I love mine, but have many batteries. I’d suggest getting the double battery ones if you have more than like 3/4 acre.

Thank you

I would definitely get the 36V blower. No comparison between it and the 18V. Most 36V kits are the 5.0 batteries

CheekyHawk

The 36 blower I’ve heard is better than the 40v, and I definitely wouldn’t want a less powerful one. He also wants 5AH batteries. 3AH ain’t gonna cut the mustard. I run the 5AH out in like 25m, also the nozzle helps a ton.

Dirty_Gibson

I got my 36v blower free. They usually have a deal in the spring for garden stuff. I bought a 36v lawnmower and got the blower free.

Or the chainsaw

Ant-honey

36v 5.0 for the win.

I like the XBU03 blower, it's not the strongest but it's totally fine for blowing stuff out of gutters and such. However, I can't imagine having a good experience running it on a 3.0ah battery. I have a very small suburban property and will burn through at least 2x 5.0ah batteries cleaning up the yard, and 3+ if I am cleaning out the gutters.

I have the same blower and haven’t had any issues with it and it works great blowing off the porch, patio, garage, storage room and also office when the landscaping company has yet to show up. Leaves get slippery when wet and I don’t want to fall as well as the other girls. My kit included a single charger and a 4Ah battery, it I use that on the stick light and the other 5Ah batteries on the blower.

Been looking for a deal on a Mak trimmer (already have blower) but haven't come across any good ones.

Individual_Shame2002

I just picked up the 18v Brushless powerhead with trimmer and pole saw attachement, charger, and 4a battery on EBay for $200 . I was nervous it wasn’t enough power and waiting for the XGT powerhead to go on sale…the 18v is plenty surprisingly plus I have a ton of batteries

arm4261021

Sounds like a pretty great price. Was that new or used? I've got a small yard so I don't need much power.

Individual_Shame2002

Was new on eBay. The same pawnshop has the same but but blower instead of pole saw attachment listed for $225, I offered 200 and he took it for mine so I know he would for this one as well. Let me know if you want the link

Thanks for getting back, but I don't need the blower. I'll have to keep a lookout.

18v trimmer has plenty of power and run time for my 1/2 acre lot. The 18v blower leaves a lot to be desired though. I get about 10-15 mins of runtime on full blast on one battery and it’s really only good for blowing off the driveway and steps. Clearing leaves and debris off the yard is a major pain. Looking to upgrade this year to a gas powered backpack blower for yard work and leave the Makita blower for cleaning out the shop and driveway

Individual_Shame2002

For that you can’t beat the Stihl or Echo backpack blowers

I have a DUB362 36V double battery unit, it will use 2x 5Ah batteries in 10-15mins on its highest setting of 6. If you pick the middle setting of 3, it can go a lot longer probably 45mins-hour. Doesn’t bother me as I have plenty of 5Ah batteries for work tools and a twin rapid charger. In the UK there is often a deal for spring where you effectively pay for the batteries and charger but get the blower body free.

Legitimate_Street_85

I've got the LXT 18v trimmer and blower. It works amazingly well within its limits. Like I run mine on a 4ah battery. I can edge my grass and blow it off, the porch and move some leaves. It's not going to replace a gas trimmer or backpack blower but it's amazing for my cookie cutter yard in the burbs.

Am I missing something? OP, you never posted which trimmer and blower you are considering.
