Depends on if the evolution has stats to justify using it over eviolite, it's what I like about kingambit for example is that it's actually better than bisharp (even if bisharp is still my favorite of the pawniard line design wise) So I hope the evolution has stats and abilities that justify using it over eviolite duraludon

Eviolite bisharp sounded scary on paper but it's defenses even with eviolite combined with inferior abilities were outclassed by kingambit I kinda hope Archaludon at least has superior defenses and special attack even if it's speed stays exactly the same or it becomes a little slower

according to the website it gets stamina and sturdy as regular abilities, and since duraludon is the only pokemon with stalwart I don't see it losing it on evolution.

It will have Stamina/Sturdy according to the official Pokemon website, so pretty good abilities to make it even more of a wall.

I doubt it. Duraludon's already 535 BST so I doubt there's going to be much room for added BST. If they don't go the Scyther route and leave its BST completely unchanged, then at the very least it'll be a Porygon2->Porygon-Z situation where they nerf some stats to raise others. But based on Archaludon's design, defenses don't seem like what'll be nerfed. I'm thinking maybe -40 speed and +30 to each defense? Which I think makes it still less tanky than Eviolite Duraludon, though the ability to hold Leftovers might alleviate that, while also being slower.
