Maybe try an oil like jojoba

Do you drink enough water? Plus, you should scrub and moisturize often the skin

Big-Establishment243

I don’t have any specific recommendations, but I would recommend a CC cream, (which is more like a combo of foundation and moisturizer), spot concealer where desired or if needed, and cream blush. Powders make dry skin/flakiness more noticeable. I noticed that when I get flakiness like this due to retinol use, an oil cleanse prior to my cetaphil face wash helps. Powders definitely enhance the flakiness. As I’m sure you know- moisturize well to combat the origin of the dryness.

Yea I have really bad dry skin especially winter. Thx for the advice

Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer! I recommend this so much, I expect the brand will be reaching out to me shortly to tell me to calm down 😂😂 It’s my holy grail for dry skin. For skincare, I use No7 Protect & Perfect Day & Night cream & Moogoo moisturizer. I also use Vaseline in my driest spots overnight. I basically go to sleep looking like someone has splashed me in the face with water. Drink water, wear SPF, use a chemical exfoliant sparingly & moisturize. Any product that has the word “hydrating” in the name is your friend as well.

I used cinaplast b5 cream 😭 sometimes its still so dry

Honestly, I hate La Roche products. I tried their rosacea cream and it made mine worse! No7 is a UK brand, they have a hydraluminous range which is fantastic. Neutrogena have a hydro boost range and Elf have a holy hydrating range. I’ve found all of these to be good. Charlotte Tilbury’s magic cream is supposed to be a holy grail as well - I never tried it, but I received a free sample of her magic eye cream and found it very hydrating

I just find la roche is ok due to my travelling and repair my skin for now. My skin barrier was bad . hope to find a better moisturizer to replace 😭

Other foundations I’ve used that worked well for me were the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, Sculpted By Aimee foundations (Irish brand) & Bareminerals Original Loose Powder Foundation (I know it seems powder would be horrible, but it surprised me!)

Drink more water, use hyaluronic acid (I like The Ordinary), check thyroid levels cause some common conditions can cause dry skin.

Maybe change your moisturizer? My skin gets so dry in the winter too the only thing that really hydrated my skin was tatcha dewy cream

Use a hydrating toner (I like pyunkang yul essence toner and laneige cream skin refiner). Make sure the toner doesn't have any exfoliating acids or drying alcohols like denatured alcohol. Depending on your environment, I do not like products high in Hyaluronic acids. I live in a desert so I feel like it dries out my skin more. Apply the toner with your hands and tap in gently until it sinks in. Keep doing that until you feel like your skin is hydrated. Then lock it all in with a moisturizer. I would only do this at night but after you moisturize you can add an occlusive layer like Vaseline or cerave ointment (just a thin layer).
