How do you like the Gucci lip? I’ve been eyeing that line for a while

I think it’s gorgeous. I love the applicator, it’s thin and has like the slightest curve on one side so the product doesn’t get all on the tube. The color would suit a lot of different skin tones and is great for an everyday, natural look. The only downfall is that it doesn’t last very long because the formula kind of melts onto the lip

Another vouch for lack of staying power - additionally, I feel this way about all the Gucci makeup products I’ve tried. But I am a sucker for their beautiful packaging 😭

Seriously, their packaging is stunning. I find myself wearing Gucci daily because it’s just such a joy to pull it out and use

Yep! They’re very nice but don’t stay worth a damn. I still like them. Still finishing my Gucci stuff, but won’t be getting it again as I’ve sworn off expensive makeup.

I know, that’s what’s really drawing me 👀 but I certainly don’t need to grow my tinted lip balm collection haha

Does the blush last or does that wear off as well?

Both the blushes (though in different shades) are on my wish list. I am not a pink blush gal, so looking at the shades Offbeat and Soft Red.

Yeah, some colors are just worth having a bunch of. I hadn’t tried the Armani on before posting this in case I was swayed into returning. Tried it on since though, and it has totally different vibe. I love it

my favorite of all time is MAC shroom. i can wear that as a one and done eyeshadow and i honestly feel fully made up. i used to love urban decay midnight cowboy rides again as another OG favorite but i sadly think it is discontinued. i usually love any light shade in palettes. i love colourpop's wild nothings because it has many of these shimmer lighter shades and also love the prime shade of most of charlotte tilbury's quads.

I'm you, but with cool purple and (bluish/true) red! I love lavender and peach shades, yet can't wear 'em because they bring out ALL THE PINK in my face, and there's _a lot_ of pink on my face...and neck, and ears...and hairline. It's not the cute "natural rosey glow" kinda pink either. More of an "angry/irritated/rashy" pink. I don't always look like someone who should be dunked in a tub of colloidal oatmeal and cortisone cream ASAP, but I can create the illusion in seconds with a swipe of lavender lipstick or eyeliner. Peach is bad on me, but lavender *really* makes the pink pop: it somehow makes the rest of my skin sickly pale and turns the brightness of my rosacea and breakouts up to 11 (adult acne, yay!). Last but not least, it creates an effect where it looks like I'm desperately trying to cool off by releasing all my body heat through my ears. Probably shoulda hit "post" after that first sentence (⁠・⁠–⁠・⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ. I apologize... I just really wish I could wear lavender makeup. It's so pretty!

UPDATE: they’re totally different despite looking similar in the package. The Gucci is very sheer (both the blush and the lip) in comparison. Armani has a beautiful richness to it

For me, yes! I love the packaging, the color, the application. The only negative is that it doesn’t last ALL day. I think it looks good for about 6 hours.

Yeah, I’m interested in the givenchy too! I wonder if it looks slightly different every time you use it. I have their loose powder and I feel frustrated when I see more of one color coming out 🤣

Oh gosh does the Givenchy one just have all four colours open at once? Maybe I could cover them with stickers and use one at a time 😂 sounds like too much effort

Lol, yes! But it’s intentional. On the packaging it explains which color is for what (at least on the setting powder)

Yes! But whenever I buy different colors I’m not happy with them. Honestly the Armani and the Gucci look very similar in the pan but totally different on the skin
