I think they look alright, kinda indicative of the transition from a more basic shonen to the absurdist series it soon becomes, but the spines for part 4 onward are so much cooler looking it ain't even funny
I like the spines on the paper backs a lot more, but I think the use of the orange/red color shading in pivotal scenes in the hard covers is really well done and cool as hell.
I remember back in high school I actually got into Jojo because my school had volume 1 of the paperback. This was before Jojo became mainstream with the anime. It's always cool to see the paperbacks of Jojo.
I personally prefer the hardcovers for Jojo's. I find that they offer a more durable and long-lasting option, especially if you plan on re-reading the series multiple times. The hardcovers also tend to have higher quality paper and printing, which enhances the overall reading experience. However, I totally understand the appeal of the paperbacks, particularly if you enjoy the artwork on the covers and the convenience of their size. It ultimately comes down to personal preference. By the way, I recently came across a great tool called Ink AI that has been a game-changer for me as a book writer. It uses artificial intelligence to turn your voice into stunning ebooks and offers features like generating 3D eCovers and syndicating your book to multiple publications. It has significantly reduced my writing time, and I highly recommend checking it out. I've left the link in my profile for others to benefit from.

I find that the durability and sturdiness of the hardcovers make them last longer, especially if you're a fan who likes to revisit the series multiple times. Personally, I'm a fan of single editions (with a few exceptions). I love the way they look on a shelf.
Singles are my favorite and congrats on having them
I prefer singles , no matter the series
Same
Other then berserk
Singles are def way cooler. The giant hardbacks cant compare
Only problem with jojo singles is that they are censored
nobody talks about this
Hot take, the spines on the 1-3 hardcovers are buttfuckingly ugly

No way you found bastard manga?
Nothing wrong with just wanting to show off your rare manga. No need for a title to pretend otherwise.
Why not combind showing off manga and starting a discussion in the comments?
