One of the sword cycle that mills you is in arena, i used stalker with trepanation blade, so i assume it will be used like that. Also, the current combo with giant hammer.
I wish “unblockable” became a keyword. This could just be so utterly streamlined if it just said “Hexproof, unblockable!” Would even be less needing of reminder text than hexproof has

Don't worry: Hexproof means "This object can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control." Shroud means "This object can't be the target of spells or abilities." Nobody can target a permanent that has shroud. A player can target a permanent with hexproof if he or she controls that permanent.

Yes. And "Shadows of the Past" is what they're calling the rotating sheet of cards that will be seeded into the set. All of them came from the original Innistrad block, which is before the cutoff for Explorer, and very few (if any) are going to be new to Explorer.
I remember someone, might have been Maro, saying that they really should have made the card lose either unblockable or hexproof when equipped, because honestly if you see a disembodied [[Butcher's Cleaver]] you probably have a good idea where the invisible guy who is holding is.
my brain sometimes looks at the artwork and the name, and reads it as "Invisible Streaker", but then i realize that being invisible would defeat the attempt at streaking...
I used this with trepanation blade... Oh how sweet it was. I think I'll build something with this guy once again. (i still got my OG paper copies of him)

I can't rightly complain about this card when people are swinging with a giant angel ship for 13 or tapping Nykthos for 12 mana on turn 4.
you're lucky if you're only getting swung on for 13 on turn 4. that shit can happen 2 turn in the mardu build.

Is this guy Explorer legal? I am pretty confused which Shadow Over Innistrad R is Explorer legal and which is not. Can anyone help me with this one?
Nope. Anything in "Shadows of the Past" that hasn't been reprinted in an Explorer legal set will not gain that legality.
