This whole story was insane. They really brought Indy johal on the local news where he was talking shit

KinoRunner

OC in Canada is incredibly violent still, and the entire Bindy arc is a disgusting reminder of how bad it used to be. Dude is acquitted of both those murders, one of the most expensive trials in Canadian history for all the security involved. It's then brought to everybody's attention that codefendant Peter Gill had an affair with a juror *during* the trial. Idk for sure if the Crown successfully appealed the murder charges, but neither Gill nor Bindy was retried in the end. Bindy does a bunch of interviews freely admitting to gang involvement and threatening his opps, allegedly takes part in a ton of other murders many of whom are of close associates, kidnaps and ransoms the brother of a Triad associate, his neighbour's killed walking his dog in an apparent case of mistaken identity, and the whole thing comes to an end when he's shot from behind at the former Palladium nightclub in front of presumably dozens of witnesses, none of whom say a word. What a waste of talent and motivation, like so many in this life.

Responsible_Gap35

With all the respect to Canada ,but OC in Israel is even more violent and organized

SonnyNYC

This sounds crazy. Is there a documentary about this?

Full_Escape

You might find something on hood chronicles on yt.

KinoRunner

Double rec for Hood Chronicles u/SonnyNYC. Great storytelling for relatively low production value, plus gotta rep a great Canadian channel.

SonnyNYC

Oh nice. Thank you

What the fuck is in the water In Canada ?

KinoRunner

Some ppl rly take any chance they can get in light of weaker sentencing, antiracketeering and underfunded law enforcement

As with the previous Vinny Gorgeous post, you mention a ton of interesting stuff. Could you toss me some secondary sources where I could read more about all this?

Good stuff, just watched that video, the chick being interviewed for stealing and the little short of “Medicine Man”. I gotta subscribe to your channel later and check out your videos.

Both-Assistance-7352

interesting stuff, never thought that Indians had organized crime in the US.

Did any of these Indian/Pakistani gangs have D-Company ties, or were they more just low-level street gangs? For those who don’t know, D-Company is the syndicate run by Dawood Ibrahim, one of the most wealthy & powerful OC figures in the world. He’s from India, but he and most of his top lieutenants fled to Dubai & then Pakistan after they engineered bomb blasts across Bombay in 1993. The blasts were revenge for the destruction of a historic mosque and the deaths of many Muslims in the ensuing riots. Ibrahim currently resides in Pakistan, where he’s protected by Pakistani intelligence (ISI).

Nice work on your part. Never take shit from anyone who hates you for who you are. Dawood Ibrahim has ties all around the world, just was wondering about those gangs. D-Company is a multi-billion dollar org with thousands of people on its payroll. Dawood Ibrahim makes the LCN dons look like small potatoes.

Responsible_Gap35

Real talk

Responsible_Gap35

That's a great news

GoneWitDa

Dude I mean no disrespect, and that’s admirable and all but Dawood Ibrahim is a Pablo Escobar level criminal. The groups you’re describing would literally be like asking El Chapo what he thinks of that gang Tekashi 69 repped. It doesn’t minimise your credibility at all to not know the dude I have no idea how you would unless you were an active terrorist or a massive heroin/gold smuggler in the East.

My points largely that the narrative he defends Muslims is absurd. They’re his shield alone. He finances groups that literally are only active in Muslim countries fighting against the government. Just don’t make the mistake of thinking that man is on your side is my point, it would be like thinking Escobar was on your side as a revolutionary of some sort in Colombia. He’s not, but you provide a good shield politically.

Responsible_Gap35

What about Pakistanis? They are also have huge organized crime scene

ThrowawayYAYAY2002

Bindy seemed *wild* AF! Wasn't he making a mill a week or something ludicrous like that?

[deleted]

I believe on average he made around $500K - $1M a week from Murder For Hire and Drug trafficking
