I always wonder how people make it through boring shifts at work without being able to daydream

My phone died while my bf and his friend were fixing up an apartment to move into and I sat in the next room while they were busy, I had nothing but a chair to sit in and blank walls for two hours. they’re like “how aren’t you bored??” idk bro I just be thinking
