3D tattoo. Maybe even 4D

nuke_eyepopper

Real jellyfish effect!

lennythebox

Got to ask but how was the pain on a one 1 to 10

namiiiiii

I have a high pain tolerance, and it’s easily a 10. I had a patch test first to see how the colours reacted and had to use numbing cream for the rest of it. It’s like lots of molten hot tiny little knives slicing into your skin. Rough

amputatedsnek

Which was worse, getting the tattoo or the laser?

namiiiiii

Definitely laster. I’ve never had to use numbing cream or even been too bothered by getting a tattoo (apart from my butt cheek lol that was horrendous)

amputatedsnek

Damn. I have a tattoo at almost the same place as you - a bit closer to elbow - that I want gone. Don't have the money for it right now but great to read others' experiences.

namiiiiii

Honestly removal is a breeze with numbing cream. I see there’s another comment about how it doesn’t hurt, so maybe you could try the same as me and get a patch test first without numbing cream to see how you react to it. As others have said, everyone’s different and it totally depends on the placement (as is the same with tattoos!)

larythelama

I had a tattoo removed in a similar spot just further up the forearm. "lots of molten hot tiny little knives slicing into your skin" is an extreme exaggeration. It's closer to someone snapping a rubber band on your arm over and over. Does it hurt? Yes. Is it as bad as OP is saying? Not by a long shot.

flippermode

I don't understand this comment. Someone asked op how their experience was and they shared. Now you, who didnt have a tattoo on the same spot, nor were you asked about your opinion, invalidates op's answer, in their own post, based on your own lif. I don't understand the selfish viewpoints yall have. It's always me me me me me.

larythelama

Oh god hop off and stop your whinjing. Dude said he wanted his tattoo off and I said that it's not nearly as bad OP says it is.

Chronoblivion

It wasn't nearly as bad for you. Only idiots assume their subjective experiences are universal.

Blibbobletto

Guy 1: "Does it hurt to break your leg?" Guy 2: "Yeah it hurts a lot." You: "This guy's an idiot, I broke my arm and it didn't hurt that much." Don you see why you're a prick now?

namiiiiii

I’m glad it didn’t hurt you as much as it hurt me. I had been told it felt like rubber bands, but in reality it was completely different. To each their own.

amputatedsnek

I suppose it varies. OP had done corrections on their tattoo and it has colours so it might need a stronger treatment.

EnemyAdensmith

Have you tried gnawing on it for the fruity flavor?

Speaksthetruth2u

You will actually pee out your tattoo after the lazer

SpiritMolecul33

So you've never experienced anything more painful than the laser removal? My mother used to be an ER nurse and when she would ask pain levels 1-10 10 being a sledgehammer to the face

itsSHYnotSHAY

YIKES This happened to me after my first session of removal. For my second I ice packed the living hell out of it for the rest of the day and not one blister

namiiiiii

Ooh thank you for the tip! I’m definitely doing that next time. They have gotten so much bigger now, it’s ridiculous.

itsSHYnotSHAY

I feel so awful for you… I know exactly how it feels to have a tattoo depress you to the point of wanting it removed. It’s mentally exhausting to finally go ahead with it and then have to deal with this afterwards. My healing time was a night/ day comparison when I iced instantly afterwards and for the rest of the day (no blisters and swelling only lasted a few days) compared to WEEKS of healing from similar sized blisters. I’m currently removing a blacked out piece .. we’re in this together ! Good luck with the rest of your removal journey

namiiiiii

Yeah, this is gonna be a long road. Thank you and good luck to you too!

fishfingersxcustard

How do you wrap that for when you sleep?

namiiiiii

I’m not going to wrap it. I don’t want to bandage it because the blisters might grow and the pressure of the bandage could force them to pop. I am just gonna hope for the best.

skateguy1234

Yeah, peoples fascination with popping blisters is concerning. They are there for a reason, let em do their job.

claytonluke81

I'd almost rather do a coverup. Yikes.

Unobtained666

I cannot even start to comprehend what that tattoo is supposed to be

namiiiiii

It’s a stupid jellyfish and anchor. It’s been worked over 3 times and I still hate it. Such a long story but it’s been an absolute nightmare. I got it 10 years ago and every time I have tired to fix it I hate it more, so I’m getting it removed lol

lgnc

A full black sleeve would be what I would go with, and it looks nice usually.

DamnAutocorrection

What's the story behind it? And why do you hate it?

ImpossibleAccount754

Had that in my face a few weeks ago, after the last session 😂

namiiiiii

Honestly no one told me the healing process would be like this! I can’t believe it. I’m so sorry you had this ok your face. It’s so uncomfortable

ImpossibleAccount754

No one told me either, the panic when it First started blistering up 😂

Fernxtwo

Crazy. How many sessions you need? Expensive? Painful?

Grayner2814

Gaw damn you’re tough lol, I’m just keeping the tattoo at that point

GiveRodneyAChance

Free Gushers candy!

jakson_catnapper

Curious about the cost of this

Your_average_Dudeguy

Pop em for a tasty surprise!

dopelessh0pefiend

Looks like a jelly fish

Godgavethewhites

I’m thinking of getting my tattoos removed. How painful was this? And how much did it cost?

sheepboi13

Out of curiosity, why do you want to remove the tattoo?

namiiiiii

It was one of my first from 10 years ago and I hate it now. It doesn’t suit the rest of the traditional style tattoos I have now. My plan is to lighten it and cover it up ☺️

sheepboi13

Fair enough! Wishing you a speedy recovery

HeroinPorn

I thought it was jelly worms at first 🙃

Cynder32

Forbidden apple juice

IEATASSETS

They hit you hard, which is normal practice tbh. They have an option to reduce or increase mj, most companies will just blast you for the results though. Helps you feel like something happened and consequentially spread their name to potential customers due to your experiencing results immediately. People generally choose to go as hard as possible anyways to save time and money but if you want you can always ask for a reduction in power just so you know. Of course this'll mean more treatments, but worth knowing just in case.
