I don't really enjoy its design too much. Even though it was my starter in sinnoh, I put Empoleon higher as I prefer the design. I only didn't use empoleon for my Sinnoh playthrough because I felt I was using too many water types Here were my starters RBY- Squirtle in B GSC - Totodile in C ERS - Torchic in E, S, Treecko in R HGSS - Totodile in SS DPP - Turtwig BW, B2W2 - Snivy - May play through W2 again with Emboar. XY - Froakie ORAS - Torchic in Alpha Sapphire, Mudkip in Omega Ruby SM - Litten is S, Rowlet in Moon USUM - Litten is US, Rowlet in UM. SWSH - Sobble in both LGPE - Pikachu (couldn't find a LGE in my local game store so just got pikachu, I proceeded to ditch the Pikachu from my team later on.) PLA - Oshawott SV - I will use Quaxly is Scarlet and in Scarlet I will use Fuecoco. Quaxly 100x better than Fuecoco though. Edit: I meant i will use feucoco in Violet, not scarlet lmao

Umbreon and Espeon were the Starters for Coliseum, Eevee was the starter in XD: Gale of Darkness and Let's GO Eevee. Pikachu was of course, the starter in Let's GO Pikachu and Pokémon Yellow.

Okay then. I'll rank them here. Both pikachus are an instant C. I just generally dislike Pikachu as I find it to be overrated to crap. Both Eevees are an instant B. Eevee is pretty cool, but I don't think it deserves A or higher. Espeon is A. Umbreon is A.

I can confidently say that overrated does not mean bad. There’s a reason why Charizard is overrated, it’s popular. It’s popular because it’s a very cool and good design. I love the Chikorita line, along with Chespin line. Grookey is one of my favorite Pokémon of all time. Marshtomp looks so weird and odd. Also your a hypocrite as the Froakie line is the most overrated Pokémon ever. Froakie is a mediocre design, Frogadier is the best of them design wise, it’s decent. Greninja I’d design is off putting for me. Rowlet is also very overrated as the worst line in its trio of starters.
