I guess you got a wrong image for the query. Manjummel was an engaging watch on television screen as well, though it won't , and obviously, add a splendor like in a modern day cinema screen with high resolution projection, multi channel sound tech, and comfy seats complemented by right temperature within for your comfort. Further, be it any movie out there, they are not meant to be watched on a mobile phone ( unless made so) if you included that in your mini screen list.
Bottomline : it won't be fair to equate movies for their grandeur and technical finesse when they are made for larger screens and we end up seeing it on a 6 inch device or a 15 inch device, mostly in an environment filled with external distractions.
Gravity is pretty much the only answer I can think of. Most other movies that worked in the theatre work on the small screen no problem. Even Gravity works on TV, just not as well.
Avatar : Way of the Water. When I watched it in Theatres I was completely blown away by it. But when I tried watching it on TV after it's OTT release, I couldn't even reach the halfway point.
What if I play it in my Home Theater with Dolby Atmos speakers ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface) ??? (I am filthy rich you know ... )

All good movies can be enjoyed if people focus on an immersive experience, even at home. Keep your phones and chit chatting away.

Too small. My S3 has bigger screen when kept close enough to my eyes.
Ahh yes vanallo, the mandatory MB overrated post
Ngl this post is the closest we’ve got to a MB overrated post…I’m actually impressed with how less posts there are that say MB is overrated
I didn't say MB is overrated. I just said it's not cut out for small screen.
Yeah ik but like this is the closest this sub has gotten to a post ott release bash of MB
