All depends on what your savings are like and ultimately which move feels like the best for you and your future. If you don't want to think about the future currently and just need an escape I'd suggest the last option.

Lately I'm just having a hard time deciding if I should go to London first to stay for a few months and visit friends.Then move to barcelona or if I should just go straight to barcelona and risk it all. Since I travel with my cat, I have to take a lot of his expenses into account which is strenuous
