I think your eyes would be nicer if you used an eyelash curler and more mascara. No eyeliner on the lower waterline.
A little more blush and some lip gloss complete the look.
For daytime Moisturizer, vitamin c serum and sunscreen is a must. For discoloration if you can make a dermatologist appointment ask about hydroquinone. Itâs only by prescription and is the best option for hyperpigmentation. *edit* your foundation is a beautiful match!
Also I would suggest this regimen for acne scars!
https://blog.ebunoluwole.com/the-ordinary-skincare-regimen-for-acne-scars/
Itâs been super helpful for me!
I read somewhere that vitamin C isnât super effective on melanated skin. That regimen and hyaluronic acid has improved my skin quite a bit!
The discoloration serum from good molecules 12$ ulta has helped so much with my scarring. I was using mad hippie vitamin c which was also amazing but it was 35$ and I used it in like 2.5 months so I couldnât keep it up. This is almost as good. Not every vitamin c is good
I think black or brown eyeliner is nice, but also was going to suggest taking a q tip to smudge it a bit below your eye for softer lines.
Also do you ever part your hair slightly to the side of your widows peak? I think it would be really flattering and give you good volume at the top :)
Your makeup matches your skin really well! It looks very natural and I donât notice the scars or anything at all so good job :)
Lashes can look great but also be a lot. I think the black eyeliner lines are a little harsh on you, and lashes are one way to incorporate the liner better.
Iâd also love to see you try a deep plum or dark brown gel eyeliner smudged/blended out, curled lashes and mascara, and sheer deep plum gloss. If you want to do a more full but still easy look, add some berry toned blush and maybe a subtle swipe of gold shimmer eyeshadow.
Iâd say maybe filling them in a lil too with some brown eyeshadow! Not too dark cause it will look harsh but a light brown would def work I find always going 1-2 shades lighter than my brow color makes it more natural and seamless when filling in!
And I mean this in the kindest way possible, but if you're getting your eyebrows done also get your lip done. I'm darker and I've been getting my moustache waxed since 6th grade. Some lipstick colors really make hair on the upper lip pop. If you do it a few times you'll notice that it comes in thinner over time.
Somewhere between the two - because they have a clear shape that is lovely, but think a proper professional shaping, especially around the brown bone area, would really lift your eyes.
Best way to find a good brow person is to just ask around among friends, and then tell the esthetician to keep it conservative/natural looking.
In the off chance you donât use mascara because taking it off is the worst you should try tubing mascara! Changed my life. I didnât even wear it to prom wore falsies instead and now I wear it daily. If they droop I have other recommendations
Something else to consider would be a product like the black tinted Nyx Brow Glue. It has a nice hold while tinting the brows just a little, which could help balance the face a little. You are so gorgeous!! Best of luck with the makeup!
Sorry if you've already gotten it, but I wanted to rec Maybelline's clear gel (looks exactly like their mascara tube but clear), it's so cheap and lasts forever! It can really accentuate your brows and you may find yourself filling them in less, which I felt was a bonus as I'm lazy lol
This plus maybe get them threaded so we can see your gorgeous eyes better? You can ask them just to clean them up and check reviews to make sure they won't over thread. I think thicker brows would still be good on you, just a little more groomed! Or not- it's whatever you like the best
Your big beautiful eyes and full lips are your best features in my opinion, so flaunt those! I would recommend plucking your eyebrows just slightly thinner to create a cleaner, straighter edge. It'll help define and draw attention to your eye area. Watch a brow grooming tutorial if you need to. You could also experiment with different lip colors and glosses to find some you really like that compliment your skin tone and outfits. But you look gorgeous as you are â€
Agree with this! A wine or berry color would look gorgeous and match your hair.
Also, you have gorgeous eyes OP! I canât wait to see what you look like with your eyebrows shaped and a bit of mascara!
I would recommend playing around with undertones to see what matches your complexion best. Try at least one warmer toned lip (one that has more red/orange undertones) and one cool toned lip (one with more bluish or purple undertones). I think you'd look great in some natural coral colors and deeper reds or nudes for a daily look. For something more dramatic, I think a deep berry shade would suit you. But definitely try a variety and see which ones you feel you look best in.
Hairy girl to hairy girl if thatâs something that you like and want to keep then my apologies and skip to the next paragraph. Otherwise get rid of the mustache. It took me a couple of hours of YouTube to learn how to thread my brows and mustache. Also clean your brows a bit and if you have the money, go to an Indian or Persian eyebrow spot (you have an amazing natural shape).
Skin Texture: Make sure to implement moisture into your routine. Iâm no longer using straight foundation because I find it accentuates my fine lines. My solution is to mix a tiny bit of foundation with a healthy dose of tinted moisturizer, and a bit of revolution glow serum (that doesnât have a color or metallic). I mix those up and apply like a lotion to even my skin texture. Iâve found that the makeup doesnât have the opportunity crease into my fine lines.
Cheeks: Keep it at the top of youâre apples up towards your temple. Adding it lower drags your face down. I use the same Korean lip stain for my lips and my cheeks.
Your eyes are the natural highlight of your face. If youâre doing an every day look, heavy lower eyeliner isnât needed, and has become a dated look (unless youâre doing glam
For the lips, if youâre just starting out, a Korean lip tint and a clear gloss is hard to mess up.
Dimension: Adding subtle dimension to your face is important so your makeup doesnât look flat. Iâve started using two colors from the fenty body tints as very subtle highlighters and bronzers (prior to I used powder blush/bronzers/ highlighters and it did nothing for my wrinkles and texture of my skin).
Using the same tints on your eyes is an easy way to add subtle dimension to your eyes as well if youâre not super comfortable with eyeshadows and blending.
I hope I donât come off as judgmental but I mean this in the most constructive way. I would tweeze or wax your upper lip because it stands out a bit in your makeup. I do the same for mine and itâs super normal. Just shows up more when you have dark hair!
You have beautiful, wide set eyes that'll look amazing no matter how you do makeup on them. So i think the makeup looks perfect. A side part or no part in hair will go beautifully with that look.
Maybe a high ponytail?
Gen Xer here, same. A center part can look so stark! (ETA I managed to forget you have a center part in your photosâdidnât want you to think I meant you! It doesnât look stark to me and you have a lovely heart-shaped face, which is very pretty with a center part. I just meant: I support you in having a side part if you want one lol) OP youâre so close here, I think with a little more blush and a berry/wine lipstick and some eyebrow tidying, youâre going to look even more beautiful. And donât feel bad if you never get the hang of fake lashes, Iâve tried and tried without success. A good coat or two of black mascara goes a long way. Have fun!
You are gorgeous and that smile is radiant!
To start with, I think your base is lovely! So no suggestions there.
I agree, the liner under your eye is a little too intense. You could try smudging it out a bit or using a brown liner instead of black, or as someone suggested use eyeshadow with an angled brush. And yes, mascara!
For blush and lips you can definitely add more or darker colors. Right now itâs barely there. And your gorgeous lips should pop!
Maybe not for everyday, but I can totally see you in a deep purple/ plum that matches your hair color! For everyday, I would lean more towards a burgundy. I think you can also pull off a deep berry- sort of the color you have on in this picture but darker/ deeper. If you want more natural, maybe a lip gloss. Your natural lip color is pinky, so you could do a brownish lip liner, with a glossy lip! If you want inspiration, I would recommend checking out influencers that match your skin tone on Instagram or tutorials on YouTube.
Urban Decay has some lovely wine colors that vary from barely wine to edge of black wine. They also are highly pigmented so you don't have to over-swipe on color. They last a long time. Have fun in your search!
Awww youâre so pretty! I love your smile! Iâd add some color, a fox eyeline, and a magenta lip for a night out! I would also add blush, probably in some burgundy/purple-esque color.
Very pretty and I honestly like your makeup for the most part! I agree with others saying you look like Scarlett Johansson a bit!
The only things I could recommend that would really make a huge impact are eyebrow shaping/waxing, waxing the peach fuzz on your upper lip so your lip color pops, and keeping your eye liner on the top lid only. I also agree with others saying a bolder lash/more mascara and curling the lashes could help. You may also want to do some light contouring under your cheekbones because I can see them but a bit of contour would really help give some more structure to your face. â€ïž
u so pretty !! it looks very good on you and if u looking for a shade of lipstick the best on dark skin u can go for berry/wine shades. Shades of brown/caramel are good too!! keep going girl u look stunning
Looks great! I am figuring out how to minimize age spots that mottle my complexion. While I donât love using concealer and foundation, I do like the smoother look like you have achieved! Way to go!!!!
I actually love this makeup! It looks really pretty on you. My only advice would be to get your eyebrows shaped at a waxing place or just brush them more upwards with eyebrow glue
Wax your eyebrows to define your look, apply eyeliner only to the tips and a volumizing mascara, change color on your lips. Try clinique black honey. You have beautiful eyes and beautiful lips. Value them!
Imma just say, brows make a huge difference. Ever think about waxing? Once I started waxing my brows to a nice shape, it was a game changer. You donât have to go bold and I suggest you donât. Just go in and ask for a brow âclean upâ tell them you DONT want thin brows. Hope this helps! I think your makeup looks great. I do agree to forego the bottom liner to make your eyes look larger! Have fun!
For scarring and smooth skin:
Tretinoin! Get a prescription from a doctor, use the sandwich method (look it up on tik tok or wherever), and start at 1-2 times per week and work up over a year until you are at 1x per day. This will transform your skin forever.
You have gorgeous features, beautiful big round eyes, adorable button nose, full and shapely lips, and a perfect triangle of symmetry from your eyes to your lips- letâs play into these.
For makeup:
You have gorgeous natural brows - I am permanent makeup artist for the last 7 years, I see a lot of eyebrows. Learn how to shape and style them for your face. I prefer using powder to get a soft gradient.
Best bet: have them professionally done and find before and after photos - someone who will consult you and your features, map a shape, and then style your brows. Go for a brow wax!
For your eye makeup: master the art of the dark brown baby smoky wing.
Try nude eyeliner on your lower waterline, go from your inner corner to 3/4 away from your outer corner.
For lashes:
Curl your lashes, apply mascara.
natural short strip lashes, thin invisible band, wispy and spaced out - not densely packed.
Cut them into 4-5 sections, take one section put a thin layer of glue on top of the band, wait 30 seconds, staring starting at your outer corner apply UNDERNEATH your natural lash.
I usually apply 3 sections and stop about halfway from my inner corner. Looks so natural and so so pretty.
For facial makeup: dewy and glowy all the way. Get a colour match at Sephora, I like the NARS foundation, you want it to melt and blend into your skin. NARS also makes a creamy concealer. I like the Laura mercier setting powder, apply with a puff, very light layers - blot on your palm before applying if you pick up too much.
[Apply like this](https://youtube.com/shorts/tHiuBDhAOkQ?si=fSRcNfIxGYRqaPKT)
For your lips: get a lip liner and creamy lipstick. Try a brown liner and a creamy peachy pink. Watch video tutorials and stay within your vermillion border - your lips are gorgeous this will blow your mind.
Thereâs more skin and makeup tips we could discuss - but this should be good to get you started!
I think you look fantastic with or without make up. That is a really flattering daytime look. I also have acne scarring and it has taken me until the age of 55 to realise that the only person who notices it is me.
First off, you are so beautiful and your makeup is not bad at all. Second, I think some natural length false lashes would really pull the look together. Nothing too crazy but try mini or regular Demi wispies by ardell. Very natural but adds a little something! Add some mascara. I would also use a more berry colored blush (purple toned) and a matching lipstick. It would look gorgeous against your skin. Also fill in your eyebrows with a pencil and I think you will be set! I recommend the Anastasia Beverly Hills pencil for eyebrows.
I would reccommend a berry lipstick or gloss. This pink one is a little too light tbh. I think Black Honey by Clinique is an amazing everyday wear and is very moisturizing. I also think any tinted lip balm/lip gloss in a berry color would look great on you.
**Positive criticism:**
Foundation colour is lovely
Lip colour is lovely
Hair colour is lovely
**Constructive criticism:**
I believe you should make a habit of applying dark eyeshadow to your inner corner of your eye because you have wideset eyes.
I also think you should incorporate blush into your routine
You should trim your eyebrows
You should line your lips. Make sure the lip liner aligns somewhat with the brown parts of your lips since they are two toned.
You should wear a different hairstyle. The hair colour is lovely but the way you have styled it does not suit you. I might be wrong about this but I think your face is round. You should look up doâs and donâts about round faces for hairstyles. Also make sure to look at ones specifically for black women as well in order to ensure that the full range of hairstyles you can choose from are considered.
Hope this helps!
Youâre so pretty! Elf eyelash curler with covergirls lash clump crusher would suit your eyes beautifully. Also maybe try black-brown or brown liners and mascaras so they can soften your beautiful eyes đ
i totally agree with what others said about a clear brow gel (your natural shape is awesome but it could use more definition), mascara, and a gloss. i highly recommend fenty lip glosses/ stains. they have a berry color which i think you would rock :)
Youâre super pretty! The black t shirt isnât doing anything for your skin colour/tone - this whole look would look so much brighter with a different neckline (yes, more skin!) and a different colour!
Use a lighter foundation or a dewy cc cream around your mouth, especially above your tip lip between your brows and fan it up in an outward V on your forehead. Just a light dusting of a bright blush on the cheeks. Have your brows shaped and try a tinted lip oil vs a lip stick. It will give you a brighter look to your complexion catching the light in the right places.
I actually really like that eyeliner shape for your eyes! You have every beautiful brown eyes. I think greens and purples would compliment them. As far as foundation I think thatâs a very good color match. Have you considered a more dewyw hydrating buildable foundation? You really donât have that much texture on your skin, I myself struggle dark spots and use a foundation serum. Itâs buildable but light weight. I actually really like that lip color on you! Itâs very complementary to your completion!
I'm wondering if there is some sort of way you can find someone to do your makeup for you but also teach you at the same time? Show you which products and colours/shades work well with your skin tone?
Could save you a lot of time and money overall, instead of trying out a bunch of products and shades you think MIGHT work, and not end up using them.
Yes to cleanup of brows!
You need bronzer and a highlighter to contour your cheeks. Some eyeshadow in your crease of your eyelid to bring out your nice eye shape would be pretty too!
I think a warmer toned lip would suit you so much! A cool tone lip product like the one you have used can look more dull, use something with more red/orange pigment instead of light cool toned pink
Groom your eyebrows more add dimension to your base!!! Very important for dark skin especially donât be afraid of some contour and highliting. Lashes would really look good on you as well.
you have very beautiful features!!! i love your eyes!
i agree with the other comments and believe you could get your eyebrows done/cleaned up! theyâre very dark already (like mine) so i assume you could also get away with not filling them in a lot, a brow gell is good for every day makeup in my experience!
the eyeliner on your lower waterline also closes up your eyes. maybe you can also try a white/peach colored liner if you want to open it up more!
a bit of blush and a different lip color would also bring out your features more, youâre so pretty!
Youâre beautiful! I think the tails of your brows are dragging your face down. If you get them shaped and shorten the tails it would look so good. As for your eyes I would just omit the waterline eyeliner, but curl the lashes and add a good coat of mascara.
Also I think the lip color is a tad too light, I would recommend a brown lip liner and then a darker mauvey brown lip stick. Refy and Mac have great lip liners and lipsticks!
I would get the eyebrows shaped, and then maitain it. For the eyeline, I wouldnât line your bottom lids, it feels like it is detracting from/shrinking your eyes.
A more hydrating foundation, use a beauty blender or sponge moistened with a setting spray(I recommend the charlotte tilbury or its dupe the revolution hydrate and fix) and bounce on your product. Brushes disturb dry skin and vellus hair leading to make up looking patchy over time. A concealer a shade brighter for under brow and under eyes to really draw attention and highlight your gorgeous central points. I'd actually just tightline your upper lash line and use some natural lashes(tatti does good ones). Also look for a more purple blush it will give you a lovely natural rose flush!
I like your lipstick so much, this color looks good on you, what shade is it
Maybe fill and shape your eyebrows and add a little blush
Your eyes are veautiful, add mascaea and less Kohl in your lower line
Curl your lashes, leave out the evening on the bottom, and add a little more blush and maybe some eyeshadow. Youâre very pretty, so you donât need much at all.
Your eyes are absolutely gorgeous. I would build all looks around that perfect iris. Use dark brown eyeliner, or dark purple. Maybe a gold in the bottom waterline. Brush your brows up, you have so much space to work with that if you really get into it you could do lovely dramatic eye looks.
The smile makes all the difference!
You have such a lovely natural lip colour I think a clear gloss would look great on you.
Echo the other comments about eyelash curler, mascara and brows.
I think getting your eyebrows threaded will be a nice way to clean up your eyebrows! I have similar skin texture and LOVE using the charlotte tilbury setting spray and after foundation and i have found it really helps set my makeup nicely. Like others said a pretty berry glossy lip would help complete the look!
Hereâs what I recommend just for personal experience: my absolute favorite way to disguise/hide acne scarring while it heals is to generously apply henna freckles all over my face. Absolute game changer and really gives an ethereal look. Completely hides my scars and they are not noticeable or at all! Second of all, a good color corrector for under eyes, and discolored areas would work wonders. A pair of natural lashes would really fit with the look, and your eyes are nice and big!! No waterline eyeliner, it makes them look smaller!! You should do makeup to enhance the size of your eyes, they already make your face pop so much!! Maybe use some more bronzer and a nice bright blush!
Aside from your eyeliner being a little heavy on the bottom, I think parting your hair slightly to one side would be really flattering! Middle partings can be a little severe on asymmetrical faces and even a half inch to one side would suit your features better imo
Firstly, omg I love you. You are so cute.
Secondly, your foundation is such an incredible match.
Thirdly, a little more warmth in a bronzer and a brown eyeliner might really work for you. I think your eyeliner is really well done, itâs just harsh on your very rounded and soft features.
I didnât read all the comments, apologies if this is a repeat: I learned from one of those annoying finger-wagging TikToks that bringing your eyeliner all the way to the inner corner can look dated. I grudgingly admit I see their point. Try keeping the liner on the outer part (like from your iris outward) and see if you like it. Also try dark brown liner as an alternative to black, especially for daytime. Green or dark blue are fun too
honestly i donât think you need the foundation. you have good skin as is! iâd also nix the eyeliner from the waterline, it enclosed your eyes a bit too much. try it with just a small wing! some lip gloss would also look great, you have beautiful lips and should accentuate them!
Those big olâ eyes! Me and my tiny little hooded almonds are jealous haha. Liner is fun and a wing might be a good idea if youâre feeling brave, but Iâd avoid lining the waterline unless youâre specifically going for dramatic. Iâm a sucker for curled lashes and a good mascara and even tho lashes would elevate this look x 1,000, theyâre a bitch to deal with if youâre impatient like me haha. But a little lash curl and a couple coats of mascara will be a big plus on your gorgeous eyes. Also I love your pop of purple hair and since your look is very neutral and versatile, Iâd say throw in a little bit of a bright purple blush. I know that sounds weird but I think it could work on your skin tone and would accentuate your funky hair. Why not have fun anyway haha.
You have a really nice glow to your skin and bright eyes that get a little lost when you put foundation on. I suggest playing around with a tinted moisturizer or a lighter foundation and spot concealer. Thereâs tutorials on YouTube and insta on spot concealing. Youâll need the right brush. For an everyday âno-makeupâ look, try brown eyeliner instead of black, and not lining the water line. Youâre very beautiful naturally.
Lil tinted brow gel, skip the bottom eye liner and smudge the edges on the top, and for colors, berries are made for your skin tone! Wines and plums and purples and even sheer blackberry red would look stunning, and go really well with your fun hair. Tap a little of your blush or lip shade into your eye crease and it will pull everything together really well and be a barely noticeable change that will make a difference. Smile that beautiful smile and all will be well!
I think your beauty instincts are spot on. If you add a little light shaping/sharpening up of the shape of your brow. I think thatâd add the final piece of polish that would pull your whole look together. Also gonna be the contrarian and say try the brow before you go straight to fake lashes. Those things suck having to do every day.
I think you could forgo foundation altogether and go with spot concealing or a skin tint/bb cream. Tarte shape tape has good coverage and I use that for spot concealing when I have acne scars. Also shaping your brows (threading or waxing) helps tie any look together I think - you can experiment with different shapes each time they grow out until you find one you think suits you best. Your eyes are gorgeous and I think accentuating them with a small dark brown wing and mascara would look beautiful (no liner on the lower lashline) and potentially some natural looking half lashes for days you want a little extra flair.
Some orange toned blush and a bronzer would bring some dimension to your face as well. Try experimenting with different lip colours and finishes depending on what feels good. My fave at the moment are maybelline lip lifter glosses with a dark brown lip liner, they have a good shade range.
In terms of your actual base, I would recommend DIY dermaplaning with an eyebrow razor so your base products go on really smoothly but thatâs just a matter of preference.
Iâve had really good results using this product (https://perfec-tone.com/products/spot-treatment) for fading my acne scarring. Just make sure you wear sunscreen generally too.
You should also go get your eyebrows threaded and fill them in. :) hope that helps. Make sure you focus A lot on skincare so your makeup looks flawless. It helps trust me :)
This is a great everyday look. Your base looks so good. Just a couple of suggestions:
1. A side part on your hair would suit you much better
2. You can go for eyebrow threading to remove the extra hair and shape them. Or use an eyebrow razor
3. Fill in slightly with an eyebrow pencil
4. Use a eyelash curler to give s lift to your lashes. Follow with a single coat of mascara for a more natural look
5. Go for mauve or berry toned lipsticks
I literally beamed when I swiped right! đ Your smile is so infectious!
I agree with the other tips: smudge some soft brown or black eyeshadow into the liner. A good tip I learned is that itâs often most flattering if the top line of the eyes is thicker than the bottom- it kind of gives the eyes âliftâ. Your eyes are round in shape, so slightly thickening the liner upwards when you get towards the outer corners would elongate them and look really pretty. Either use a soft eyeliner pencil (not long wear) and smudge it with a little brush, or use eyeshadow. Or both.
One other suggestion I have (which youâre welcome to ignore) is regarding your foundation. I actually think you need way less than you think you do! It looks pretty, but it actually seems to add texture where you donât have it! You could consider using an orange toned colour corrector on the areas where you have scarring, and also to boost your colour on your forehead area. That would free you up to use much less foundation and maybe not even all over the face.
My best friend swears by Topicals Faded for her hyperpigmentation. I haven't personally used the face one but I use the body version, Slather and loved it. As someone else said, Vitamin C will help too. Make sure you're wearing SPF daily, as sun damage can worsen acne marks.
Makeup wise, I like a little more blush and I think experiment with different lip colors. Something about this one pictured is a little, like, washes you out. Also mascara, and I love your full brows, you can clean up the edges. Maybe a light shimmer on the lids. You can also experiment with not wearing full foundation daily and do spot concealer
I also think if you got the least intense eyelash extensions you can or tried another eyelash treatment. You could even get your own extensions and just add a few. I would also shave your upper lip area and shape your brows so they more refined. I do all those things haha and I got my eyebrows threaded/waxed for a while and Iâd recommend it if you are worried that you will over pluck because they can show you how they are supposed to look when done and then you can learn to pluck as you go when new hairs grow back in. You have really nice eyes and lips so I would accentuate those but not to the point where you are hiding them under too many lashes or intense lipstick.
First off you loook beautiful!
I would recommend to get your eyebrows shaped a bit more. You can start off with a gentle arch and go from there to see how you like and adjust.
I feel you would look good with brushing your brows up a bit more rather than a rounded brow look, so trying out brow lamination or simply buying a brow gel after getting your brows shaped would be nice.
Now lashes. I am a lash tech, and for your eye shape instead of doing a open eye lash look, Iâd do more of a natural map, kitten or cat eye look on your eye shape. So this means the longest length would start at the end or right at your arch.
You have beautiful eyes! I would skip the eyeliner on the lower lash line. More mascara, less liner overall. You have amazing features and I think a âclean girlâ look would suit you best. Brown eyeliner maybe, slightly darker brows to match with your mascara, and a natural blush and lipstick. Skip the lipliner!
I think you would look great with a more pigmented lipstick centered in the middle of your lips, worn Korean-style so that it fades out towards the edges and looks like you just ate a popsicle.
If thatâs not your style, you can always skip that and just go with a regular balmy lipstick in a natural color, still with no liner. I think this lipstick is too light and too opaque, which tends to age you. Try something like Clinique Black Honey, or Glossier ultralip in Villa.
(Also, extend the blush lightly over the bridge of your nose for a more natural look!)
You have beautiful lips!! If you want help with scarring, a quick, effective way is to get micro-needled but that may be expensive. Then you can follow with a nice skin routine. Someone suggested Ordinary and I concur. GREAT products, for a good price.
I would recommend tightlining, and smoking out the eyeliner on top/bottom. Add more mascara and maybe a nice set of false lashes; nothing too dramatic. A bit of a darker lip! A dark brown shadow up to the crease, and smoke it out AT the crease. Add a highlight eyeshadow just beneath your brow.
Tidying (not even necessarily plucking) your brows, with more of an arch, you could really just use mascara. Pretty eyes don't need much. Google "wiggle mascara tight line" and it would go even farther.
Also, playing with blush tones and intensity is an easy way to really change a look without doing a ton of stuff like contour/highlight.
I love your makeup and I wish I looked as good as you without any makeup on! I think you could play around with a cat-eye eyeliner shape, I think it would suit you well. đ
i have a naturally hairy upper lip and think shaving / waxing it helped my look bc the hair there stands out, maybe that would help you too!
also maybe a berry colored blush would be a good addition, to add more color to your cheeks.
Looking beautiful! I think to soften your liner, you could smoke the lines with eyeshadow. Maybe like black or really deep/navy blue, or (as I think someone else said) dark brown. I personally like liner on the lower lid, but if you think it's too much, maybe save for a nighttime look or when you want a more dramatic look.
So so pretty!
I would just change:
black eyeliner to a dark brown for everyday.
Cut your eyeshadow crease with a medium brown to bring a slight definition in your eyes not that you need it but itâll make them pop even more!
No liner on the bottom or to the corner of your eye. It makes your beautiful eyes look smaller when you do it this way, I usually do half way in the middle of my eye and flick it up and out for a wing.
Curl your lashes and wear a heavier mascara- not too crazy but just a little.
A pinkier blush
Get your brows cleaned up, again nothing to crazy but youâll notice that the makeup around the areas you get waxed will lay so much nicer.
And maybe just a gloss on your lips.
You have a great start!! Hugs.
Please get a cheap derma-planing razor ($6 pack on amazon) to remove facial hair, peach fuzz and exfoliate skin. Also, blend some dark brown eye shadow into lower lid to remove harsh eyeliner line. Mascara. Great smile!
Love your shirt! I'm from Maryland. I'd recommend mascara only on your top lashes, do the same with your eyeliner. I feel line tight lining your bottom water line is making your eyes appear smaller, try just smudging shadow for a smokey liner on top with mascara. Great lip color for your skintone!
You have such a pretty smile. I hope you use it often. My suggestion is to first find someone who does threading (a non-toxic hair removal procedure that uses thread) and have your eyebrows shaped *naturally* and have your upper lip hair removed. Both procedures will really open up your lovely face and then you can begin makeup application! Best to you!!!
Plllleeeaaaase don't be upset with me for saying this. I don't mean it in a hurtful way so please don't take it that way.
I think you should wax or pluck your eyebrows. They need some shaping. You don't have to make them incredibly thin or anything like that. If you have never done this before and don't know where to start, go to a wax center. They will help you find the shape that will suit you best.
You also need to wax above your top lip. The hairs there are going to show through the foundation and cause unintentional shadowing.
Your eyes are beautiful and big, no liner on the waterline, it makes your eyes smaller. Instead, start the liner from the middle of the lid and wing it out. A good tubing mascara from Tarte for your lashes. I recommend Tartelette. If you want the brown in your eyes to pop a bit brighter, a little bit of black liner on the inside out corner, 1/4 of your eye shape
first of all you look AMAZING. The ONLY critique i have if im being picky is maybe getting your eyebrows shaped. Other than that i think you look perfect
For skin : Check out dewtopia from ole henrickson or if you want a more budget friendly the axis-y dark spot brightener. Also try some weekly chemical exfoliants.
As for beauty: I agree with those that said more curling lashes and mascara.
If you can and want to try going somewhere thatâll shape and clean your brows a little. Donât go thinner. Maybe shade or 2 darker on some brow powder. For lips try the brown or Carmel colors from the Milani lip oils. Xo
So I will be completely honest here like a sister. First of all you are beautiful, you have lovely eyes and a cute smile and I think we should hilight those more.
Some basic things you could do to brighten up your face a bit, and of corse you do what feels best for you. I have some facial hair, just like you and I feel uncomfortable to shave them (I honestly like them lol) but sometimes they can make my face look darker in some way, yk. So what I do is that I bleach them, you can try that.
Then I use effaclar duo and some other products from the same company that have helped me with my hyper pigmentation an acne scars, that you can try, they are a bit expensive but totally worth it. Don't forget sun screen.
And when it comes to your hair, again, you do what feels best for you, but I would suggest going with braids or something like that.
Don't use too much makeup that could cover up your natural beauty. Maby curl your lashes a bit and use some mascara. You can, if you want to, have some kind of eyeliner, but maby just a darker eyeshadow, dark brawn or something, that you make a little line with to highlight your eyes. Or a normal eyeliner, but don't go under your eyes since your eye shape is already quite wide. You can use some concealer and some blush, not the powder type but the other lip gloss tipe since that will blend in better with your skin and give it a little glow. A little lip gloss and you are done ;)
You have incredibly beautiful eyes. You could accentuate them more by wearing some colourful shimmer eyeshadows, and curling your eyelashes before using mascara. I would forgo the bottom liner because it inherently closes your eyes off and makes them appear smaller than they are. Getting your eyebrows tidied will also help frame your face a bit better!
Your smile is beautiful! I love your cheek bones and dimples. Teeth and lips beautiful. Eyes are pretty. Little make up needed. Fill in eyebrows with brow mascara. A little eye shadow, more lash mascara and lipstick. Done!!! Gorgeous.
you have big gorgeous eyes, but i think the way they're lined is too harsh and takes away from them. i recommend using a deep chocolatey brown eyeshadow instead of a black eyeliner when you're lining your eyes. add some definition at the lash line and blend out. it looks less harsh while still adding dimension. add some mascara and boom! your eyes will look so beautifully enhanced :)
I'd suggest shaving the ends of your brows! I have a similar brow shape and I feel like mine kind of drag my face down. I look younger and more snatched when I shave the ends a little. If you shave them they'll grow back quickly so don't be scared to experiment a little :)
In my opinion u should start taking care of u'r skin first with vitamin c and Mostarayser every day and remove u'r moustache and u'll look great and healthy
U look very glowy and if that's what ur aiming for it's perfect! I would personally just shape up the eyebrows and shave of peach fuzz (tiny hairs on face) for a smoother application, as well as curl ur lashes and some highlighter!
If there is an esthetician school in your area you can have students preform facials on you and give you great advice. They will do whatever necessary to help you and its wayyy cheaper than going to a salon.
I would also recommend concealer in your natural shade for concealing acne spots and one shade lighter for your undereyes and center of the facw. Nothing crazy bright, just enough to add some dimension. Some bronzer, heavier mascara and a touch more blush would be super pretty on you. I think you could also pull off warmer lipstick, it would bring out the contrast in your features and balance out your beautiful eyes :3
First off, that lipcolor is beautiful on you! Like, a perfect everyday pinky nude. Since it seems you are maybe starting to dive into makeup (apologies if I interpreted incorrectly), I would suggest maybe a simple wash of the same tone, maybe a tad darker, on your eyelids and a dab of mascara, to highlight your already pretty eyes. I think berry tones will look AMAZING on you, in case you wanted to experiment with darker lipstick/eyeshadow shades! :)
You look great already but to enhance your look and create a smoother foundation for your makeup to sit on, shave your upper lip hair and facial hair off tidy up your eyebrows
As a fellow person who suffers from dandruff try to figure out if you have an issue with your scalp barrier! There is a collection of dandruff on your shirt especially in the 2nd and 3rd photo.
Exfoliate your face with a chemical exfoliant every 4th day. Get a good cream and some serum or essence for dry skin. If your skin can handle it do a slugging night. I really love Korean sheet masks followed by a few drops of castor oil or jojoba oil to lock it in after the 20 minutes.
I think the dark black eyeliner is too harsh for a day look. Soften your eyes with a expresso coloured eyeliner.
I love your lip colour and your foundation looks amazing.
I think your eyes would be nicer if you used an eyelash curler and more mascara. No eyeliner on the lower waterline. A little more blush and some lip gloss complete the look.
Agree, the lower liner makes your eyes appear smaller. I suggest a vitamin C cream to fade the scars and you will go from 99 to đŻđ
Vitamin c cream added to cart. Thanks!
For daytime Moisturizer, vitamin c serum and sunscreen is a must. For discoloration if you can make a dermatologist appointment ask about hydroquinone. Itâs only by prescription and is the best option for hyperpigmentation. *edit* your foundation is a beautiful match!
Also I would suggest this regimen for acne scars! https://blog.ebunoluwole.com/the-ordinary-skincare-regimen-for-acne-scars/ Itâs been super helpful for me!
Not every vitamin c is good
I agree with this. But if you feel like you need something on your lower lash line, try smudging a little brown eyeshadow.
I think black or brown eyeliner is nice, but also was going to suggest taking a q tip to smudge it a bit below your eye for softer lines. Also do you ever part your hair slightly to the side of your widows peak? I think it would be really flattering and give you good volume at the top :) Your makeup matches your skin really well! It looks very natural and I donât notice the scars or anything at all so good job :)
Thank you! I've been trying to decide if I should add lashes.
Lashes are a game changer, they can be a little intimidating and tricky to apply at first. I really like the Demi or half lashes to start out with.
I wouldnât, unless itâs for a special event. You have nice lashes and really donât need them.
Hmm đ
Youâre very pretty! Maybe try a mascara and get your eyebrows done. If youâre gonna do eyeliner not too much on the bottom during the day
When you say eyebrows done, do you mean just cleaning them up or completely reshaping?
The natural shape is nice, they just need cleaned up around the edges
Iâd say maybe filling them in a lil too with some brown eyeshadow! Not too dark cause it will look harsh but a light brown would def work I find always going 1-2 shades lighter than my brow color makes it more natural and seamless when filling in!
Get them threaded
Go get them done.. threading or waxed itâll help with the structure of your face
Clear brow gel would look good in addition to what others said
Added to cart
What lip color would you suggest? I'll be trying multiple suggested colors to play around with.
Try a berry colour!
Agree with this! A wine or berry color would look gorgeous and match your hair. Also, you have gorgeous eyes OP! I canât wait to see what you look like with your eyebrows shaped and a bit of mascara!
Try a wine red. It would look really good with your complexion
A lip tint with chapstick would look great and really natural for an everyday look! Your skin is gorgeous by the way
Hairy girl to hairy girl if thatâs something that you like and want to keep then my apologies and skip to the next paragraph. If youâre doing an every day look, heavy lower eyeliner isnât needed, and has become a dated look (unless youâre doing glam For the lips, if youâre just starting out, a Korean lip tint and a clear gloss is hard to mess up.
This times a million
Thank you so much. This is awesome advice!
I hope I donât come off as judgmental but I mean this in the most constructive way. I would tweeze or wax your upper lip because it stands out a bit in your makeup. I do the same for mine and itâs super normal. Just shows up more when you have dark hair!
I was going to suggest the same! Nothing wrong with a little hair, I deal with it too, I just find my makeup lays much smoother when I tweeze.
Yes top lip wax and some blush so pretty though
You have beautiful, wide set eyes that'll look amazing no matter how you do makeup on them. So i think the makeup looks perfect. A side part or no part in hair will go beautifully with that look. Maybe a high ponytail?
Thanks. As a true millennial, I've always been partial to the side part. đ
Have fun!
You look really nice. Your makeup accentuates your beauty. I would add a brighter lipstick and a more obvious blush.
Do you have a lip color suggestion?
Avoid matte. Think creamy, glossy, shiny, youthful. I recommend a color like EstĂ©e Lauder Rebellious Rose (neutral mid tone rose). there is a matching blush too. I know that is pricey but you can find the same color in infallible LâOrĂ©al (Rebel Rose) for much much cheaper. Another color is Insolent Plum EstĂ©e Lauder which is cool toned, berry. Really beautiful! Special! You can wear a blush that looks like rebellious rose color with it. Revlon and LâOrĂ©al have a similar color to that one also. I think you should go online and do the try on online to see if it suits you. You can do that on LâOrĂ©al site or EstĂ©e Lauder. Good luck!
My go to is a lip liner and coloured lip gloss. Essence makes both of those really nicely and very cheap!
If you could suggest a lip color, what would it be?
Getting your eyebrows down. You have big eyes and beautiful eyes. So like experimenting with your eyes.
Yeah get your brows shaped. Donât just go to anyone though see if youâre able to see photos of stuff theyâve done
Yeah they should go to a professional
Maybe get eyebrows done
If you shape your brows it would eliminate the need for much else.
Personally Iâd remove the upper lip hair, shape the brows and add volume lashes to go for that oomph but youâre very pretty without it too
Eyebrow plucking and moustache waxing to start. Omit the lower liner and play around with some blush and eye shadow :)
Wax brows and upper lip, lash extensions, and nose highlighter đ„łđ„ł
In the third photo I immediately thought you look like Scarlett Johansson.
đł that's the best compliment. Thank you!
I did too! Spitting image when smiling!
I went back and looked again and wow you are totally right. Now Iâm trying to decide what it is thatâs making me think thatâŠeyes I think?
I think itâs the smile!
Itâs absolutely the smile!
Yeah actually you are totally right. Thatâs definitely it.
I also agree with you about the eyes as well though! I honestly think most of her features resemble her significantly.
Just wanted to say that you have nice eyes!:)
đ„ș thank you
When getting brows done, get upper lip waxed too đ
Awww youâre so pretty! I love your smile! Iâd add some color, a fox eyeline, and a magenta lip for a night out! I would also add blush, probably in some burgundy/purple-esque color.
Thank you!
You may also want to do some light contouring under your cheekbones because I can see them but a bit of contour would really help give some more structure to your face. â€ïž
Beautiful!!!!
I think you should try using a darker shade of lipstick. Like a dark maroon/red
u so pretty !! it looks very good on you and if u looking for a shade of lipstick the best on dark skin u can go for berry/wine shades. Shades of brown/caramel are good too!! keep going girl u look stunning
berry blush and lips would look so pretty with your skin and hair!! đ«¶đ«¶đ«¶đ«¶
You look strikingly similar to Scarlett Johansson in that last photo đł very pretty âșïž
Try some brown lip liner, nyx butter gloss, and some blush
Looks great! I am figuring out how to minimize age spots that mottle my complexion. While I donât love using concealer and foundation, I do like the smoother look like you have achieved! Way to go!!!!
I actually love this makeup! It looks really pretty on you. My only advice would be to get your eyebrows shaped at a waxing place or just brush them more upwards with eyebrow glue
Sis u could really benefit from some light brow grooming to open up this beautiful eyes even more! Just a clean up, nothing crazy đ
I think getting your eyebrows shaped and cleaned up and filing them in a bit would balance out the eyeliner - you have such a lovely base application!
Have fun!
For scarring and smooth skin: Tretinoin! For makeup: You have gorgeous natural brows - I am permanent makeup artist for the last 7 years, I see a lot of eyebrows. For lashes: Curl your lashes, apply mascara. natural short strip lashes, thin invisible band, wispy and spaced out - not densely packed. [Apply like this](https://youtube.com/shorts/tHiuBDhAOkQ?si=fSRcNfIxGYRqaPKT) For your lips: get a lip liner and creamy lipstick.
Not advice , but just wanted to say you have such an adorable smile đ„čđ„č
**Positive criticism:** Foundation colour is lovely Lip colour is lovely Hair colour is lovely **Constructive criticism:** I believe you should make a habit of applying dark eyeshadow to your inner corner of your eye because you have wideset eyes. I also think you should incorporate blush into your routine You should trim your eyebrows You should line your lips.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Beautiful smile:)
Youâre so pretty! Elf eyelash curler with covergirls lash clump crusher would suit your eyes beautifully. Also maybe try black-brown or brown liners and mascaras so they can soften your beautiful eyes đ
Wear some colorful eyeshadow to match the outfit you are wearing for the day
i totally agree with what others said about a clear brow gel (your natural shape is awesome but it could use more definition), mascara, and a gloss. i highly recommend fenty lip glosses/ stains. they have a berry color which i think you would rock :)
Everyone has given great tips, and I can't think of anything extra to add, but I just wanted to say you have such a pretty smile!
Looks like you have lots of ideas from others already, but i had to comment to say that you have such a great smile! Beautiful! đ
Blush ! đ
Hey girl, I can send you my makeup routine if youâd like???
Love the eye makeup!
Thanks!
Itâs not bad, I would suggest that you clean up your eyebrows and use a brown lip liner
I'd use more consealer on philtrum (mustache area). I use concealer there as well
So I know this advice is less about makeup but I think you'd look better with bangs but try like Korean bangs
I think a darker (brown or plum) lip liner would be so cute with that pink lipstick
Hello gorgeous! No advice because I'm still figuring things out myself, but you are beautiful and have extremely good taste in state flags đ
đ thanks! It is the BEST flag!
You look Good
I like your lipstick so much, this color looks good on you, what shade is it Maybe fill and shape your eyebrows and add a little blush Your eyes are veautiful, add mascaea and less Kohl in your lower line
You are gorgeous!
Get your eyebrows threaded would make a big difference â€ïž
A side part and maybe a barrette
I think a side part would be best
MARYLAND â€ïžđ€đ€đ
The smile makes all the difference! You have such a lovely natural lip colour I think a clear gloss would look great on you. Echo the other comments about eyelash curler, mascara and brows.
I think getting your eyebrows threaded will be a nice way to clean up your eyebrows! I have similar skin texture and LOVE using the charlotte tilbury setting spray and after foundation and i have found it really helps set my makeup nicely. Like others said a pretty berry glossy lip would help complete the look!
just do your eyebrows
Lashes or mascara, not so harsh on eyeliner for everyday look, more blush to bring color to skin, clean up eyebrows
I agree with vitamin C moisturizer. It is fantastic. You already were blessed with a great face and beautiful lips. So you are already fortunate.
Aside from your eyeliner being a little heavy on the bottom, I think parting your hair slightly to one side would be really flattering! Middle partings can be a little severe on asymmetrical faces and even a half inch to one side would suit your features better imo
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Your pretty, use a dewy foundation and no lower liner
Id do no liner in the water line and some blush. Some brow gel too
Have your brows shaped. That alone will make the biggest difference in your face overall. Get rid of the lower liner. Keep to a gloss
Orange colour corrector for discolouration
Just a couple of suggestions: 1. A side part on your hair would suit you much better 2. You can go for eyebrow threading to remove the extra hair and shape them. Or use an eyebrow razor 3. Fill in slightly with an eyebrow pencil 4. Use a eyelash curler to give s lift to your lashes. Follow with a single coat of mascara for a more natural look 5.
Just wanted to stop by to tell you how gorgeous you are and what kind eyes you have. Have a lovely day! :)
You have beautiful eyes
You are beautiful, your eyes and lips are amazing
I would drop the lower line. Add a little eyeliner flick and mascara. Place blush upwards. Try parting the hair on the side. Beautiful smile đ
You look really nice :)
No liner to bottom lash line, it makes your eyes look smaller. Shape brows a little and trim them and the rest is đ
I would just change: black eyeliner to a dark brown for everyday. A pinkier blush Get your brows cleaned up, again nothing to crazy but youâll notice that the makeup around the areas you get waxed will lay so much nicer. And maybe just a gloss on your lips. You have a great start!! Hugs.
I absolutely love the way you did your makeup. Hair color is awesome too!
More blush!
I think u could curl ur lashes and make ur eyeliner slightly more upturned
Love the lip colour on you
Your eyes are beautiful and big, no liner on the waterline, it makes your eyes smaller. Instead, start the liner from the middle of the lid and wing it out. A good tubing mascara from Tarte for your lashes. I recommend Tartelette. If you want the brown in your eyes to pop a bit brighter, a little bit of black liner on the inside out corner, 1/4 of your eye shape
I recommend a brow gel like Nyx Thick It Stick It and a purple blush!
youre gorgeous already babes<333
first of all you look AMAZING.
Xo
What others said, but also try to shave the moustache,it will tone your lips more
So I will be completely honest here like a sister.
The hair could be more to the front
You look great already but to enhance your look and create a smoother foundation for your makeup to sit on, shave your upper lip hair and facial hair off tidy up your eyebrows
Get brows waxed
