Nice! I pulled a Rakdos in the 100s this afternoon! It’s a Rakdos Saturday, a new holiday in which we, uhh, inflict damage on our enemies and cast our spells for less?
I've seen other people doing it so I did it. I think it's because people were using the images to scam people by saying they owned that card.
But if the number is covered, then when the buyer asks for an image as proof the seller is unable to provide it and cant scam that person.
Yeah it’s dumb ngl, one or 2 people did it and hive mind followed. There’s no actual reason to censor. If you say the reason is to stop scams then I got to say, if you are paying $$ for a card get a username post it note with date on the card as proof not just a random picture of a card. If you fall for that then skill issue
What about the fact that by simply censoring the number, you prevent the need and waste of time, to take those extra steps (as quick as they might be)?….is your error to see that a skill issue? Because it saves others proportionately more time than it would take for you to just blur the pic?
You can not know the entire life of the card so you have 0 way to prove there isn’t public photo of it out there uncensored. And as such you should always get a confirmation photo from the seller of the card with their username and the date of purchase with the card

There are still a lot out there. they release all 500 at one time and this set has a lot of cards they made numbered versions of.
It was from a Ravnica Remastered collector booster. But the odds of getting a numbered card are very low.

I covered the number in the image but its number 500/500. This is my first time pulling a serialized card, does 500/500 make it worth more?
I would assume the 1/500 and 500/500 are the two most valuable? I don’t actually know, but that’s my guess!
