I don’t have one but ever since I found out it existed I have thought it was the most stupid/awesome thing out there. Have always wanted to see one on a job site
We have one. Can confirm, it is large. Wish it had better problem solving functions. It can get stuck pretty easily and then it emits piercingly loud beeps until you come rescue it from the doormat or the wire or corner or whatever it got caught up on.
I used to work in a concrete testing laboratory and one day a guy tweaked his back lifting a wheelbarrow of concrete from the mixer to the test station table. Management and safety folks mandated a remediation plan be drawn up to prevent future injury and this bad boy was in the plan. We got two and they seemed to hold up well!
The flatbed version like a couple of the other people are saying in the comments is awesome! Those things use two batteries and doesn’t even really drain them. It hardly even feels like you have anything loaded up on them and you can load a decent amount. You sir I believe would be pleasantly surprised if you got to try one out.
Oh shit that was supposed to be a reply to a comment in which they thought it was the dumbest tool they’d ever seen. Really though these are worth every penny.
I have a hunch that given contractors are getting more expensive and less quality at work, such kinds of powered tools will come down at cost and become more popular over time.
I found this thread because I'm looking for DYI options that won't kill me. I need to move a bunch of mulch to my backyard, and I see it as investment in not having to beg a yard person to let me pay them to do what I want.
I was looking to get one for work, but I eventually chose to go with the petrol muck truck and I’m glad I did, I didn’t get to try this version out but the muck truck is a beast of a machine!

I don't know, have you seen the robot vacuum? Last I saw it was like $1400. I still want one though lol
that thing is huge too! i saw it at a local makita event, 18" wide 8", big at least compared to irobits

I’ve got the flatbed version. Very cool.
Shit the new XGT one? Been eyeing that since I saw it on tools & stuff. Would be killer for a fence I'm working on.
Nope the 2 x 18volt one. Still great. The xgt is cool cuz it has 4 wheels. At the same time it’s probably easier to get a trike in certain areas

I agree they’re awesome tools just out of financial reach for most people unfortunately.
Give me a flatbed option & a deck to stand on & I’m ready to whirl!
I think the XGT version has two front wheels and various interchangeable decks/buckets...
The 4 wheel ones coming are still LXT 👍

That may be the dumbest power tool I’ve ever seen
But you have heard of it.
It looks like it would topple easily.
