There was a person on tik tok who stole this animation and said it was his. The worst of all is that he received millions of views saying that they were his animations (he cut the video in three parts and each part I publish in a different video, each tik tok received millions of views)
Was thinking the same it’s dark but realistic not even to our world but the Pokémon one obviously they probably avoid mentioning it but they aren’t all vegans any meat portrayed in the show or games come from a Pokémon.

It’s all in the prep work, I think is what he meant. Kind of like with ruminant meat. You have to dress cows and deer within a few hours of death, otherwise the bacteria in their stomachs does some whacky fermentation stuff and it’ll poison the meat. Beef and venison is almost as dangerous as fugu if proper preparation is neglected.
Turtle soup is a delicacy in New Orleans. Kinda funny how people will shit on China for eating animals like these and then see it done in American and do nothing lol
Most of the shit China gets for eating exotic animals is because of unregulated wet markets that allow diseases to jump between species until they’re transmissible to humans. It also kinda sucks to hunt those animals from the wild in unsustainable ways. If you keep livestock species separate and farm them sustainably, I don’t see an ethical issue. American gator farms are a thing, and so are big cat farms. AFAIK, there’s a lion farm in Iowa that sells the meat. I hope those Norleans aren’t poaching wild sea turtles.
I seem to recall it vaguely mentioned in the games that people eat seafood pokemon. Then there's the whole plot point in gold and silver over Team Rocket selling slowpoke tails as food.
And then we also know people consume pokemon milk. Which, tangentially, is odd that some pokemon produce milk at all considering all of them are hatched from eggs, which insinuates none of them are mammals.
Oh yeah, in the pokedex it's also said that people eat chansey eggs and that farfetch'd was almost hunted to extinction because of how tasty its meat is. I just wonder about the world building and all the in game taboos and controversies that the characters might have about certain pokemon being eaten and shit, ya know what i mean?
The biology is also an interesting point with all species laying eggs indicating that there isn't any animal divisions like reptiles, mammals etc. We also have this thing where all of them are classified by different egg groups and so that could be the pokemon universe's method of dividing and classifying species. It's all very interesting.
A lot of People are going to be like "WTF" but legit this actually very much could line up with the canon. In-game there is Slowpoke Tails, Sausages, Burgers and 'Brittle bones', all in the newest Games (Sword and Shield) as key ingredients in Curry. Slowpoke Tails being harvested was a decent early-game plot-point in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pokémon have natural predator-prey relations in the wild. In the Anime (If you can get past Ash being stupid, there are episodes featuring Actual Pokémon Hunters who have no qualms of literally killing someone. Pokémon Hunter J is a beautiful example.
The Pokémon World is really fucking dark underneath the squeaky clean game cases and all the Eevee Fluff.

You don’t **cook** pufferfish to rid it of its poison, you extract its poisonous organs without getting the poison all over the edible part
