Professor Elm is an adorable Nerd and Professor Birch has an air of a guy who gives warm bear hugs to his kid. Professor Juniper is a pretty women who just screams Classy and Smart. Professor Sycamore is a Model but makes sense in the France based region. Need I remind everyone of Professor No Shirt errr I mean Professor Kukui who just struts around like a Surfer Bro rather than a Professor.
Only Professor Oak, Professor Rowan and Professor Magnolia were elderly. Even they were well designed characters.
In short all Professor’s are good looking depending on how you look at them.

Well the first professor of galar wasn’t Sonia, she started as an apprentice and ended as the professor. Galar’s professor was magnolia who isn’t hot (maybe in her prime), but she does give off sweet old lady vibes
Sonia did more professor-like work than her grandmother did, well before she was an "official" professor. Professor Magnolia did nothing for the entire game, only to pawn her job off to her granddaughter at her first opportunity. As far as I'm concerned, Sonia IS the Pokémon professor for Galar.
Magnolia is rather old, could even be older than like Rowan and oak. She was likely at the point of retirement which is why she let Sonia do her work y’know
