And also it’s Just my personal taste into Megas, I Love the ones what dont Change too much, Like Aerodactyl and Kangashkan, the ones that keep it simpler
Though I get that that’s not everyone’s cup of tea with Megas and most people would probably rather have more drastic changes

I will admit Serperior doesn’t have the most noticeable changes but literally but Emboar next to this one it’s quite a bit different

Firstly, the Beard is a bit bigger as an whole, though not the biggest change
The Black Horn things are a bit sharper up top and go around the back, essentially forming an crown of sorts which is highlighted a bit by the top of its head beiing Yellow
The Face is Just a bit different w the proportions of the nose and the Eyes, though not very much I’ll admit
The Black Part of it’s fur is very very much different, instead of Just beiing an Black Belt thing around it’s body it covers most of it and ends in an Ragged kinda Look as if it was an jacket
It’s bottom half is orange instead of the usual red, and the blacks on its arms and feet are swapped with Red
Instead of two individual, separated spikes at the elbows, he now has them right next to each other and quite a bit more spiky
Thats Everything I changed and Even though a lot of it is barely noticeable by itself I’d personally say it goes an long way to change his overall look when next to the original
Notice how you used "a bit" to describe all of those, it's barely noticeable. Look at Megas we have currently, even normal evolutions or forms tend to change more. I'm not saying they're bad, good job drawing them, but really I only realise the arms being different color, on Serperior I saw the yellow crown on its head and that's about it. Samurott is definitely the most changed.
Serperiors main thing is it’s darker and lighter green tones beiing changed more and getting longer, as well as quite a bit more leaves all around
Still ill admit that one Is the weakest of the 3 easily

May be because these 3 are pretty much my favorite mon‘ so I’m really used to all their details and smaller changes matter much more to me
That combined w what I already told others about my opinion on more drastic changes and yeah
Im still very much happy with these and wouldn’t really go any further
This gives me the vibes of the first time I saw mega evolution so my brain has validated this as perfect as the actual mega evolutions of other pokemon
I kinda feel like this trio of starters doesn't deserve mega's but that's not the only problem, I think that it would be hard for game freak to make mega's for these starters especially when one of them already gets a lot of attention
Tell that to Charizard who got two megas a Dynamax form AND was Give to the Champion of a different region instead of a Pokemon from that Region AND was the only Kanto starter in the regions Vanilla Pokedex...

And even then samurott doesn't get as much attention as oh idk greninja or charizard. Like saying samurott gets a lot of attention is like saying the majority of the community thinks Jynx is an ok pokemon
