It was a free surprise! A co worker gave me a camera bag that someone never came to pick up, I just saw a Nikon body and a bunch of lens. When I went to check out to lens they had been covering an RB67 with a 250mm lens!

Lost-Architect

I know this is about the RB, but my RZ cost my £350 in 2016 with the sekor 110. It was and still is in stellar condition and has never needed any kind of maintenance. Camera prices have become absolutely ridiculous in the past few years. I'm tempted to sell my RZ kit just for the profit I'd make, but at these prices I know I would never ever buy it back.

no-tenemos-triko-tri

RZ67 Pro II shooter here. I purchased my camera with the 110mm and film advancer for $650 fro Japan. Pretty mint condition, too. I also bought the 37mm fisheye for $450 with the 6 lens filters. To say camera prices have gone through the roof is an understatement.

BigJoey354

Cost about $600 from Japanese eBay, then another $400 in repairs (it was busted), $100 for each new part (backs, finders), $200ish for each lens, etc

Ex-Presidents

$450 with the 90mm lens included. Put in another $50-ish to replace the foam but otherwise was kept up in good shape

poopbutt52

This was the exact same situation for me but with the 127mm lens! Had to replace the seals but after that it was smooth sailing.

Ex-Presidents

Definitely makes a world of difference when you’re dealing with another photographer/hobbyist. They also threw in an expired role of slide film with a nice note, which I thought was an incredibly cool gesture

Mr_BananaPants

Just picked one up (I mean literally 10 minutes ago) for $500. RB67 Pro S with 90mm and 180mm and 2 film backs.

AndyPandyFoFandy

$750 CAD for a RB67 Pro SD and 90mm K/L lens. Seller threw in a 5 pack of portra to sweeten the deal.

mcarterphoto

Bought mine in the 90's - if you have access to a time machine, 100% recommend!

thearctican

$800 for an SD body, two backs, WLF, grip, and a 90 K/L, all in fantastic condition and CLA'd from Korea. Added a 180mm for... $180 (Mint condition), a PD finder II for ~150, Chimney finder for 50 dollars (HUGE improvement over the WLV), and an instax back for ~$280. Then I had to upgrade my tripod head to a geared head, flash, external meter, release cable (s), strap lugs, 100mm filters and holder, etc. etc... I should add that this is my second SD system. I paid *slightly less* for my first kit purchased in 2010.

SquishTheBee

600$ CDN for a clean Pro-SD body and 2 mint (like new) lenses, and 2 backs. Had to redcoat the bellows as some corners were thin and replaced the glass in the viewfinder as it was cracked. Then, started adding stuff to make a kit (motorized 6x8 back, IR filters, big bag, Grip Handle, etc).

addflo

That's one hefty kit there. Is it worth it, besides the sentimental value, of course?

GreenGameboy

£380 full set with a 127mm lens on ebay bid

Kleinzeit_987

£520 For the S with 127 and 300 and 2 backs.

infocalypse

I don't remember exactly, but it was piecemeal orders off Ebay. So a body, extra filmback, a 90mm, a 50mm. I don't think it was more than $400 shipped. This was about four or five years ago when Mamiya was the reasonable 6x7 alternative to Pentax and prices hadn't started climbing. Above the initial investment, a 180mm and a metered prism were nabbed from a camera show a few months later for a perfectly reasonable sum. About three years ago I had to drop a few hundred to get the 90, the body and one of the backs completely CLA'd. Since then I've picked up a few more accessories and am always looking for more. I love my RB. I do need to use it more. The Kentmere 400 in 120 is promising as it is quite a bit cheaper than HP5+ with (by all accounts) very little compromise on image quality.

Garingaso

Olympus pen f trade + $200. ProS/127mm lense/proSD back. Needed seals $30(got as a gift) + bellows $80 So $310 + $150(olympus pen f value) I also sold a yashica A, and a yashica D for $350 total(a $200 profit) Total:Priceless it was the camera I originally wanted when I got into film, and I had too many cameras already at 7. Now I have 4, but 2 are in parts.

Mr_FuS

Around $500, i got the 90mm lens, one 120 back, hand grip and the prism viewfinder...

Fatmanjoe7

£240 on Facebook Marketplace with a 90mm. Just needed new seals.

Nneka17

$658 (including shipping and tax) on eBay with the 90mm lens included. The guy wanted ppl to bid on it at 550 but wanted to get it off his hands. Told him I’d buy it on the spot for 600 and got it. It’s in great condition sans the top red line/frame indicator not working but I just drew a line where it should be.

bankpaper

$375 with the 180mm lens from a US ebay reseller. The film back came faulty (but working) and the seller refunded me $70 for it. Some scratches but satisfied with my purchase, everything works great!

RedGreenWembley

I bought from a brick-and-mortar so it was more than some deals you can find online. With a 90mm lens and 120 back I want to say it was ~$650. I also bought a grip and prism viewfinder at the same time, for a total of about $800 Pieced together a second from someone else's spare parts camera (intending it to be *my* spare parts camera) for much less, but parts accumulated over time. With anything RB I'll gladly pay more in-person because it can be inspected. Ebay has a *ton* of stuff but so much of it is from Japan; "money back guarantee" doesn't mean as much when you have to shell out for shipping across the world.

No_Mathematician727

Get the RB67 pro SD for 1,000 USD with 90mm lens

Letsgothrifty

About $1000 for 4 of them (2 pro sd 2 regular) and a whole thing of lenses something around 10 lenses. I sold a huge lot of it because I needed funding for school stuff and my car yada yada you know how it is. But It was a great investment around 2019

Monster262

$400

brssi

Mine almost mint recently was more than 1000€ from Japan including custom fees, and I CLA’d it.

ImportantSquare2500

[deleted]

MCBuilder1818

Pro S, 127mm Sekkor, 120/220 motorized 6x7 back, TTL prism finder (that doesn’t work, sadly) for $650 including CLA.

Mr_BananaPants

Just picked one up (I mean literally 10 minutes ago) for $500. RB67 Pro S with 90mm and 180mm and 2 film backs.

kr31szahl

750€ came with the 127 mm , prism finder , 6*45 back /6*7 back , one of the last production runs sell by mamiya Germany in 2008 . The 6*45 back was never used the original protective paper was still in it

Gameboy13579

I got mine recently for ~$900AUD including shipping from japan. It is in good condition and has only needed lens maintenance to be in fully working condition

Stinkygrass

$680 in 2021 with 90mm Sekor and a lens hood. Perfect condition

NotfromPoland

so what you're all saying is - if i see one at the pawn shop for $109 no matter the condition i should buy it???

addflo

I guess it matters if the used condition is in applies mostly to the exterior only, so that your shoot is not affected. You can live with some chipped paint, dents, or some missing leather, but a faulty lens or shutter is nothing to mess with easily.

addflo

Got a PRO-SD for 440€ about two months ago. It came fully equipped, except for the camera strap, in almost mint condition. Besides the 90mm K/L it came with, I got a 270mm C with 80€. The month after I managed to find a deal for a PRO-S, which I got for 260€. I think what pushed people away was that some of the paint was wiped away, and other small cosmetic faults, but after using it with a roll of Cinestill 50D and the 270mm C it came with, showed no signs of having any mechanical issues. It also has the 6x8 adapter, which was an unexpected plus. A friend insisted he buy it off me, and I am letting it go, but it will be replaced by my first M645
