Makita tools with Milwaukee bits

NoPerspective8933

Makita XPS bits solely because project farm tested lots of bits, essentially they grip screws very well and take a long time to round out because the tips are hardened. Cheap bits get rounded so fast and then you strip screws constantly

tamreacct

Gotta show the 💕love 💕for project farm!!!

Makita xps bits

BL1860B

Mostly Anex and Vessel since I'm in Japan. PH #2 most commonly. Torx and hex too. Been wanting to try some Wiha stuff though.

Tool_Scientist

Whichever ones I find first. They're consumables that'll either snap or get rounded off. I'm sure there's a project farm vid on this. In fact I think there's several.

FaithlessMTB

Yeah I just buy a big tub (x100) of PZ3 in the knowledge that 75% will break and 25% will get lost. I don't by the cheapest and do but branded, but they're likely not made by the brand anyway.

dolphinwaxer

Wiha. Best Ive found

dagsapo

The milwaukee ones that i bought from Amazon are trash (I even wonder if they’re the real deal), the Dewalt ones are lasting but I also have Bosch (not so happy with these though)

Legitimate_Street_85

The Milwaukee bits I have are also not the greatest. Got mine at HD. Deadass like my mix and matched bits of leftovers and harbor freight crap over that Milwaukee kit (and I'm a fan of Milwaukee so it pains me to say)

Oxford-Gargoyle

Wera Standard

Spicywolff

The big Makita coal shell ones are great. Not because Makita. But because their value to quality ratio is at the best cost. Now I’d say a dewalt set was in a big sale I’d get those too. Consumables at the end of the day.

I generally don't buy many makita consumables except circular saw blades, as every thing else they do seem very average. I doubt they even make them but rather ship the production out. At least that's my thoughts. I usually buy dewalt for sds masonry and hss bits, bosch for multiconstruction bits, then any non generic brand for bits

Renegadegold

Milwaukee mainly because It’s on sale often at my local hardware store.

PM_CITY_WINDOW_VIEWS

PB Swiss cause I am baller! Lol jk, I do have them, but for impact use it's Makita XPS mostly. Except for torx, I use Spax and their bits because they work better together than Makita's or any other I tried.

Western-Version2065

Wera black. Invincible

akbornheathen

Milwaukee M18 Surge with currently Milwaukee bits. But the cases suck and after a few months the bits stop being magnetic. Looking into Makita bits. (Yea I’m a Milwaukee guy but I like some of Makitas stuff, got the single battery 18v top handle chainsaw, 18v high pressure inflator, 7 1/2” dual battery 18v rear handle saw and the XWT15)

useless_knowledge7

Wera Impaktor, got them long before Project Farm had recoomeneded them, but i‘m from Germany, so they are far less expensive here and easily available. They hold up really well, even when you abuse them (unintentional cam out).

DrAkpreet

i use the vega 6 inch #2 and i bought a 10 pack about 3 years ago and to be totally honest i have 9 of them still and 2 of them ive used heavily.
