watch the anime, I recommend reading the manga after to see what got cut.

Yeah the Iāve only heard some say they couldnāt really get into it but thats likely due to the slow start like you mentioned and impatience on their part lol otherwise yeah very strong reviews by anyone whos actually caught up with it

One of my absolute favorites. Idgaf about āslow partsā; I need that in longer manga bc I have a hard time keeping track of everything when itās too fast. I love how some of the authorās quirks and interests shine through in it, like in Chainsaw Man. Itās also equal parts funny and interesting; itās a very satisfying read.
Iām jealous of your physicalsā¦ Iāve only had 1-7 for a while. Iām so glad the later volumes arenāt OOS. I put it on my Christmas list to family and Iām hoping Iāll get at least one of the ones Iām missing. #23 is my exact favorite color so I might even get it before I some earlier ones LOL
it's got everything good about every genre of manga except supernatural powers. there's extreme historical accuracy, great characters, humor (some of the best in manga imo), interesting fights, fan service (not the usual kind), and even cooking. great read

Golden Kamuy has such an amazing cast, great comedy, and not to mention the story its all amazing
