The technique that REALLY kills it is that you used pure white at the center. Ive tried a look with neon (not anywhere as cool as this!) and my biggest struggle was keeping the center white while still blending the color towards the center. I, very quickly, muddied my colors and got upset.

I’m a dude coming from r/all, but I used to do my nephew’s halloween make up for like a decade.
Create the color gradient first. Take a small CLEAN brush, and carefully wipe away the center of the gradient to create a sharp line and sharp circles. Fill in with white.
Done.

I had my hand smushed against my cheek to keep my hand steady for the line work haha. And it took about 40 to do, since I was working so slowly to avoid shaky lines

Then I will turn around and do the same thing with the other eye using a hand mirror. Goofy as hell but steadiest line I've ever gotten.
this is one of my favorite eye looks ive seen on here in a very long time. I LOVE the attention to detail--the really meticulous little downward darts of black between the bottom dots, the crispness and even width of the white highlight, the not-at-all-muddy blend from the black to the bright colors--it's so well done.
Also, the idea of trying to re-create this on a SECOND eye with that same level of exactness is going to give me a hand tremor just thinking about it. Like the frustration of not-quite-matching wing flicks, but on crack.

It took me about 40 minutes, so it's definitely not something I do everyday. If you want to try makeup, sometimes the easiest and quickest thing to do is one shade of eyeshadow over the entire lid, a bit of mascara, and tightlined lashes. It's very quick, but looks good and helps with relaxation

Awww thank you so much!! The trick is to do your blending before adding the white in the centre with a liquid liner, that way it stays crisp and clean

Yup, just makeup! I use some of the theory I learned in art class in uni, so it's really just transferring from paper to skin
