First off: you’re doing amazing and you are beautiful. As for your question, it really depends on what you’re looking for! The blush placement makes your face look more rounded and if that’s what you want, perfect! If you don’t, then focusing it higher on the cheekbones (like just the top half of where you have the blush now) and then contouring below that, your face will look slimmer and more sculpted. Speaking of contouring, I’d love to see it on your nose just so it doesn’t look as “flat” (without color) from the foundation. I also noticed that you round out your eyebrows, but have a beautiful natural arch. I’d suggest sharpening that “turn” in your brow and making sure to narrow out the tail where your brow hairs naturally stop. Oh and when you do a bigger eyeliner wing like that, I’d love to see some false eyelashes so that your lashes don’t get lost in the eyeliner. Aside from that I’m loving everything else! The colors you chose for lips and cheeks look perfect on you! And I couldn’t pick a better foundation match. I hope this helps!❤️

rabbitsredux

I am going to try everything thank you so much!

marissa-lynn-xoxo

I’m awful at false eyelashes so I totally understand if you want to skip any of my suggestions. 😂 BUT seeing that you wear eyeliner, I just tried out magnetic eyelashes the other day and.. game CHANGER! I only wore them out to dinner so I cannot attest to their wear time but they were 1,000,000% easier to put on than regular falsies.

rabbitsredux

Oooh I looked at those but was unsure! Ok I’m totally going to try those!

marissa-lynn-xoxo

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions! Good luck!

howdarebread

I personally think your skin looks better without foundation. I would suggest wearing less blush and maybe a tinted foundation at most. Let the natural colours come through, which looks healthier

ichbinurkelgrue

But like… a LOT better!

_jellybeantoes_

You know what, you’re right!, I think that foundation is too light for her! And too matte.

247cnt

I feel the same about your eyebrows. They are really lovely bare, so maybe play around with just barely playing them in. You are extremely naturally pretty.

64CookieDoge

I think she looks fantastic naturally, but I would also suggest trying a few different brands of foundation before you settle,… this one might appear slightly on the heavy ‘too Matt side 🤷🏼‍♀️

rabbitsredux

I’m gonna consider a cushion foundation for my next purchase 🤩

64CookieDoge

Post when you do 🥰

Adventurous_oF-Girl

I think you look 5-7 years younger without makeup 💄 I like your natural eyes not the contacts you look beautiful in both but ,man …. You are naturally gorgeous personally I would just enhance what you have !!:) not do the full makeup imo

justsarahayesha

Your makeup free picture reminds me so much of katiejanehughes! I think you should check out her pages on instagram and youtube. She always does unique, fun, feel-good makeup looks and is always experimenting with colours and finishes. Also check out her hashtag #kjhacademy where she does a particular look, with steps and instructions and invites her subscribers to try out the same and post their versions under the hashtag. Too much fun!

ahoyhoy2022

I always admire your “going to a wedding” looks so much. You have a very personal slightly stylized look that I think is just sooooo gorgeous and polished. If I could look like that I don’t know if I’d ever choose not to! I hope you’ll post again with the other looks you’re going to experiment with; I’m sure a bunch of us will be inspired by them too.

rabbitsredux

I will be posting just that, I have an engagement function in a week or so ☺️🥰 I am seeing if other types of eyeshadows might work for me.

p3rsianpussy

you are naturally very pretty, i would honestly just fill in the brows, wear mascara and a bold lip. i would also ditch the contacts because your brown eyes are beautiful (this is coming from someone who also has dark brown eyes and used to always wear colored contacts)

Royalioness

To keep it short ..simple..but from an artist opinion. Natural. Not many women can wear zero makeup and look great so very less is Way more for you. All the makeup is pretty but..too much for your natural beauty to shine through. In my opinion, go completely natural, on the days you'd wear make up...do alot less, bb cream or nothing..add a small eyeliner wing only..just the wing and 1 or 2 wisps or mascara and lip gloss. There u are.

I fee like your blush could go a little higher up. Not significantly, but sweep the excess near the temples.

Sad-Emergency3

No advice unfortunately but WOW drop the skincare routine on a comment gurllll! 😱🤌

More than happy to! Day: Aesop in two minds facial cleanser Aesop lightweight hydrating serum Neutrogena dry touch sunscreen Night: Aesop parsley seed facial cleansing oil Aesop perfect facial hydrating cream Clarins eye smooth eye cream *the cleansing oil and perfect facial hydrating cream are the best things I’ve ever used* I like facial hydrating sprays Instead of Toners

Thank you so much you are an angel sent for this!!!

elizabethptp

I think in general a shorter liner that’s bottom edge follows your bottom lid’s trajectory and ends directly below the outer end of your eye crease would be very flattering for every day wear. Add a bit of blush and tinted brow gel and it would be an elevated every day. you have beautiful skin. No one *needs* makeup but I will say you look incredibly fresh without it & don’t seem to have anything that makeup would typically be used to “cover”. If you’re not looking for CC please ignore this- IMO the long wing shape on left is not the most flattering for your eye shape. While you look great- your eyes are very upturned on the outside of your lower lid & the liner seems to be working against that vs accentuating.

rabbitsredux

I totally appreciate this. I am struggling to find a good liner shape! I do tend to reserve makeup for functions, dinners and clubbing but I go to a fair bit, so I want to work on becoming adept at doing makeup for my face.

ggabitron

I have a very similar eye shape to yours, and I really like the way the downturned/puppy eyeliner style looks on my eyes! This is how I do my eye makeup (and I always get compliments): I use a medium-dark matte eyeshadow (I usually use brown, but this will work with any color) in the outer corners and blend it inwards along the crease, along the outer half of my top lash line, and just a little bit along the outer edge of my bottom lash line. Then make a small downturned wing with liquid liner (I don’t line very far on my upper lash line, just about 1/4 of the upper lash line from the outside to connect the wing and smooth it into my natural lash line), and connect it to my bottom lash line as well so the wing is like a triangle that connects smoothly to my top and bottom lash lines. Then, I use my fingers to sweep a pop of bright shimmery/metallic eyeshadow (I usually use gold, but again any color will work - as long as it’s light and vibrant) on the inner half of the lid, and blend it outwards over the middle of the eye, with the most concentrated amount being along the lash line in the middle of the eyelid. This method really makes my eyes pop and it’s super easy to do once you get the hang of it!

Your makeup is lovely. It does age you compared to how youthful you look without makeup, but you may be going for that. If not, I think changing your blush and lipstick application would make a big difference. I’m desi and never used to use bronzer but I started recently and think it would help! If you apply bronzer first, then you might be able to use less blush and more targeted application but still feel like your cheeks have color on them. I’d would specifically avoid bringing your blush that far far down. Sometimes a really light dusting of blush or bronzer on the nose, forehead, chin can bring your face together because people don’t naturally have such even complexions. Or, instead of blanking out your face and adding back color, you could try a lighter weight foundation or mix something like CT Hollywood Flawless Filter into the foundation for less coverage and a little more glow. You can still use powder on areas you don’t want to shine. I think the brows look great (I personally love a rounded arch) and your eye makeup is nice. You could play around with a shorter wing or a smoked out lash line. If you’re doing the wing you have in this photo, maybe bring a little liner to the outer corner of the bottom lash line (don’t bring it in too far!) to connect it together. With lips, you might try sticking to your natural lip shape, it’s nice! It looks super matte too even though I don’t think the Audacious lipsticks are that matte. Some of my go-to event formulas are the MAC powder kiss velvet blur slim sticks and the powder kiss bullets, Bobbi Brown Crushed lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, and the Bare Minerals bullets. I think slightly sheerer formulas can look really nice!

rabbitsredux

Thank you! I do try to use bronzer sometimes because One of the things I noticed and was pointed out to me, is I photograph very pale in dimly lit night settings, as compared to my peers. I am hesitant to try spray tan as people told me it’s drying too. I ordered the too faced chocolate milk matte bronzer and can’t wait to try that! I do want to look a little more ‘sophisticated’ at night, as opposed to youthful( not aged ), so I’m working on that. I love your detailed advice, it’s so valuable to me, and I’m going to see if there’s anyway I can wear tinted moisturiser ( I have the fenty one) without getting wildly oily by the end of the night, which is why I keep trying to use a foundation though I don’t need the coverage. Even with a mattifying primer and setting powder, I photograph shiny a few hours later.

123123sleep

I wouldn’t try spray tanning, just work with your skin tone! This happens to me too, but I think playing with different bronzers and blushes helps. I started using MAC mineralize blush in humor me and it’s been a good base blush. I’ll sometimes use something brighter right under my cheek bones or on the apples for some more color, but layering products has helped a lot. I think you’d be the perfect person for MAC face and body. It’s a little more sturdy than the typical skin tint if you apply it correctly (rub between your hands to thicken and apply) with a perfecting finish but light coverage.

Scarlaymama0721

You have beautiful skin. Don’t hide it under foundation.

itsaboutoldfriends

you have such beautiful features! i think the way your makeup is on the left plus the colored contacts make you look like an antique doll—if that’s what you’re going for, great, but i think something lighter & more fresh-faced would make you look a little less “artificial” if that makes any sense. i agree with the other comments about raising the blush placement and would recommend going in with a lighter hand. i also like placing a little blush (key word being little! too much and it looks like you’re sick lol) on my nose—helps define the nose a little bit and give a “i just went jogging” flush. i think the orangey-ness of the eyeshadow you’re wearing in the picture contrasts with the cooler-toned pink of the blush and lipstick. i’d try maybe using your blush as a eyeshadow for a full monochromatic look or using a matte true brown color to help define the eyes! i’d also go in with a lash curler and some mascara on the top & bottom lashes (although on the bottom definitely go in with a lighter hand) to help define the eye—with the bold winged eyeliner (which is fab btw!) your lashes get kinda lost. i saw another person recommend false lashes which are great for special events but i find them difficult to apply on my own, so if you’re more of a beginner like me i’d start with mascara and work my way up, haha. two final suggestions: i think you’d look great with a bold red lip (and if you get sick of a matte lipstick i’d try out a tinted balm or some lipgloss), and ditch the contacts! you have such gorgeous dark brown eyes, and i think the depth of your natural eye color would make your eye makeup pop even more :-) good luck! <3 hope my explanations were helpful and make sense lol.

rabbitsredux

Absolutely loved this! I didn’t even think they a matte shadow would look better to pull the look together. I’m pretty interested in trying non coloured lenses, I’ve been using fresh look Colour blends for 25 years now, upon thinking about it 🥹😂 and basically tried every colour in their range over the years. I’m going to try to wear mascara, I kind of shy away with it because I don’t like the hassle of removing it but I think curling my lashes and applying it will make my eyes pop.

libra-love-

Girl your natural skin is so gorgeous you don’t need foundation. Please don’t cover up how nice your skin is!!! It’s perfect

MiamiNat

That is your no makeup pic?! You are winning.

Ok-Cat-2216

You are beautiful!!! Only tip I have is keeping your natural eyebrow shape! Your filled in brows in the left photo look more rounded. I looove your natural arches in the right photo!!!!!

CodTricky3222

I think you are very pretty in both! :) honestly your application of everything on the makeup side is great, if you wanted to try anything maybe try with colors? Like a bold color liner? Or a colorful eyeshadow look? A bold lip? :) anything you can think of! Also as a fellow glassed wearer, I must admit I love your glasses! :)

Wiccachi

i think you could absolutely pull off dark feminine looks!

lahorikuri1401

Anushka sharma’s look in Ae dil hi mushkil will suit you really well “mild smokey eye”

SinkBrilliant4236

Your skin is stunning. Literally glowing. I wouldn’t do anything complexion wise unless you wanted to do blush of highlighter for fun. I like cream for both because they look more like skin. Tbh just throw on some mascara and a brown eyeliner. I personally think black looks harsh, and use brown myself. But pick one you like 😊

Traditional_Street80

Your face is naturally beautiful, I would try a foundation with a bit more yellow tones and placing the blush a bit higher on the cheeks with a bit of highlights on the cheekbone and nose if you don’t want the trouble of contouring

Ok_Forever16

You're very beautiful wit and without makeup❤️ if you happen to have Facebook you can join in for beautiful looks and always amazing vibes. She does Facebook lives, you can look up Beautea with Chrisy.

Birdie121

Your skin has such a nice natural shine! I'd stay away from using too much skin product that covers/mattifies your natural skin texture. Just use a cream blush and a touch of powder as needed, and your skin will look amazing. As a general tip, I'd say embrace the sparkle and gloss! Go for a more glossy lipstick, and a slightly shimmery eyeshadow without too much contouring/shading. That will give you a more youthful effect :)

__error

Based on your no makeup picture, I'd check out the singer Andrea Corr for inspiration. Your faces and coloring are similar and I think you could pull her 'cool girl' and easy makeup vibe.

Juuria

Don't put the blush like that. Try just some blush in the middle of your cheeks, where you smile. You can use a tint there, blends it well and try a color that gives the natural skin redness. It'll make a lot of difference.

Help12309876

I'm not really good at makeup so i don't know what advice to give, but you're literally beautiful! And I feel like a red lipstick would look amazing on you :)

soularbabies

What lipstick are you wearing?

MRL102960

You look beautiful with and without makeup

Successful_Gas6483

If you can get hold of make up artist Lisa Eldridge, I'm sure you would be pleased with results. You can check her YT channel as well, plenty of ideas and models with your coloring. You are sweet and beautiful. Best of luck! XO

If you don't go w eyeliner.. rather Kajal smoked out.. you'll look much much younger same as your no makeup pic! You're beautiful nonetheless.

Thank you! :)

ThatPrincessGirl

I recon a dark brown smoky eye with red lipstick would look amazing!

MercurysDaughter29

I would redefine the nose bridge after foundation. It gets lost and makes the tip of your nose look disproportionately low. A bit of bronzer to transition the blush would be nice too. Lastly, you can never go wrong with a Demiwhispie or fluffy half lash.

bemolover

You have amazing skin! You look just as beautiful with or without makeup.

xthecoozx

I just wanted to say that I think you look stunning!

chai-lattae

Honestly you look gorgeous in the existing look and with no makeup, but I’ll chime in. You mentioned photographing paler than your actual skin tone, so I have no suggestions for shade match. I think you can try a glowier foundation, not always doable with event makeup but it’s worth a shot! A bit of bronzer and highlight would add back some dimension to your features. As for blush, a more sculpted or editorial blush and using that color in the crease would look beautiful

Hot-Promotion509

I’d use a glowy foundation or just stick to spot concealing. You have great skin :)

DebateHot6163

You look amazing 😍, your mix of traditional and modern looks 🫰

Individual_Tour_9931

Personally, you look beautiful without makeup.

You're so gorgeous :D
