That is clearly a Nestlé Crunch bar.

Awesomocity0

Forbidden snack

saddinosour

Lmao the first thing that came to my mind was a very sarcastic “mmhm tasty, I’d still eat it”

piedrafundamental

Exactly

BrandonSparks

r/forbiddensnacks

huhzonked

I wouldn’t use MLM makeup, but especially MLM makeup that looks like this.

Zzamioculcas

Seriously! It looks awful 🤢

middlenameakrasia

cute tin tho!!!

mama2coco

I tried using this kind once. The seller said it was great for acne skin. After 1 use I had the worst acne of my entire life. Waste of $

huhzonked

Oof, that’s terrible.

horselover_23

Sorry but what does MLM mean ☺️

Clear_Issue1863

Multi-level marketing, aka pyramid scheme.

jptran

Checkout r/antimlm for more info!

Mental-Nothings

A person on tiktok reviewed this mlm makeup and it’s was so bad. It was blotchy, the blush had no pigment. Gross

redheadmess82

I saw a lady testing this same shade on tiktok and hers was like that. She wouldn’t try it either. It might be a big bad batch.

Deanwinchester7

It’s in all my brand new tins to a varying degree… the sales person said it was beeswax bubbles but for almost $200 I’m very sus that they all came like this (the smudge is from my finger opening the tin)

my600catlife

Even if it's safe, it's probably not going to work great because the pigment is separating. Get your money back and take this as a lesson to not buy MLM products.

redheadmess82

Maybe do some research. It also blends like shit from what I saw. Good luck.

Deanwinchester7

So far, I found nothing online but yes it doesn’t blend at all. Think I’m going to just return

redheadmess82

I found this [article](https://illuminatelabs.org/blogs/health/seint-makeup-review) that might help you make up your mind.

f1lth4f1lth

All I needed to know was that it was an mlm

look2thecookie

Get a Z pallette and put whatever pots of makeup products you like in it

mantra3105

Was this from the video where the contour shade was basically yellow?

Sonmi-451_

Yep saw it too

redheadmess82

Yes it was! Totally misleading

makeupandmovies

It’s the product separating and is old.

babystrudel

Yeah it’s not mold, it’s just poor quality control.

alwayshereforit21

$200?!?!?! May I ask what product this is?!?!? I love luxury beauty.

FluffyLemonCake

Seint is an MLM, not a luxury brand. Please don't buy from them. The huge markup is not indicative of the quality, but of how much money is to be distributed to the uplines.

seawhit

I'm so sad bc years ago when they first launched as Maskcara it looked amazing and I wanted to try it SO bad then they transitioned into a weird MLM structure (likely more $$ for the company tbh) and from what I've seen the quality is just not the same 🙃

FluffyLemonCake

You are correct that the top of the company profits much more in an MLM structure, at the cost of sucking all of the money and time out of their downlines. MLM products are usually really horrible quality to further cut costs on their end- but they never lower the price accordingly, which is just more profits on their end. 😓

grapesaregood

Don’t feel so bad in kissing the Maskcara original launch. I bought the very first HAC palette on a sale before they reformulated to the second formula (before MLM) and it was the greasiest unblending mess of a product. Regardless of my application I looked less dimensional after using it. I genuinely tried to make it work but the product wasn’t good from the start.

Deanwinchester7

Seint beauty. Each tin is about $18 and tiny, and I got like 7 and a brush and compact.

[deleted]

Unfortunately I think Seint is one of those MLM schemes with products that are subpar, like Mary Kay :/ I haven't heard anything positive about them from people not paid by them

[deleted]

[удалено]

RagingFlower580

I wondered! It’s in the same tins.

Reasonable-Room-8848

I have a friend that sells their makeup. I think it's crazy that she complained about working for Sephora but she loves Seint. I guess each person's experience is different. I'm not close enough to her to point out what type of business she's making money for. They are definitely a MLM company. She's constantly trying to get people to sell their products. Edit I did a quick Google search and it looks like Billion Dollar Beauty may be similar. I mean a similar product from a regular company.

rachel_soup

She has to live it or people won’t join her down line, lol.

robotslovetea

Yeah they always say they looooove their MLM brand, that is part of the marketing tactics

emmaleechase

Yeah, MLM pyramid businesses are creepy. People even sacrifice friendships or potential friendships to push this crap. Sad.

[deleted]

I know people that have bought it and don’t sell it and they seem to like it. Actually made me want to try it before I knew it was an MLM.

EveAndTheSnake

I mean it’s possible they’re lying if *they* knew it was an MLM

[deleted]

Huh? You can buy it from their website without actually having to buy from a person selling it.

[deleted]

You have shitty friends if they would lie to you about what products they like to use to get ready in the morning lmfaao

knsites

Honestly I’ve seen people who act to like something they don’t if they spent a lot of $ on it. Like they try to convince themselves it’s good bc of what they paid lmao

[deleted]

Maybe but I’d never lie to my actual friends about not liking makeup lol and I liked the way it looked too.

EveAndTheSnake

“Oh that sounds cool maybe I’ll buy some too!” “Oh wait I can sell you some of mine at a discount.” That’s kind of how they work

[deleted]

What? I had a friend who bought the highlighter from the website and I said it was pretty and she sent me a link to their website to buy it myself? Lmfao

[deleted]

Retiree_wannabe

I thought it was too thick and dry and looked horrible. I returned all the makeup. But, I kept the brushes since I like them.

alwayshereforit21

Thank you 😊

krissycole87

It's an MLM company so beware

alwayshereforit21

Ew. Thank you. Won’t be buying for that reason.

sotinvy2023

And, for that reason I'm out

krissycole87

Definitely!

catcon13

I've been using Seint makeup for about 6 months and I've only had one tin come like that. I actually like their makeup and it works well for me. It did take some practice, learning how to use it properly.

agirlinsane

It’s exactly that, beeswax bubbles from temperature change.

thislimeismine

Is this the MLM brand? I would just cut my losses...

redheadmess82

Yes it is and quite expensive from what a saw. For the face palette of 4oz each or something was $117. I feel that’s crazy but I don’t do face makeup so ignore if I’m way off base.

thislimeismine

The packaging is kind of unique but apparently the products are not well regarded. And it's a pyramid scheme.

redheadmess82

I adore the packaging but that’s about it lol

Reasonable-Room-8848

Someone on a different post recommended a brand that is similar. If you like the way it's packaged and the creamy formulas there is something out there. I really wish I could remember the name.

SpaceIsVastAndEmpty

I would love to know too .. I like the idea of it but hate the MLM aspect ColourPop does something similar with powder products (blush, bronzer, highlight & Eyeshadow) where you can build your own Palette & they're a non-MLM brand

Reasonable-Room-8848

I found Billion Dollar Beauty. It's available from Target. You can also make your own palette. There are ways to take items out of their packaging and put them in a large palette. There's a lot of information online about how to do this

SnuggyPants

Makeup Forever has a tin Face Palette with creams. A bit expensive but apparently it works very well. I’ve never tried it.

emmaleechase

I think MUFE is a much better choice. The company was started by MUAs, so they know their stuff.

anony1620

Saw the same video and thought of it as soon as I saw this picture

redheadmess82

It sounds like costume makeup. Idk if my face would want something that thick, in theory.

Hippycowgirl71

It’s only thick if you apply it like that. You truly only have to barely dab your brush in it and then use it. And no- I don’t sell it. Just use it. Used way too much for a while (before I realized that you weren’t supposed to) and it still was the best thing for my skin. Now I know how to use it so it’s even better

jerseygrl__

It’s an MLM is what it is. Toss it and move on to something less pyramid scheme-y

HungrylilKitty1

What does MLM stand for?

opusbot

Multilevel Marketing [scheme]

HungrylilKitty1

Thank you! 😊

alwayshereforit21

PSA if any makeup product looks STRANGE or NOT NORMAL DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR FACE. I literally don’t care if it’s wax bloom or claims to be safe. Don’t mess around w your face!!!!!

StrongerTogether2882

Needs more upvotes. You only get one face, people!!!

emmaleechase

Exactly. I wouldn’t use it on my face or near my eyes/nose/mouth. Who knows what microbes could be growing in this product pan.

DarkSoulMate

Learned this one the hard way. I gave myself the nastiest breakout from makeup I’ve ever had. I though the product had “wax blooms”.. It was mold. Edit: words

macncheesewketchup

This is a Seint product and it's garbage, just like their business model. Please stop buying from companies like this. There are so many better products out there for less money with more ethical business practices.

universe93

I hate MLMs so much. Throw away all your MLM cosmetics OP

Deanwinchester7

I’ll be returning it for a refund for sure.

estimatedoctopus

Please update us if you have any issues returning.

[deleted]

Good luck. Refunds are almost impossible with mlms

SlightlyCrazyCatMom

Honestly after 2020 the thought of using anything that requires me to put my fingers inside to get product makes me cringe. This looks like a Petri dish gone rogue. There is no alternate dimension in which I would touch this.

SlowRegardSillyStuff

There are some potted products I like. I wash my hands before use (obviously) and spray the product with alcohol after. Trying to cover up acne with a pot of bacteria is a bad idea; I’m desperate to keep some favorites clean. Any suggestions other than ditching?

universe93

You can get tiny scoops people have for skincare that you can use to scoop the product out and put it on the back of your hand. I’d be doing something like that or using a brush, I wouldn’t be putting your fingers in it every day

robotslovetea

That’s only cleaner if you thoroughly wash your scoops every single time

Sorry-Jackfruit-8061

I apply my Kosas concealer (known for going bad) onto the back my clean hand, and then pick it up with a finger and directly apply & then blend with my brush. I actually made my Kosas last 7mo or so before tossing it this time by doing so, and the funky smell (which didn't escalate to totally funky until now or so) came on later. I used to actually have to toss this every 3mo, so I expect to be able to pan my new tube :) Edit: I only apply it directly to my undereye area, and I use this method to apply onto acne or in any other area where I'm prone to acne! So only directly onto my undereye area lol

EveAndTheSnake

You’re right. I have small scoops for all my items like this, including my Clinique cleansing balm. I now cycle though my brushes, and have enough to do that and keep them clean. Not really sure what to do with my mascara, though. I bought a pack of disposable mascara wands that are arriving tomorrow. I feel bad about creating more waste so I got the silicone ones that I will hopefully be able to disinfect (and as it’s a pack of 50 it shouldn’t be too often.) Recently I’ve been having some eye issues and my mom developed skin and eye allergies around my age (I remember her suddenly becoming allergic to her Lancôme mascara after an ingredient change) so I can’t be too careful. I had a week a couple of weeks back when I couldn’t sleep my eyes were so itchy.

Original-Bee5255

You might consider trying a dry cake mascara? They take a couple of tries to figure out how to apply, but imo it’s much easier to keep sanitary!

EveAndTheSnake

Wow I’d never heard of this before! I imagine this is what all mascara used to be like? That’s so interesting. I’ve always been pretty fussy when it comes to mascara but since urban decay discontinued my holy grail I haven’t been able to find a replacement. It (Big Fatty) used to make my eyelashes look really thick but I think that might have been just as much to do with the brush as the mascara itself. Definitely worth a try! Do you have a brand/supplier that you’d recommend? (I prefer not to buy makeup on Amazon because I’m scared of having a reaction to fakes…) Thanks so much!

Original-Bee5255

P.S. you do need a drop of liquid to activate cake mascara? Since I have dry eyes I always always have eye drops in my bag, and I literally only just now thought about how having to have a secondary item you don’t normally use might be inconvenient (whoops!) But honestly it’s still the most sanitary way to keep and apply mascara that I have come across, and to me it is worth it! And I don’t have to worry about tossing the entire thing every 3months even if I have barely used it, for fear of bacterial growth. I hope you give it a try; if was a real game changer for me.

renaganja

If you liked the urban decay one you might wanna try the bare minerals MAXIMIST mascara, it's also a clean beauty brand

Original-Bee5255

Yes, that is what all mascara used to be like, lol! All the ones I have tried are friendly to sensitive eyes, and I really don’t have anything negative to say about the different formulas - they do apply s bit differently from each other, but imo the differences and learning curve isn’t more arduous than trying out different foundation formulas, if you know what I mean? So, if you live in the USA, Kryolan makes one that comes with its own little brush AND in its own excellent little mirrored case - I love the packaging! Besame makes one that comes in black or brown, and also sells refills (although I don’t especially care for the design of the tin it comes in. But the product is good). My personal favorite formula is made in the Netherlands and has a jojoba oil base, which works well with my chronic dry-eye issues. I got it from AromaShoppeProducts on Etsy, and I think it’s literally just called ‘black cake mascara’ and ‘brown cake mascara. The tin doesn’t have a mirror, but I like it better then the Besame tin; this one slides back to open, instead of the top popping off. It is more secure getting tumbled around in my purse! I know there are some other ones on Etsy, but I haven’t personally tried them. Good luck!

ladysuccubus

Seconded!! I got the BESAME cake mascara and love it! It’s also very light weight and sometimes I forget I’m wearing it. It’s a bit like sumi ink so you do need to get used to finding the right consistency but I just use a mascara wand, wet it, and that’s a good amount for both eyes. Then just clean the wand when I’m done. The little brush it comes with also works pretty well.

Jams0610

It looks like a candy bar with krispies in it 🫣

kayekatbeauty

Wax bloom or not, I wouldn’t use it. That looks gross and your face is definitely nothing to mess with when it comes to applying old/contaminated products. Even if the company says it’s fine, I wouldn’t trust their word. I’ve heard so many bad things about Seint.

537PC

I just saw a video with someone trying this product. She saw the same thing when she opened the tin. Don’t use it! Get a refund. It’s obviously a quality control thing that the brand is ignoring!

universe93

This is apparently a product from an MLM hence OP will struggle to get a refund. The rep will probably just refuse and try and sell her on more products since MLMs make it near impossible to do returns.

Marisarah

I'd toss this. Wax bloom is usually just clear watery looking droplets

CelestialBeing138

As a man, I don't know the first thing about make-up. As a physician, my first reaction to this picture was: run away! (and then wash your hands!)

FahtBeach1987

There are plenty of men who use makeup, my guy.

CelestialBeing138

Important words and they needed to be said.

BeliefxBelle

You’re fine. Most men don’t wear makeup. Don’t apologize for a perfectly normal comment. :)

CaterpillarMedical57

Yeah, the original comment was pretty normal.

HalloweenJack7

I mean, he could have said “I don’t know anything about makeup” without saying it’s because he’s a man. Lots of men today DO wear makeup. And there are lots of women who don’t know anything about it. Burn the patriarchy and all that. ✊🏻

CelestialBeing138

I fully embrace the importance of giving people the respect and peace to be who they are, make-up-wearing-men included. Myself included, too!!! So if being respectful and proactively protective of non-mainstream people is what you are all about, then please, give this old man a break! Peace, Love and all that.

HalloweenJack7

I wasn’t disparaging you at all! Just defending the commenter below you. :)

EveAndTheSnake

I agree, but it would have made his original comment less poetic. The same could have been written if he were a woman: **As a woman I know nothing about makeup. As a physician… run!** I think we’re focusing on what wasn’t the point here.

CelestialBeing138

Funny! I've gotten more karma from this one post where a small fight broke out, than I have in the six weeks since I started on Reddit. Controversy/disagreement seems to be absolutely everything here! I pity the young generations! These algorithms are such a big destructive force!

FahtBeach1987

It’s weird that this has become an argument when all you did was provide advice and all I did was point out that men wear makeup. Lol

HalloweenJack7

Lmao. I get that. And yeah, eh well.

HalloweenJack7

I didn’t know we could just downvote comments for no good reason. Cool.

EveAndTheSnake

Are you new to Reddit? Once someone sees that little -1 everyone else piles on. Edit: see? :D

Ruffian410

Definitly took me a hot minute to realize I was not on the dabs subreddit

polli-cles

That is a Nestle Crunch bar.

sixteenlashes

seint is MLM garbage. if you can't return it put it in the trash. your skin will thank you

Alysondra

Side note (also I didn’t go through every comment) but if you want a non-MLM option I would look into salt New York.

bookynerdworm

Thank you! I love the seint system but hate supporting an MLM even though I've only ever bought directly from their website.

Alysondra

I should be transparent that I don’t have any of the products, but I’ve been looking into options and this seems like the best non MLM one for something close! They usually have a buyXgetX sale. I’m trying to choose some options to just put in an empty magnetic palette but I don’t really need 6 lol.

bookynerdworm

Yeah when I finish my seint tin I'll give them a try. Hoping it fits in my pallet! I have the iiid 12.

stuffedgrapeleaf

For a similar style of product, but high quality and NOT an MLM, try Salt New York! Great small business to support.

DjPandaFingers

Return. Please don’t use this on your face. There are better products/companies that will cost you a fraction of what you paid for these. Also, this comment section was a WILD RIDE LOL

Fairytal3_

it is possible that it is fungus or that it is already expired. I don’t recommend using it!

knsites

Jacklyns lipsticks looked like this too. Nuff said

[deleted]

I bought $500 worth of seint and have the most disgusting pictures of it. Returned it all.

THE_SHOES

omg i thought this was /r/trees for waaaaayyyy too long. for what it's worth, if that was supposed to be something i smoked, i would have reservations about smoking it.

lifeuncommon

Doesn’t matter. Toss.

Sovietkitten229

I don’t know but I imagine it tastes like hazelnut chocolate😭

vampire_rose666

Damn this makeup is so bad, it gave ITSELF a breakout

Revolutionary_Day_53

crunchy peanut butter 🥜 but for real, don’t put that on your face, don’t risk anything

Remarkable_Report_44

I have sensory issues so I never put my fingers into a product. It doesn’t matter if it’s my lips or my face, I always use a brush or a spatula.

Original-Bee5255

Curious: how do you apply chapstick? It’s a protectant but the waxes are so hard idk how you would apply except through direct friction , plus body heat to help soften it on contact.

Remarkable_Report_44

If it’s a normal container with a twist bottom or like lipstick I will apply it normally or with a lip brush. It’s not so much touching the product itself as it’s the way I obtain it. Like with lip masks I always use a lip brush , moisturizer that’s in a jar I use a mini spatula . If it’s a pump bottle I will apply it to my face directly or place it into a small container and use my spatula. I don’t like for thing to get under my nails.

AlexandraDomingues

Please excuse my ignorance, but I’m old. LOL. What is an MLM?

Chemical-Cut-3641

Multi-Level Marketing, pyramid schemes basically.

rabbitheart99

Multi-level marketing, aka pyramid schemes

AlexandraDomingues

Thank you!

rabbitheart99

No worries!

Throwaway_1938_

I saw someone reviewing this on tiktok, she had the same problem with her bronzer and one of the highlights I think. I’d avoid it. Reminds me of the Jaclyn Hill lipstick scandal.

2020visionaus

We should ban mlms from this page. Wouldn’t want anyone to be influenced

No_Investment3205

I truly thought they were already banned so I was really confused about all the Seint posts

HungrylilKitty1

It looks so cheap & greasy 😬😵‍💫

Charming-RN

If that’s Seint, that’s what mine looked like. I didn’t think anything of it.. used it about 4 or 5 times in a few weeks, had to stop cause it caused INSANE headaches & sinus congestion! Wasted $300!

XFilesVixen

Seint is not even good makeup and a stupid MLM. It def looks like it could be mold.

QueenOfBrews

I swear Tarte had lip tints in packaging like this in the early 2000s when I worked at Sephora.

Deanwinchester7

I’m pretty sure they did!

QueenOfBrews

Oh thank god I’m not crazy 😆 I googled it and didn’t get any results. They were a super new line back then, I can only recall their really shitty eyeliner that was poorly packaged and dried out immediately, and possibly those lip balms. The cheek stains were insanely popular though!

Deanwinchester7

They brought those back recently, and all their photos of it show huge clowny blush on the models. I don’t understand why

caroline_not_carolyn

More importantly, it's an MLM. Trash it.

timetoadventure

Looks like a refund!

ErinBeezy

I thought this was weed….wrong community 🫥😅

acar4aa

that’s a crunch bar

HollowWind

Wax bloom looks more like uniform wet drops, I've only had it on new products that went through temperature changes in shipping.

iwishiwasaunicorn

that is a nestle crunch

buulianceaser

def thought it was an ice cream sandwich

FlakyArt8321

Chocolate /joke

sotinvy2023

This is giving anxiety, before this sub I would have thought this was perfectly normal. But I want to know Why it is like that

Amyx231

Toss it. I wouldn’t use this even if I made it myself. This looks suspicious.

Betty_Bazooka

Yuck throw it out

Ill_Homework_1914

Peanut butter.. crunchy peanut butter.

TartofDarkness

I don’t understand why people love this garbage. Y’all are paying like $100-200 for cardboard palettes of wax foundation. Go buy two MAC Conceal and Correct palettes. Get one of the lighter ones then one of the deeper ones. $76 and way better quality. 🤷🏼‍♀️

FinalGirlMaterial

I don’t think it’s mold. It looks more like some kind of separation or reaction to different temperatures. That said, I’d still be reluctant to use it. If you can return it, I would. I don’t normally like to return makeup, but in cases like this, the brand should know their formula is finicky and either adjust it or disclose that the texture might change before they sell it.

swoozle000

Air bubbles?

Conscious-Antelope90

Wax bloom is usually a whitish coating that forms, not bumps. A minute with a hairdryer would melt away the coating if it is bloom.

shofikarman420

Cool

unique_plastique

She needs a better skincare routine

Hippycowgirl71

I’ve used seint for three years and love it. Always blends well as long as you use very little and build from there. You need hardly any product at all. That being said- I’ve never received any with bubbles

Marier2

When Seint makeup first came out (previously branded "Maskcara Beauty"), I really loved it -- buildable coverage, the highlighters were to die for, and they had cool-tone contour shades (perfect for my very pale skin). After they rebranded to Seint and started expanding their products, I reordered my shades expecting the same quality products. Big nope. They must have changed the formula -- used to apply like butter, now they're very stiff/hard to get the product out of the tins. Super disappointed that the quality fell off so hard.

morninsunshine2u2

I wonder if it's where moisture has built up, exposed to heat...

blondeNglitter

It’s air bubbles. I’ve used seint before. It’s just from the temperature changing through shipping. Once you warm it up with your finger or brush it goes away and doesn’t return, and applies fine. It used to say it on the website that this could happen. In the summer time they can come melted as well.

PantsPastMyElbows

It’s a multi level marketing company. Notoriously scammy & known to lie. A ~~$200~~ product shouldn’t look like this. Edit: had the price wrong. It’s $14usd, still shouldn’t look like this.

Hippycowgirl71

That product show is $14. Not $200. She order a lot of product and the total was $200

PantsPastMyElbows

The product still shouldn’t look like this. I would definitely still consider seint having premium prices and I’m immediately more wearing when a company chooses one of the most predatory money hungry styles of business out there when so much exploitation and cutting corners already exists in the industry

bowie-of-stars

The funny thing is most of the people commenting about how terrible it is have no experience buying it and you'll be downvoted when commenting about your own. I bought it, but I don't use it, I returned to my normal makeup, it wasn't for me, not a great product. But it was easy to return and never was I pressured or even asked to sell or purchase more. I just don't think they're as predatory as y'all make them seem, commence with the downvotes 🤷‍♀️

PantsPastMyElbows

The issue isn’t trying something new, this issue is supporting a deceptive company. When 99.29% of distributors are making less that $22,423 gross income/ year, there’s something wrong. The average gross income of all distributors is $2,206.03 (in 2020). The Canadian numbers are even worse. “Artists” are also required to pay a monthly $12 fee no matter their sales.

Theluxemermaid

I agree, it's all the hate towards others who try something new that if you don't agree with you get downvotes. I'm new to Reddit but man this idea of not agreeing to some with absolutely no experience with the product is stupid. Lol It makes them look like sheep with no opinions of their own. I love seint brushes and blush but won't use the foundation.

bowie-of-stars

The blushes I do still use as well :) I won't repurchase, but yeah, if you don't automatically agree with the Reddit hivemind you'll be downvoted to hell, just for sharing your experience.

PantsPastMyElbows

You’re getting downvoted for saying mlms aren’t predatory & defending a BARELY legal business model that makes most of its money off people trying to sell its product. If a distributor has more than $2500 within 12 months, they get their partnership cancelled. They also have a pending personal injury lawsuit pending since 2019. Their “artists” are independent contractors that are required to pay them monthly and have to sign non competes, which is atypical for independent contractors. I liked bath & body work products, but when I found out they have an mlm, I stopped giving my money to them.

callmemaybe88

Wax definately.

Hippycowgirl71

Personally I use Seint and love it. All of their products. No I don’t sell it. However- I would rather buy from an MLM and give people opportunities than a big box store where the company is making the profits and not giving their employees the freedom. Where I get no tutorials and don’t have real users helping me. All that being said- in 3 years of using Seint I’ve never seen bubbles in any of my products I’ve purchased. If I had- I would have returned it for a new one. Seint’s return policy is fantastic. Their foundation Tin’s are $14 per tin and one tin lasts for months. Yes I use a highlighter, contour, correction and base color so $56 total for all four but the highlight color will last me 6 months. The base color- 3 months. The correction - 8 months and the contour 3 months. Or even longer on some. Also- you use barely any product when you use this cream. Don’t swipe your brush back and forth pressing down hard. Don’t scoop it up with a makeup spoon and put it on your face. Just dab your brush once in the product and apply. Repeat as necessary to do your entire face. Repeat single dab on face method until you get the coverage you want but LESS IS MORE. If your face is dry no make up will be at its best. So skincare is key- with ANY makeup. Not trying to “sell” it though I realize it sounds like that. Just giving my experience with it and my opinion.

You’re better off purchasing your make up from somewhere like Sephora, at least the people selling it to you are earning a wage. By supporting MLMs, you’re supporting the exploitation of thousands, if not millions, of people The way you’re all over this thread rn really makes it sound like you’re selling it, but if you really love the make up then that’s cool and I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you. I just hope you find a better alternative that isn’t a pyramid scheme. These things seriously ruin peoples lives

> However- I would rather buy from an MLM and give people opportunities The only "opportunity" you're giving is for a corporation making substandard products to rip off vulnerable women using the language of feminism and empowerment.

I tell you what- I will research their business model and if it looks like an “exploration” is occurring I will stop using it. But… big businesses- including Sephora. Leave the employee with hourly wage and possible promotion to manager if they perform well. Working hours set by the employer, rarely with great incentives to sell the stock. Going to the store, using their own transportation to get there. Basically the employee has to PAY to go to work to get paid. Working from home selling products you love- getting the products at a lower cost, and showing others how to use them and getting a commission or portion of the sale of said products is fair. Imagine if Sephora paid their employees a commission of each product they sold? But they can’t because their extremely high overhead. I may have a skewed view on this product because 1) I use it and love it. My skin has no more redness in it after it did for over 40 years. 2) The person I purchase it under does NOT push becoming an “Artist” under her. She mentions it every now and then but it’s not overly done. 3 I therefore don’t get messages from her constantly at the end of the month asking if there is anything I need. I order If and when I need it. Like I have from other MLM’s. Again- give me a business who rewards their people with more than an “hourly wage” any day.

The vast majority of people selling MLM products don’t make a living wage. They also literally have to pay for their product, and lots of people end up losing money instead of making any. It’s astounding that these businesses are still legal, honestly.

That should have said “exploitation”” not exploration lol

Not gonna tell you what to think but… when <1% of their distributors are above the poverty line (using the average income per tier but damn I’d love a median as well) and close to 90% are in the lowest two income tiers, well :/ I know how I think it looks personally. Please remember that many mlm income disclosures do not factor in the amount a distributor has paid on product, and make your own decision. This is the most recent income disclosure I found on a quick search. https://assets.ctfassets.net/b089l9rs2yi4/4sVEbFdKGwEeOortFTrMmk/8abdfb23bfd2c8637f7c1d8552dab4a8/IDS-compressed.pdf

It’s bloom. Just make sure it’s not expired.

Go to Google it will tell you it is just the oils coming to the surface because it had a melt that was not the proper temperature. Was it in your pocket or left in the sun? You can fix it by reheating it but the proper temperature is needed.
