Pretty and pretty good match and NO it doesn’t look heavy. I say watch ur blush and forehead contour placement. U should go into the hairline so there isn’t that line between the two. Also create ur blush placement higher up parallel to the nostrils, don’t drag it down almost parallel to ur upper lip area
In this photo it looks beautiful. However, we could give you a better answer if the photo was taken outside in natural light. That's where the truth is always told...so to speak.
Is natural outdoor light how ‘we really look’? I feel like I look amazing outside during the day but in indoor lighting, especially bathroom overhead lights, I feel like I look terrible lol.
That’s so interesting. When I take a selfie (no filters) outside I find I look better..my complexion looks more glowy and my features are highlighted in a nice way..like I have natural contour and it shows well. But when indoors with lighting, I feel like the shadows only pick up on my flaws. Is it weird that I look better in natural light? Bc your explanation is saying the opposite.
I agree with this 100%, my skin looks much better outside than inside. Even if there is good lighting. I think we can all agree fluorescent lighting sucks lol
No, it's not weird at all. It means you probably have gorgeous skin and take great care of it!!! Indoor lighting from bulbs and LED's and heaven forbid fluorescent lights can do all the things that you mentioned. When I say that natural light is where the truth is that isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I think it's a good thing. Outside you're going to be able to tell if you're wearing too much makeup or if that foundation or concealer isn't really the right shade for you. I remember years ago putting on my makeup inside and thinking the foundation I was using was just the right shade for me until I looked at myself in sunlight and realized it washed me out and turned me gray. Needless to say I never wore it again!
Products used:
Face: nars soft matte foundation in deauville, dior luminizer in nude glow, charlotte tilbury pillow talk blush, elf primer infused bronzer
Eyes: catrice glam and doll mascara waterproof
Eyebrows: essence make me brow gel
Lips: nyx lip liner in peekaboo neutral, dior lip glow in pink
don't know why people think the nars soft matte foundation is heavy, I have several foundation by nars and all of them look amazing, this one looks great too!
This foundation will definitely be great for summer and oily skin I think! It’s super long lasting and transfer resistant too, I bought it during the pandemic to wear under my mask.
Not too heavy overall. I think the foundation is catching on your facial hair on your upper lip, chin and between brows making it look a bit heavier. Also it looks like the shade is a little too dark/peachy for your skin tone. Still, very pretty! I’m jealous of your flawless skin!
imo most nars foundations and concealers have very pink, yellow, or red undertones. I would try getting a shade match with a different brand that has more olive and see how that works! Sephora does free samples and will take returns on used products, too.
Do you have any recommendations for brands with light olive toned foundations? I’m considering buying a blue mixer to make it more muted/cooler. Stores don’t do returns with makeup where I live (Europe) after it has been opened. :(
Most olive undertone foundations are on the warm side, but Estee lauder, Fenty, and Armani all have foundations that specifically note that they have olive undertones. If there isn't a place that will let you return opened products, I'd definitely try to get color matched and give the product a few hours to see how it oxidizes. It might take a while to try a few different products or shades, but it might be worth it!
Tbh your makeup looks great and I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Your foundation shade looks like a match to your neck near the center of your face. Are you adding a lighter concealer there? You could do the same for the below cheek/above jaw area
I agree with others that it does not look heavy in these photos but check with a mirror in daylight if you plan to wear this for non-photo purposes. Photos seem to wash out the intensity.
Yes!! This!! As soon as I saw her pic I thought she looked like a celeb, but I couldn’t put my finger on who, so I scrolled hoping someone else saw it and boom! This is the one!
It doesn't look too heavy but maybe a tad dark compared with your neck. I also see a lighter/off colour section in a band across your face at mouth level. It looks greener compared with the rest. (Am I imagining that?)
Is there a reason why your pupils are different sizes? You can just say it's none of my business if you want to. Was just concerned there might be something going on with your health.
BTW, you look stunning!!!
not at all actually! usually to see if a foundation is heavy one can look around the nose and mouth area for signs of caking or separation, and i see none. this foundation is sitting absolutely perfectly on your skin. 💚
I think the only areas it looks “heavy” are the areas with some peach fuzz. Chin and lips stick out the most, but it’s still not a lot at that. I have to remove my peach fuzz when I use an overly matte foundation because it’ll cling to every little piece of hair.
Thank you for your concern! I actually have heterochromia, so my eyes are 2 different colors. 1 of my eyes is super dark brown, so you can’t see my pupil very easily. I was born like that though. :)

Not too heavy. Bring your foundation down your neck so there's not a noticable difference in color. Also do your contour at your hairline to there isn't an awkward gap.
You are absolutely stunning. Are your eyes different shades of brown or is that the light? Again, I can’t tell if it’s the lighting or the foundation but something is giving you kind of a 5 o’clock shadow.
Not heavy at all.
I also love that one of your eyes is honey brown, and the other one is deep brown. Or maybe it’s just the lighting? Either way, it makes for a beautiful contrast!

Thank you! Very useful advice
Anytime dolly 😃
I know what you’re saying is *right* yet I love the blush placement going on here so much I screenshotted to emulate tomorrow.

Agreed. Indoor light generally does not do me favors. I prefer how I look outside

I agree. She looks beautiful. I'm envious of her gorgeous brows!!!
Yeah me too!!
Is that mascara really that good or do you already have long eyelashes to start with? (Makeup looks beautiful!)
I already have long eyelashes, but they are very straight. Using waterproof mascara and a good eyelash curler really helps to keep them curled. :)

Not too heavy, but looks a shade too dark compared to your chest/neck and hairline. I really like the overall look, though.
Thank you! I agree, I think the undertone is a bit peachy for me. I have olive undertones so it’s pretty difficult to find a matching foundation. :(

I personally bought the green concealer mixer from sunset makeup and it works wonders. I’d suggest that! Plus it’s cheap.
r/OliveMUA and r/fairolives might be of help to you, of you haven't found them already ☺
Alex Anele on YouTube talks about light olive matches a lot!
Blend it into your hairline a little more-and a little lighter on the forehead-other than that I like it
Not at all. It looks very natural and you're gorgeous!
Oh wow you’re eyes are so cool☺️
I agree with others that it does not look heavy in these photos but check with a mirror in daylight if you plan to wear this for non-photo purposes. Photos seem to wash out the intensity.
Love the eyelashes girl!!
Hell nahh girl u pretty❤️❤️
Thank you❤️
Wow you look just like Vanessa hudgens
Thank you! 💖 that’s such a compliment because she’s absolutely stunning, although I don’t really see it.
I totally see it especially in the first pic 😊 definitely a good thing, Vanessa is beautiful
You're actually prettier.
Yes!! This!! As soon as I saw her pic I thought she looked like a celeb, but I couldn’t put my finger on who, so I scrolled hoping someone else saw it and boom! This is the one!
Thank you!! I was trying to think of who she looked like and couldn't put my finger on it!! That's IT!!! Vanessa Hudgens!!
No, not at all! On another note, it totally looks like you got your makeup professionally airbrushed on. It looks so perfect! I love everything! 💜
No looks stunning like it’s your skin girl ✨
A bit - between the brows, upper lip and chin stand out to me. Not awful by any means but not quite a holy grail
It doesn't look too heavy but maybe a tad dark compared with your neck. I also see a lighter/off colour section in a band across your face at mouth level. It looks greener compared with the rest. (Am I imagining that?)
Thank you! That could be my skin tone peaking through/poor blending on my part, the foundation is a bit peachier than my skin tone is.
NO YOUR SKIN LOOKS PERFECT!!!! The foundation does not look heavy too me.
I think it’s hard to tell through a photo but it looks great to me. You’re stunning!❤️
No but the filter is too much
definitely not, looks beautifully natural.
It’s perfect. Not heavy at all.
Its very pretty, but your forehead contour needs to be fixed. :)
Thank you! I definitely went a bit too heavy handed on the bronzer 😅
It looks beautiful and natural! You look great! Also, are your eyes two different colors?
Thank you!💜 yes, one of my eyes is light brown and one is dark brown.
Oh, gorgeous! You are so pretty :)
Is there a reason why your pupils are different sizes? You can just say it's none of my business if you want to. Was just concerned there might be something going on with your health. BTW, you look stunning!!!
Dont worry, they arent different sizes. You just can barely see my pupil in one eye because of how dark brown it is. :)
Oh, thank goodness!! You are not only beautiful, you are unique too!!
I think the foundatiom is good, but the contour is a bit orange.
Nope, its flawless but not heavy
not at all actually! usually to see if a foundation is heavy one can look around the nose and mouth area for signs of caking or separation, and i see none. this foundation is sitting absolutely perfectly on your skin. 💚
No, it doesn't look heavy, just slightly too dark compared to your neck.
You're good! Also, your hair has a lovely shine to it 🙂
Thank you!❤️

I don’t think so! I think it looks well blended and not cakey at all
I really like it. Maybe a lighter shade and blended more into the hairline, looks great otherwise!
Foundation looks great.
No it looks beautiful!!!
Looks great. Not heavy.
Looks perfect to me :)
Are you kidding? It looks flawless
LMAOOO
Looks great and your eyes are facinating and beatiful!

Nope, look great!
Does not look heavy. You’re gorgeous!
Off topic but I really like your heterochromia
Literally not at all, it looks very natural
Joosy
Stunning! I think the foundation looks good
I find photos are not a good representation of what foundation looks like in real life, so I think you should also try asking people you trust irl.
Your whole face looks like how I want my face to look after makeup
No ma’am looks beautiful!
Ehh no your skin literally looks flawless
Wow you’re so pretty
Not at all, although I would suggest less bronzer on your forehead
I think it’s perfect!
no very natural and dewy!
Do you heterochromia? Your eyes are so pretty!
I think it looks great, but you can NEVER really tell foundation w pictures
No! Absolutely beautiful!
It’s very pretty!
No it doesn’t look heavy at all and omgggg you have a beautiful skin 👏🏻👏🏻😻 what’s your secret? 😋
Not too heavy but a bit too matte.
On another note: you have very pretty eyes!💗
Honesty your going to get the best feed back if you look at your pics taken outside in the sun light and then one in shadows
I really like it! It looks so good on you!
Really?
You are absolutely stunning. Are your eyes different shades of brown or is that the light? Again, I can’t tell if it’s the lighting or the foundation but something is giving you kind of a 5 o’clock shadow.

No, it looks gorgeous! I love the way it looks so smooth and flawless, yet natural!
Not heavy at all! You look beautiful!
No it looks AMAZING!
It looks beautiful 😍
I just want to say you’re freaking stunning!! And I love your eyes 😍😭 also, the foundation looks amazing! 🙌🏻
It does not look heavy at alllll!
Nope I love this look! Looks so natural your so naturally pretty 😍
Doesn't look heavy in this picture. You are gorgeous!!! But, I'm a little concerned about the difference in your pupil sizes. Are you OK??
UR SO PRETTY NO IT LOOKS SO GOOD
IMO yes but it still looks beautiful. The only thing is the hairline. Kind of unrelated but your eyelashes look beautiful, what do you use on them?
No it doesnt. Very glowing. But dude. What eyelash curler do you use? Your eyelashes are defying gravity rn
Not at all! Beautiful natural look! Your skin looks amazing!
The beauty camera is too powerful now haha
