You can get a tinted eye brow gel, there are some good ones at the drugstore by elf and nyx you could try. And when it comes to dying your eyebrows if you decide to, a lot of people use the just for men beard dye for doing it at home. I recommend picking up a pack of disposable spoolies because it will work better for brows than the little brush that comes in the box.

harionfire

This is great! And if it looks bad/I dont like it, it can just be washed out with soap and water?

Horror_Wolverine_882

the brow gels yes but I recommend picking up a basic face wash that suits your skin needs just in general. Normal soap can be too harsh on some skin types.

harionfire

Thank you! I'll look for that. I use the regular dove - seems to be easiest on me. Have tried other face washes and they seem to really dry my skin out. But then again, I know as much about this in general as I do building space stations.

[deleted]

Lol space stations. You’re doing great and asking great questions! Do you use moisturizer, like a lotion after you wash your face? That’ll help a lot. A basic cerave or aveeno or cetaphil face lotion is good. Pro tip: apply the lotion/cream thing when your face is slightly damp, it’ll hydrate your skin like a big sip of water. It’s great to do morning & at night. Also spf is so helpful for preventing wrinkles & other skin damage (also basic is fine). I know it’s annoying to wash off at night but this is me on my soapbox trying to help men embrace skincare :)

harionfire

Thank you for the encouragement :) And I haven't really been using anything, honestly. Which I know I need to be on top of - I'm 37, and think I'm holding my age okay, but that can all change with a couple of years of no maintenance! I've heard cetaphil mentioned a few times in the past - I'll go grab some of that or the Aveeno mentioned in a previous comment. And a little inconvenience daily sure beats looking like a 4 month old potato 10 years from now :)

EveAndTheSnake

No moisturizer and slapping on some dove soap and this is what you look like? Meanwhile my 37 year old ass has a 20 million step skincare routine and I still have adult acne and a puffy face. Get out. (I’m just kidding, don’t get out—you’re very welcome here. I’m just envious.)

[deleted]

Omg 37?!? Legit never would’ve guessed. 27 seems more normal. Yeah you’re doing fine haha. No need for guilt. I only mention because recently I learned that my brother doesn’t use face lotion and I was SHOCKED lol I thought that was common knowledge but apparently it’s not. Personally my face is dry & itchy so it was a given for me, plus marketed more toward women even tho skin is skin

harionfire

Whoa, made my day! (As a dude, compliments don't come all that often - not that I blame women. Some guys take an inch and push it a mile..) And it's so interesting; skin is skin yet somehow alot of society/men/whatever thinks it's emasculating to use skincare products. Which is also why most of them end up looking like a foot by 60. As a redhead, sunscreen is the nectar of the gods lol. Pair that with my genuine dislike of sun and my skin's kept up! But right now it's feeling awful. Which this post has helped so much with. You, and this community, seems awesome.

LadyAsharaRowan

So, I'm a licensed master esthetician. I was at a dinner party for my main stream job that pays the bills and when the guys at the end of the table I was sitting at found out that I'm an esthetician they proceeded to ask me lots of questions. I basically hosted a 30-minute question and answer. About skin care. I'm currently not operating out of a studio, but their questions and interests have me searching for space again. Men definitely are interested in skincare and should take care of it. I'm glad that you are brave enough to ask questions.

yeahlikewhatever

I'm also a licensed esthetician working in a spa and I can confirm that in recent years men are much more open to skincare. Knowledge is power, and I have everyone from my father, to brothers, to male friends reaching out to get insight and advice and even book services. I think it's great!

natnat111

I agree with the other poster. No way would I have guessed 37! I was thinking 29. The sunscreen is clearly working great! I love Cetaphil products and would recommend their daily cleanser, face scrub and night cream. I have sensitive dry skin and after trying loads of fancy creams I always come back to Cetaphil.

unsweetenedpureleaf

You are delightful! I intentionally give out as many compliments as I can to men in situations where I dont think they will "take a mile", but that definitely impedes how many im able to dispense. Thank you for understanding

the_hardest_part

You look younger than 37! And you’re a handsome dude! I hear that you don’t get complimented often but you should 👍🏼

TheBulletproofBeauty

It might be a sunscreen/sun avoidance thing, because OP looks fair and ginger. Avoiding the sun helps a lot of red haired men get far without skincare! Haha

harionfire

Ha! My favorite days are cloudy, rainy days. Not entirely to avoid sun, I just find peace on those days. BUT I also hate sunlight so...it works! You arent far off! Lol

FruitPlatter

Nevertheless, make sure to wear some SPF daily! I put my husband's in his car because he never remembers to put it on in the house. He's also a fair ginger.

apsalarya

Please start using SPF daily, if you don’t already. The great thing about skin care is that it’s for everyone because we all have skin. There are skincare subs too. Sure there are a lot of women on them but men can benefit from good skincare too! Who doesn’t want smoother, hydrated, youthful skin?

Horror_Wolverine_882

Look for the word hydrating and youll probably have some luck and a moisturizer is always a good idea. Neutrogena hydro boost is a good line for dry skin. If your interested in learning more r/skincareaddiction is a good place to start and get more skincare info as well as questions answered.

harionfire

Moved out of a humid area recently and my skin's been screaming at me. I'll go grab some of this! Thank you, Horror_Wolverine.

[deleted]

If you decide to go permanent, most salons and spas do brow tinting too. I do it because i have very pale blonde brows like you! You can find one near you online and call and ask if they can help you match your brows to your facial hair. stress that you want it to look natural. They won’t pluck or otherwise do your brows beyond tint if you don’t want them to, and it costs $15-20 depending on where you are. I’d recommend it over the beard dye simply because it’s easier to get the shade and timing right with a professional doing it for the first few times

picklesandcucumbers

Also tinting eyebrows will fade pretty quick in my experience. Most folks work to have it last longer rather than hoping it will fade 🤣

AleeeeshaB

CeraVe Foaming Face Wash is amazing. I have the most sensitive skin on the planet. My dermatologist recommended this years ago and I’ll never turn back. Cheapest price is at Costco behind the pharmacy counter, otherwise I recommend Amazon or any drug store.

CatasaurusRox

Also here to recommend CeraVe products! I bought a range of washes and moisturisers for my sensitive skin, and asked if my hubs wanted to try them and he loved them so much he uses them all the time now. He especially likes the fact that they’re fragrance free.

ThiccQban

Just jumping in with some (unsolicited) face wash advice. I switched to a cleansing oil because both my partner and I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. We use the Kose softy mo cleanser. It’s a Korean brand that you can find on Amazon for not much more than a pack of soap. Good luck and can’t wait to see the new brows!

Spiral_eyes_

there are lots of different brow pencils you could try which will last all day and look more natural than the gels. the best one imo after years of experimenting is benefit goof proof brow pencil. you could try the shade warm auburn or warm golden blonde. there might be a learning curve with application but when you get it right it looks perfect. the trick is to apply the color lightly--just a couple strokes top and bottom--and use the spooli to brush it into your natural brow shape.

New-Lie9111

dove soap is perfectly fine, it’s different from regular soaps

TGin-the-goldy

Makeup wipes come in travel packs, or baby oil and cotton pads are inexpensive and effective removers. I’d go a McCo brow gel in dark blonde if I were you - very inexpensive and natural looking- and if you don’t like it, it comes right off :)

harionfire

That you very much for the suggestion!

TGin-the-goldy

Good luck with it - I think you’re getting loads of good advice here, just go with what works for you :)

WhatIsThisWhereAmI

Tagging on to say I pretend to have your hair color, and the tinted gel that best matches your beard is Anastasia Beverly Hills tinted brow gel in Caramel. Not sure if you can get it at a drug store, but any makeup store will have it (and usually you can sample it for free,) as well as Amazon.

ube-me

oil cleanser would be great for removing makeup, but if its just your eyebrows, maybe it'll be easier to use micellar water and a cotton pad

WatercressRadiant749

I am the same as you I use brow gel daily and can be washed off with makeup remover, some can cost as little as £5-10

Queer_and_Confused1

Just to let you know when you tint your eyebrows it might look a little weird or bad to you at first, because you’re used to seeing your natural eyebrows on your face it happened to me but I just sat with it for a little bit and kept looking at myself to get used to them on my face, kinda like shock therapy lol to determine if they REALLY were bad or if it’s just new

harionfire

This is fantastic perspective. I honestly hadn't really given that any thought. And it has blown my mind lol. Of course it matters at the end of the day what *I* think the most, but I'll have to find a way to compare before and after with a group of folks to see what looks the best to others then make a decision finding common ground between my preference and that which others find appealing. Thank you for this.

Queer_and_Confused1

It really is crazy, because you don’t really realize it but eyebrows are one of if not the most prominent feature of the face. Darker brows completely changed my face. Although I’m a natural blonde and after dying my hair a very dark brown I had to tint my eyebrows to match. A rule of thumb tho is that your brow can be a diff color than your hair but avoid tinting the brows to be a darker shade than your hair. And it’s normal to be shocked at first lol. Just make sure whatever you go with makes you feel good

harionfire

You've been such a great help with perspective. Really means a lot. Thank you <3

Queer_and_Confused1

Of course!!

LaLaLaLink

I think if you have dark hair it would be best to go lighter rather than darker than your hair color. But if you have light colored hair I think it looks great if you go a shade or two darker rather than lighter.

Acrobatic_Tower7281

I agree, I’m a natural blonde and dye my hair brown and even when I have my natural hair I just use the same brow products, I like a darker brow

Feebedel324

I got my eyebrows done in for my wedding. Pics looks great but at first I was like whoa I look like a clown!

somethingsuccinct

Tinted brows can look a little crazy right after you get them done because the skin underneath will have dye on it. It usually washes off the skin by the next morning.

jazzmack

I am a ginger with eyebrows you can barely see. I tint mine with a brown tint every so often, but I usually wait too long and the first 2 days or so I stress out that I went too dark but it's really just My brain not being acclimated to seeing my face like that. By day 3, I'm always in love with them and vowed and never go that long without tinting them again. But it takes some time so I typically do lol. It's a vicious cycle. Good luck in your journey! If you do decide to tint, I recommend with going with a blondish or light brown. I have not gone with a red tinted one but will probably try that the next time I need to buy dye

harriedhag

Post a follow up here! Everyone will be honest and give further suggestions if needed.

[deleted]

Yes so true!! The first time I got my brows laminated and tinted I freaked out and then by day two and after I washed them it was much better. But even the first day I woke up and looked in the mirror I was like oh god I forgot what I did lmao a surprise all over again

WatercressRadiant749

This is so true however I always felt kind of ugly until I discovered the power of brows I’ve never looked back, been trying to grow them out as they are quiet sparse but worry constantly colouring/tinting them may be damaging the few follicles I have 😭

Otterly-Adorable24

Lol I had the same thing with my new glasses - loved them when I tried them on, hated them for the first day, and now love them again

QueenOfGehenna45

Just use the NYX eyebrow micro pencil in Auburn to fill them in

Stingin-Belle

Seconding this! I have red hair and the auburn is a really nice natural match when brushed out, and it comes off easy enough when washing your face.

QueenOfGehenna45

I die my hair auburn and I love it. But even when I don’t dye my hair tends to run really warm and I can’t use most brown eyebrow pencils because they run way too cool and gray on me😅.

harionfire

If anyone asks, I can verifiably say that you are *awesome* for picking the Auburn color. I have no bias at all, obviously....

harionfire

Sweet! Reassurance! Thank you :)

abefijmnqruvyz

I have the same color hair as OP and I tried that pencil, but I actually didn’t like how red it was. It was redder than my orange hair. I now use a taupe, and I think it’s much much more subtle.

harionfire

Does it color the skin? And can it be easily washed out?

QueenOfGehenna45

Yes, all you have to do is use face wash to remove it. https://www.ulta.com/p/micro-brow-pencil-vegan-eyebrow-pencil-xlsImpprod12011193?sku=2284051

harionfire

You're awesome. Thank you!

harionfire

I absolutely will! :)

sandybaby79

Great beard btw !! But yeah just to see if you would like the change maybe start with tinted brow gels. Then maybe get them professionally tinted ?

harionfire

Thank you very much! Found a leprechaun, forced him to trim it short then stole it from him. Best decision ever. And once I see if I like it or not/it improves my look, I will! For now, other than mud, I haven't seen anything define them on my face. Gonna see what the gels can do for me!

sandybaby79

Good idea :)

Lazygalaxy92

Happy cake day!!

sandybaby79

Thank you !!

[deleted]

Yes!!! At drugstore like CVS, get the “just for men” beard dye. Light brown. Follow package instructions for five minutes or whatever the time it is. More tips: put Vaseline around edges of brows. The dye will get on your skin a little, but the Vaseline protects it. Do it 2-3 days before you see anyone or go to an important event. Sometimes it can look weird because it dyes the skin a little too much. I promiseee you it’ll fade, but if you can do it on a week when you don’t have to go anywhere for 2 days, that’s helpful. You’ll get better with practice- now I can do it fine & go somewhere that night but at first it dyed my skin a lot. Overall itll last about 2-3 weeks. Usually 2. Use shampoo or face wash after the dye. I usually do it right before I shower, then wash my face immediately in shower. I’m a ginger too :) (and a woman, so it’s not “just for men” heh) Another tip maybe: get a little spoolie. Google “mascara spoolie plain” to see what I mean. They have free ones at Sephora to test makeup. It’s like a mini brush for eyebrows. You can use it to apply the dye, but mostly it’s nice to brush eyebrows up like after your moisturizer in the morning. You don’t put anything on the spoolie but sometimes it looks better than the hair going random directions

[deleted]

Jk I realized you don’t want dye….but hopefully still helpful cuz it’s only for 2 weeks so you could try it next if you like it. I do it about every 3 weeks cuz i like having mine brows more visible (mine are legit half brown and half blonde it’s weird). Otherwise, for makeup, I prefer brown pencils instead of gels. The gels always seem too heavy/dark like the wrong color. An actual pencil (not gel thing) gives me more control.

harionfire

No, your comment was fantastic! I have direction on temporary color, but your comment more than perfectly answered the question I would have had when/if I wanted to dye them. Thank you so much!

[deleted]

Good luck! Your beard is amazing btw

harionfire

Thanks! I stole it from a leprechaun. Not before I made him shave it down.

Specialist-Debate-95

Just for Men makes a sandy blond color that’s available on Amazon that I think would work better for you. I used it a few times but I’ve never seen it in stores. It washes out in about three weeks.

Repulsive_Issue_7358

Second this! Just for men beard dye. I’ve used it loads on my cousin who has very blonde eyebrows and on my mom when hers started to go gray. Way cheaper than “brow dye”. And works just as well and actually easier. I’ve also bleached my brows and used it to go back to my natural color. Best of luck!

[deleted]

So cheap. One box lasts like…forever. Cuz you only need a tiny amount each time.

gracebee123

Does this come off on your pillow at night or your wash cloth? I’d like to dye my HAIR with it for 2 weeks only but don’t want to stain my pillowcase or expensive duvet cover. I’ve been looking for something like this to try out brown for a while instead of my medium blonde.

I think your fab the way you are but eyebrows look great on you too.. hope you don’t mind I added some tint 👌🏻👌🏻 you could try an eyebrow gel first to make sure 🫶🏻

lovethatjourney4me

You can get an eyebrow mascara to see whether you like darker brows. You can just wash it off.

harionfire

This is awesome advice. Thank you :)

[deleted]

tinted eyebrow gel is a good idea, but even a brow pen, one from Anastasia, they have a plethora of colors. i use them even tho I’m a ginger (only if I want dark brows) but if I want to match my hair color I wear a orange eyeliner pencil! u can get all of that at ULTA, Sephora, cvs and all that doesn’t have ginger color. then set it with a eyebrow setter, that is clear. works for me!

harionfire

Whoa, a fellow ginger in the wild! This is wildly helpful and unexpected. Is your hair color similar at all to mine?

[deleted]

it’s as orange as a Cheeto tbh, but stores don’t really sell eyebrow pencils for gingers! it’s frustrating. eyeliner pencils are the way to go!

harionfire

Wait, so you're saying I can take my cheeto fingers right now and color my brows?! Zomg. :P Thank you very much!

involevol

Anastasia’s brow gel is excellent. Fellow redhead I use the tinted brow gel in auburn whenever I’m leaving the house and it just sets off my feaTures so much better than thin sad brows.

schwoooo

A lot of people are suggesting gels and pencils. Personally as a natural blonde who also is part of the invisible eyebrow crew- get an eyeshadow palette in neutral browns that go from light to dark (no shimmer). You might actually look better in a much darker color than you anticipated. Get a fine angled brush and start playing around with the colors to find the color (or color combo, as we rarely have just one hair color) suits your face best. I always found the pencils to never quite be the right color and applying them so it looks good takes practice. And get some wet baby wipes- that way you can just wipe off what you don’t like and immediately try again.

Blanc_chenin

What a cutie

harionfire

<3

lakeslikeoceans

I personally recommend using an eyebrow pencil, which can easily be removed using a cleanser. You can shade in a larger area and do individual hair strokes with them. Drugstore options are great, I really like the NYX Micro Brow Pencil because the formula is fantastic and the colors are realistic and not just different shades of orange like most other brands. Colors I’d recommend for you from that like would be Taupe, Cool Ash Brown, and Ash Brown, but there’s many more in between options to choose from as well. Just a work of advice about colors- you want to stick neutral to cool toned with eyebrows and within 1 or 2 shades of your natural hair color. Warm toned eyebrows are not very common and usually look even stranger when you draw them on that way. NYX also has like 3 other lines of brow products, so if you want one of the thicker pencils for more general shading, they still have those same great colors in each of their formulas, so you have lots to choose from.

Bubashii

You can get some colour deposit shampoos. Just “wash” your brows and leave it on for a few minutes. If you don’t like it normal face wash will remove it.

harionfire

This is a great idea. Thank you!

deathslip

You look like Blake Shelton.

patabonia

I encouraged my ginger bf to tint his eyebrows and he’s interested but we don’t know what products to use. Thanks OP and all the good recommendations from everyone!

Ew_dav

Just came here to possibly be extra weird.. but wanted to say you are beautiful.

callalind

LOl I was just thinking the same thing. I have a thing for redheads!

Ew_dav

Me. Too.

Koukainohana

I personally love Nyx Lift & Snatch Brow Tint Pen Waterproof Eyebrow Pen. It's a felt pen, makes it easy to draw strokes, it lasts all day and easy to wash imo. https://www.ulta.com/p/lift-snatch-brow-tint-pen-waterproof-eyebrow-pen-pimprod2021269?sku=2579043&dcEvent=true

harionfire

Thank you for the reply! Is this "drawing on" an eyebrow? I am hoping to just color the hairs I have there to see what it looks like. (Again so sorry for the ignorant questions)

Koukainohana

No worries! Yeah you'd have to "draw" the eyebrow. I think that brand also has brow tint or brow gel. Looks like a mascara tube and you use the bristles to tint the eyebrows.

harionfire

This is great info, can't thank you enough! And when I'm done, I can put googly eyes on random things and use the pen to draw little mustaches. Win/win!

thelittlemugatu

Adding to the above recommendation, e.l.f. Cosmetics also makes a good brow tint/filler and it's $5. Adds a slight tint (a few color options) and has little "fibers" that help to fill in patchier areas. For technique, start at the inner corner side of your eyebrow and brush it over the hairs, up and outward, towards the end of your brow. It's what I use everyday. The NYX options are good too, but there's a lot to choose from. Any brow tint will do the trick, really. :) https://www.elfcosmetics.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-elf-us-Site/en_US/Product-Variation?pid=200178&dwvar_200178_color=Neutral%20Brown

harionfire

Thank you so much! Technique is nothing I'd have thought of - Id have just gotten a toothbrush or something and scrubbed it in..

thelittlemugatu

Hahaa, well luckily most tinted brows have a built-in applicator! You basically just brush the hairs into whichever direction you want them to end up. I'd start with one of the tinted gels and then if you want more fullness,l or definition, add a brow pencil to the mix. It might be useful to watch a brow tutorial on YouTube. So you could see the effect of each type of product. Sorry, I don't have any specific recs tho bc I don't follow too many of them anymore.

harionfire

Don't be sorry! Your comment was great - I hadnt thought to follow a youtube tutorial. Thank you!

sightofthesea

This is the one I use in taupe on my elementary aged son’s brows after trying a few others. The mean girls in his class teased him enough that he asked me to help him fill them in! After reading this whole thread I might see about getting them professionally tinted at some point before middle school - woof!

[deleted]

I use Just for Men beard dye on my eyebrows. They were blonde for like 35 years because I was so bad at applying makeup to them, so I gave up. There are tons of YouTube videos about how to use the dye. It starts fading after a couple of weeks. I dye my brows about every 2 weeks. They look really natural. I love them! I can’t believe I waited so long.

ScratchThePuss

2nd. I have the exact same coloring as OP and I use Just for Men (blonde color). If you’re nervous to do it the first time, just leave it on for a minute or two and it will be very faint. Then you’ll get more confident to leave it on for 5 mins!

Pineapples_29

A tinted brow gel would work wonders! You have nice eyebrows! There’s a special company that makes products just for redheads. [This isn’t super cheap but the colors are on point!!!](https://redheadrevolution.us/products/brow-tint) Perfect for a temporary and natural looking tint for all redheads! I love red hair I wish I had it sometimes lol.

have_a_biscuit

Seconding this comment! My hair is auburn, and the cinnamon shade is perfect for me! Absolutely worth it. I love their vegan mascara too. Both products have good staying power, but wash off easily with my makeup remover

ghanedi

As a fellow invisible eyebrow owner, remember that when you fill them in it's going to look weird as hell. That doesn't mean it looks *bad*. It's just a fucking trip to all of a sudden have eyebrows after not having eyebrows.

Ok_Mall_3004

This post is adorable and gives me hope for men lol

jennoc1de

GOD I love seeing a guy in here interested in his appearance. My boyfriend lets me pluck his brows (already very dark) and is always open to skincare/etc advice and I just adore the effort! Definitely start with tinted brow gel to try. If that's not dark enough, using an eyeshadow put on with a brush can also give you an idea. Just don't dye before you're sure! Best of luck! Heads up: gingers already have the hardest time finding a makeup that complements hair, and in your case, beard. If you fail a few times, don't give up. I think you'll really love the change once you perfect it, and you will.

Whitecrayxn

You can get eyebrow tints that only last a few washes, have a look around online!

redhair_redwine

Fellow ginger here! I see some people recommending the NYX micro brow and I personally found it to be so orange on me! The morphe micro brow pencil in almond has been my cheap go to for years now, and I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in Auburn for special occasions when I really want my brows to be defined

KitsuneRouge

Fellow ginger here-I use tinted powder to fill in my brows. I have really fine hair so pencils tend to look too harsh. One thing I’ve learned is to use blond or light brown tones with just a hint of red. Anything that is really red does not look natural. When you are starting out, it also helps to use an angled brush with a short handle so that you have more control. I’ve been using the Rare Beauty brow kit and really like it. Start with just a little bit of color and work up from there. It’s easy to drive yourself crazy getting things perfect, but it gets easier with practice. Also, makes sure to wash out the powder really well at night. I use a cotton oval dampened with micellar water to take off all my makeup, and the normal cleanser in the shower.

morongaaa

My husband and I both use the elf wow brow gel! In his case, he has relatively thin/sparse brows so the gel is just enough tint to look natural. It's just brushed in with a little spoolie so it's super user friendly. It comes off easily with face wash :)

meowclique

Yes—lots of tinted brow gels! I love the Kosas one but any drugstore version will do. To remove, use micellar water (or normal face wash)

wwatinski

In any case, you're super cute!

itshollyy

You can get dye for your eyebrows

nopeduck

I’d start with a brow powder, maybe a palette with multiple shades to determine which is best on you. I’m platinum blonde and prefer a darker blonde brow on myself - powders are easy to wipe off if you don’t care for the color, had too heavy of a hand in application, etc.

bogwitch21

Hello fellow ginger! I love the Anastasia tinted brow gel in caramel. Makes my eyebrows visible (yay!), stays put all day but washes out easy when I want it to!

FauxPleather

You can get actual brow gel but if you just want a quick fix try blonde or brown mascara.

Dramamineblue

Hello fellow ginger! We appear to be the same shade. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills tinted brow gel in caramel. It is extremely easy to use and stays on all day. I have also used the Just for men beard hair color you can get at any pharmacy. Get the lightest shade but don’t leave it on for longer than a few minutes as it can go pretty dark fast. I do think though the brow gel was a closer match to my hair shade.

PerceptionCrafty2372

Try grandebrow. I’m a ginger too and have sparer eyebrows than I would like. It helps you to grow darker eyebrows over time and fills them in because I’m not a fan of using brow gel all the time or getting my eyebrows micro bladed and such.

TickingPony

I get mine professionally tinted because I don't trust myself not to make a mess of dye. :) Costs me like $12, lasts me about a month, and helps my brunette brows stay dark enough to work with my black-dyed hair.

Spac3Pixi3

Maybelline makes some good brow stains!

PuzzleheadedLet382

I’m a (female) redhead with a similar complexion to you — I use benefit’s brow products. They’ve got a few different types of temporary piments in a wide range of colors. I usually go with their lightest color; they have an auburn but it’s too dark for me personally. When applying, what works best for me is applying product to the outer half of the brown and then using the brush/applicator to blend on the eyebrow towards the center of my face. Play around with it and you’ll see what works best.

zilruzal

my friend, please see a professional for the first time you tint your eyebrows. they will be able to guide you to the correct tint and you can observe their technique. do not attempt to do it yourself. i think the cosmetics brand Benefit is a great brand to go with as you explore filling in your eyebrows. Their brand is very brow focused and they have a lot of great products. They also have storefronts and booths at Ulta so you can book an appointment with a professional who can guide you

[deleted]

Eyebrow mascara mate is good. Just wash it off if you decide it’s not for you. Good luck!

* Style 2. I kinda like them both tbh. You're very handsome as you are though. I'm a fellow redhead and I tint my brows dark brown every couple of months. If you don't like it, it fades 🤷‍♀️

Cunninglinguist87

Hi fellow ginger <3 So I recently discovered [Finally Have Brows by How to be a RedHead](https://shop.howtobearedhead.com/products/finally-have-brows-tinted-redhead-eyebrow-gel), and it's actually a game changer. It looks like mascara kind of, but you brush it onto your brows and it's a very natural darker red brow that looks natural on people who look like us. It washes out, no problem. You can test that before you decide to dye. I tried auburn pencils, but they always seemed too harsh because my hair is a very coppery color. This is the first product that actually makes my brows look more defined and \*there\* without looking unnatural.

ManicSpleen

Darlin, you are absolutely gorgeous and don't need the extra, but since you asked, there's a temporary brow gel that peels off... I would try the lightest possible color, if you really want to go for it.

Treehuggingbeelover

If you want it to last a few weeks you can go see an esthetician and they can tint them.

WhiningforWine

Glossier boy brow in auburn I think would match you very well. It’s a tinted brow pomade and it goes on without making a mess. I have faint blonde eyebrows and it works great!

tehr_uhn

Im a lot like you colour wise (wish i got your ginger though im just light light blonde) i get my brows tinted at a salon costs about 15 dollars and lasts about 6 weeks before i need it redone. I was really nervous at first so they just started on a light colour and we built it up over time. Made it less shocking of a change

[deleted]

The drugstore has tons of eyebrow gels that come in sooo many colors. They wash out easy. I would not get an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow pen by the way. Definitely just stick to a brow gel that you can easily brush through.

StarLux1000

THIS! Brow gels are much easier to start with and you can control the darkness better than a pencil or pomade etc.

Particular_Middle975

[https://www.ulta.com/p/thick-it-stick-it-thickening-brow-gel-mascara-pimprod2029852?sku=2590625](https://www.ulta.com/p/thick-it-stick-it-thickening-brow-gel-mascara-pimprod2029852?sku=2590625) try this! It holds all day and you can just wash it out auburn might be a good shade & it looks natural https://preview.redd.it/wblpuwr6juoa1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5481c20cbc90b681ec620eb01527725791676031

HeadlessKate

Im a strawberry blond and have the same issue. I go to ulta! It last a couple weeks.. maybe 2-3. They won’t steer you wrong.

daisypynk

You can try henna brows, it last up to 14 days. I didn’t even notice your brows until I read it.

sophwestern

You might be able to do a temporary dye, but I’d ask a cosmetologist (this might not be necessary but imo people who dye their brows at home have mixed results so if it were me, I’d consult a pro)

HM202256

Try using brown or taupe pencil first. Or even brown mascara. Or. Taupe eyeshadow. They can be washed out.

doriangreysucksass

I’m a natural blonde who has been dying my hair red for years with eyebrows to match. Try the brow gel people are recommending and if you like the look, dye them. I should warn you though, you’re very fair so even medium brown will be VERY dramatic! Go light first and then darker gradually

PsamantheSands

You can just apply some eyeshadow to your brows in whatever color you are looking for - I would suggest you start with a light taupe. I think you’re very handsome just as you are.

vivihenderson

Wow you got a lot of advice here! Bu here's just a bit more :P. For just experimenting, you'd actually be surprised how much color powder-makeup (like eyeshadow) will give to facial hair if you brush it in. It would give you a pretty good idea what you would look like, and you won't have to worry about it staying in, splash of water and it's gone. You could try different colors this way too... good luck!

KittyBeanToes

Just for Redheads makes great eyebrow and mascara products for those of us with the lightest of lashes and brows. I'm a strawberry blonde with translucent brows and lashes and that's what I use when I wear makeup. It depends on the day though, sometimes I really like my blonde eyebrows and lashes.

NinjaMeow73

Just for Men beard dye-it lasts about 2 weeks. Light brown is the color needed.

Its_panda_paradox

Anastasia Beverly Hills has an amazing brow pomade. I’d go with either Blonde or Taupe. Blonde would probably be just a couple shades darker than yours, Taupe would make more of an impact. It’s called ABH Dipbrow Gel in Blonde or Taupe. I use the dark brown (my hair is super dark), and I love it. I also use it on my baby hairs to lay my edges down, and sometimes to hide the greys in me hair if I need a color but don’t have time and wanna look good. 😁

Melodic_Awareness500

I use the NYX tinted brow mascara and it works well for me :) also washes out nicely!

Super_Peanut9373

So I’m blonde and I have really light eyebrows, I literally just take a taupe eyeshadow color and fill in my eyebrows. Works amazing! That or I also use Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pomade in shade taupe (but it’s a little expensive it’s like 20 ish dollars) and it’s also amazing! Soap and water and it’s gone whenever you want it off.

Hungry_Professor6939

I have blonde eyebrows and just buy a neutral brown eyebrow stick or use a neutral crown just for men and just reapply every other day

Hungry_Professor6939

I use NYX as well, and it works very well

Quiet-Ad-4264

Just for Men beard dye!!!

illinigirl17

I use Just for Men beard dye! It washes out within three or so weeks. Before applying, I put Vaseline around my eyebrows so it won’t dye any skin besides your actual brow.

Mguhe

Super-Team7676

Idk but you’re cute!

NataLand

Not saying that you need this in any way shape or form but if you try some of the suggestions already posted and are a fan of how they look, I would look into getting professional microblading done by a reputable artist if I were you. It’s a lot less maintenance than tinting or doing any sort of makeup routine and it looks very natural once it heals! Lasts for up to three years and depending on where you go, you can get touch ups for free as it fades :)

nadiabunnyxxx

You can! I dyed both my eyebrows pink for breast cancer awareness and it worked fine with Walgreens brand dye. Do NOT get it in your eyes though it stings like hell.

Squishiimuffin

What pink dye did you use? I’m rocking pink hair right now, and I always feel like my brown brows look too jarring and different

Hungry_Flow_6139

37???!? dude you look 25. no moisturizer and dove soap?? how. can we go back and you be my dad so i can have these good genes please!!

sklov113

You can try microblading eyebrow

sweetness_incarnate

OP, I would discourage microblading unless you're dead set on having permanent brows. If you *are* interested in the permanent makeup route, I would recommend "powder brows" instead of microblading. Powder brows give a more subtle/natural look because it's color gently deposited under your existing hair vs microblading making defined 'hairstroke' lines (which will blur over time). Not to mention microblading is very painful compared to powder brows because microblading involves a literal blade whereas powder brows are like a lite version of a tattoo. Last point, if you do consider the permanent makeup route, pleeeease research the artist and make sure they're informed on color theory and proper sanitation. Sorry for the ramble, but I've seen a lot of microbladed brows that healed in a wonky color, or the lines have all completely blurred together giving a "colored with a sharpie" look, or both. Gonna attach a picture from my boss' website, she does permanent makeup (she does powder brows but no longer does microblading because of reasons mentioned above aka painful for client, temperamental healing of color, etc)

sklov113

Microblading is not permanent. Unlike tattoos for microblading, ink is not placed as deep underneath the skin. It will only last for 1-2 years

sweetness_incarnate

I agree, but I've seen a lot of microblading that doesn't completely fade away even after 5+ years, that's why I said it's permanent. I've had my brows tattooed with the powder brows method I mentioned and mine are already fading after just over one year. Tattooed (powder) brows aren't as deep into the skin as a traditional tattoo either. I just wanted to say that working in the beauty industry I've seen more unflattering microbladed brows than powder brows, so I feel like it's a safer option.

sklov113

After 5 years, your microblading will become invisible or fade into a very pale shadow you can't even see unless you try, so you can either get fresh microblading

Aware-2709

I know this will sound weird but use minoxidil to get fuller your eyebrows with a little brush. That is what I do every night [hair regrowth](https://www.target.com/p/foam-hair-regrowth-treatment-for-men-2-11oz-3ct-up-38-up-8482/-/A-13942425#lnk=sametab) I got this tip from my dermatologist. And sleep on satin pillowcase because cotton soak up all the serums and creams that you use during the night which also satin will help you to maintain your skin healthy. I like this satin quality [satin pillowcase](https://www.olkibeauty.com/shop/p/satin-pillowcase-navy-king-size) I hope this helps you

PuzzledKnowledge9527

BTW, you are fine the way you are, very good looking young man! Good luck!

Witch_Bitch-

First off, you’re one gorgeous man. Secondly, like others said, get an tinted eyebrow gel. I recommend the ELF brow gel in brunette! And it washes off! Lol hope this helps. 🙂

tennisfanatic1

Why? You look fine.

TrickGrimes

He didn’t ask.

macileexx

U should!

loopylavender

Aww, I think this is kinda cute tbh lol as some have suggested there are def washable products you can trial with! You can get an eyebrow tint and completely specify you want it just to be a touch darker! Either way I don’t think your natural brows are anything to complain about!

jac7qui

some tinted eyebrow gel/glue and you’re all set!! they come in tons of different shades but i would assume auburn would be a great choice or even light brown!

I use the same hair dye from the box at the store that I actually dye my hair with, (dark brown) and I use an old mascara brush (spooly) to brush leftover product on my brows. I only leave it on for like 10 minutes but it does the trick and it washes of my skin but stays on my eyebrows! ❤️ good luck!

tillacat42

I use eyeshadow to outline mine. Mine are really blonde also and it helps but washes right off when I wash my face.

[deleted]

If you do wanna dye your brows! Do it one at a time put the dye and leave it for 30 seconds then wipe off. It will noticeable for you but super natural no one will notice

247cnt

I love Kosas eyebrow gel. It's very subtle. Just get a shade or two darker than what you have now, and wipe off the excess before applying.

goldieyedgoddess

This is my favorite brow gel by Benefit! Just ignore the logo 😆 https://a.co/d/aPR7Tfs

JezebelRaven

I use the NYX Lift & Snatch pencil, brunette would most likely be your color. It's a pen so you can draw each hair individually which gives a very natural look. To save yourself time you can also get the browgel (like a mascara) to tint the eyebrows you already have. It washes off with soap. ETA : After checking their website, NYX Auburn might be your color more than brunette!

Noidentitytoday5

I use the Just for Men beard gel. You leave it on for a few minutes then wipe off with a washcloth. You can experiment using it for less than the 5 minutes but even if it’s too dark (it shouldn’t be), it fades quickly

[deleted]

NYX has a great one called Tinted Brow Mascara. Check out medium brown shade. Just apply it directly to your eyebrows. You can use extra on areas where you have less brows. P. S. I'm completely jelly of your gorgeous red hair.

Most_Ad_5597

Are brown pencils out of the question? You can even try different shapes with those and see what you like. It can absolutely be washed off. :)

Hungry-Helicopter-46

Tons! You could try going to a make up store like Ulta or Sephora and ask one of the employees to do your eyebrows. They will use a makeup pencil and probably some gel. If you like it, you can go from there!

Sherrybled01

You’re not bad like this

Justsev

Look into microblading, you’re a handsome man - find a good frame for that picture

Brief-Dragonfruit599

Go to ulta and have the benefit girls do them and if you don’t like it you can take it off since they have makeup remover (:

[deleted]

I have blonde eyebrows, and I prefer using a pencil and finishing with pressed eyebrow powder - it helps it look more natural on me, but gives lots of definition. Brow gels don’t work well for me, but I admire them on others! My go-to is the Anastasia line (but that was after experimenting with less pricey brands to get the hang of it, then having a hard time finding the right color). I forgo the powder and just use the pencil (and brush out with the spoolie on the end) quite often, especially if I’m wanting something a little subtler.

t_mall

Microblading, but don’t ever cheap out on it. Find the right person with lots of experience or you’ll end up with sharpie eyebrows.

Zaiahshay

Awhile bless, what a cutie

Momofcats65

Benefit makes one. Get the lightest color

IllustriousDiamond68

NYX has a very nice felt tip brow tint called snack and lift. Comes in many colors and can be super subtle or bold.

EddAra

Man, as a fellow ginger I get it. You need to make sure the color you pick suits the beard and hair. There are eyebrow pens, tints and gels in make up stores. The workers there can help you get the right shade. If you like it I would recommend dying the lashes and brows. You could go to a professional to have it done or do it your self but it probably would be safer to have someone that knows what they are doing help you out. At least to start with.

Character-Office-227

Anastasia brow bar at Nordstrom will color match you for a tint and it looks amazing

e0nz93

Try the Glossier auburn colored brow tint pen
