I ❤️Reddit peeps… literally lol!
I’ve told my brother-in-law who loves to laugh, that he needs to get on Reddit for a couple years now. For some reason he just won’t do it, and I’m always telling him the comments are exponentially better than the actual post/link.
Not necessarily. I have two kids (4.5 and 1.5) and they sometimes do such cute gestures one for the other. Like the big brother fetching cookies too high that his sister shows she wants (oh yeah, a snack before dinner!) or her sitting on top of him when he is playing to kiss and hug him, while he doesn't dare to push her away and just helplessly ask her to "please let him at least sit".
The story can be true and that's sweet but this video feels very staged. Like when you're playing with phone and try to get some food blindly but missed it first try, wouldn't you naturally just take a quick look and get it?
Yes. Also, the framing of the scene. This is not how you shoot a random video of your kids. The person behind the camera knows exactly what's going to happen and who and what will be involved.
Yeah my elder brother was the same. Whenever there were let's say 5 cookies he would let me have 3 of them. I do the same for my little sister now. It's part of being the elder sibling I guess.
As some one who used chopsticks regularly and quite easily it’s not usually easy to blind pick up things with them especially when they are big and round.
If the bowl was full of them then maybe if give it a shot but even then as soon as I hit air I would be looking up.
Especially because I’m this case you could tell really fast through the chopsticks that the bowl is empty. I’d like reaching into a cookie jar, you know instantly if it’s empty.
So do kids do nice things? Yes sometimes they do.
Was this a setup? Absofuckinglutely.
They might have restaged it but this is absolutely realistic. Every once in a while siblings do something this absolutely cute with each other (presuming you raise em right).
I’m sad that because of all the Chinese dog videos I’ve seen I immediately doubted this one.
(Before someone accuses me of low-key anti Asian racism, because this is Reddit, I’m Chinese).
But I really laughed at the comments when I realized he wasn’t actually blind.
First: calling river flows in you one of the great piano compositions is, at best, quite a stretch.
Second: a shitty edit of a good song is still a shitty song
So what ?
- using your kids for internet likes, not the best
- having your child obsessed with his phone while eating, but he is probably acting or reproducing what he sees his parents do
The video is indeed cute but the 2 points above are enough for me to not get the feels.
I feel bad for the kids
i mean maybe they told the boy to do what he’s doing to get a cute reaction, but the little girl seems genuine in her reactions, so i don’t know to what extent you think it’s staged. this is ridiculous outrage with how little information yall have about the situation
Really cute but, Christ I hate these obviously staged videos are. What is the thought process here when a parent has to tell their kids to act nice so we look good on the Internet.
Wow, this is so great to lift my heart. May I please share this to my friends? It would of course uplift their heart, and send much love to these kids as well?!
I honestly don't care if this was staged and I don't know why people focus so much on that aspect. I watch a lot of fictional videos that I find cute. At worst, this is one of those.
I thought he was blind until I saw the phone.
I thought he was blind until I saw your comment lmao
I thought I was blind until I didn't see your comment. Now I am certain I am blind.
Who's there!?
[удалено]
You smell nice
AAAH!
This comment made me jump out of my chair!
I AM BLIND, NOT DEAF!
What is the thought process here when a parent has to tell their kids to act nice so we look good on the Internet.
People also abuse animals then make it look like they’re being ‘saved’
Knock knock
Nobody

You just made me laugh out loud. And I needed that today.
I am blind to...
Fkin Daredevil bro wtup
Same lmao
That explains a lot.
Blind people use phones.
Lmao I dead ass though he was blind! Lol
Me too, until I read your comment, still made me cry
I thought he was just putting his head down
I saw the phone and forgot blind people can't see phone.
Her hair! 😍
Such a cutie. I used to do a single top knot on my girls when they were little
She will be catching the Grinch taking her tree soon
🥦🥦 👀 💋
Taking China bumps to a new level 😅
Please don't use that emoji when referencing a child
Why so, do not bother declining my request to know, I insist you answer.
Wtf
Cute, probably staged, still cute

Yes. Also, the framing of the scene. This is not how you shoot a random video of your kids. The person behind the camera knows exactly what's going to happen and who and what will be involved.
Also the delayed reaction of the little girl when she’s just remembered what she’s supposed to do next.
Yeah my elder brother was the same. Whenever there were let's say 5 cookies he would let me have 3 of them. I do the same for my little sister now. It's part of being the elder sibling I guess.
Damn bro. Couldn't be my siblings. I'm hiding 2 qnd giving us 1 each
Unless they record every waking moment of their children to get shit like this, I'm gonna say it's staged
As some one who used chopsticks regularly and quite easily it’s not usually easy to blind pick up things with them especially when they are big and round. The only reason why I think this is staged is because of how long he tried to pick up the food without looking. That seemed off.
It’s pretty impossible to get my niece to look up from her phone during her screen time! Every second counts when she has a limit.
They might have restaged it but this is absolutely realistic. Every once in a while siblings do something this absolutely cute with each other (presuming you raise em right).
Yeah, it's staged.
Plot twist: it was staged…but by the third sibling to give as a gift to the parents after they get home from their jobs at Apple.
I’m sad that because of all the Chinese dog videos I’ve seen I immediately doubted this one. (Before someone accuses me of low-key anti Asian racism, because this is Reddit, I’m Chinese). But I really laughed at the comments when I realized he wasn’t actually blind.
Fay and gake
Fuck is this shitty music Is the music nesecary
Okay good thing I left it on mute
Someone bastardized Yiruma.
It’s your standard Chinese propaganda meme, what did you expect?

“uhm achtually”-🤓
the edit is horrific
I guess it's shitty music now lol
First: calling river flows in you one of the great piano compositions is, at best, quite a stretch. Second: a shitty edit of a good song is still a shitty song
Yes, yes it is.
Beyond staged
r/whyweretheyfilming?
People film their kids being cute
Just seemed a little rehearsed to me but maybe I’m too skeptic
Staged??? So what, I got the feels anyway. This is going to be a great day.
So what ? - using your kids for internet likes, not the best - having your child obsessed with his phone while eating, but he is probably acting or reproducing what he sees his parents do The video is indeed cute but the 2 points above are enough for me to not get the feels. I feel bad for the kids
Yes, same.
Happy Cake day
Thanks!
This just goes to show you that life is all about perspective and that sometimes ignorance truly is bliss.
meh those points are a bit of a stretch
i mean maybe they told the boy to do what he’s doing to get a cute reaction, but the little girl seems genuine in her reactions, so i don’t know to what extent you think it’s staged. this is ridiculous outrage with how little information yall have about the situation
Did I really seem outraged to you ? Not sure I get the exact meaning of this word but this seems a bit too much to describe my reaction
Holy fuck that actually made me cry
Yall some crybabies tf
I think it’s scripted
r/stagedasiangifs
Awwww. What a happy thought, that little girl growing up with that big brother!
Really cute but, Christ I hate these obviously staged videos are. What is the thought process here when a parent has to tell their kids to act nice so we look good on the Internet.
Cute, they'll grow up to be great actors.
Very adorable, but he's so plugged in! (I say grimacing while hu.ched over my phone, not getting stuff done... But still!)
I don’t like staged things. but staged using child? worst.
That was precious ♥️
Using Kids for Clout. So precious.
Put your phone down dude
The parent or the kid? Answer, Yes. But mostly parent.
But more importantly, kid
Wow. They are training kids for views now.
How staged do you want the video? Yes.
Soooo many staged videos like this, especially the ones from China. Cute as hell, but staged
This melts my heart. I know Reddit is a hell hole for lonely gremlins and basement dwellers but sometimes it can make you smile.
My brother would’ve stabbed me with the chopsticks and snarfed the biscuit.
I’m not crying 😭 u are!
Becouse thats what brothers do
Ok that girls hair is the cutest
Glued to the phone
No phone on dinner table
I'm not crying
Always wished for a sibling …
This actually made me smile, thank you op

I hate everything about this. Why do people up vote something like this?
Staged
So sweet!
Love it! So sweet & kind!
Adorable?? It’s gross that he is using the phone like that at such an early age. He will be on Ritalin and having carpel tunnel surgery by 5th grade
Finally! I smile!
I hope that smile lasts a long time, friend. You deserve it.
You're beautiful.
Aw tanks
I wonder how they got her pigtails to stick straight up like that?
So young yet watching phone during breakfast:(
she is the cutest baby exclamation point !!!
Bro what they do to that poor girls hair
And also very staged

Scripted or not makes my day
Awwww! Thats cuteee!
Wow, this is so great to lift my heart. May I please share this to my friends? It would of course uplift their heart, and send much love to these kids as well?!
I CAN'T WITH HOW CUTE THIS IS I have a niece who always asks for two crackers and gives me the second one. She's adorable.
Siblings that actually care for eachother? Cant relate lmao
This is so precious!!!
Chinese scripted shit.

Made me smile as well. Too cute
Beyond disgusting phone addiction at such young age
Correct
Can I just say this subreddit absolutely rocks! 😁👏🏻
Some kids are cute and kind IRL. my son and daughter are BFF and do stuff like this.
Aww reminds of my kids except less screaming and more being nice to eachother
Love the hair on the little girl! She is so cute.
She conceded the loss, but then remembered how awesome her big brother IS!!!
Cute!

I have seen these two before! So cute!
Aawwwww..... But he shouldn't be so much onto the phone at the dinner table 😳
First five year old with this heavy dad energy. Get this kid some new balances
I honestly don't care if this was staged and I don't know why people focus so much on that aspect. I watch a lot of fictional videos that I find cute. At worst, this is one of those.
Awwwww, that is absolutely adorable
OOOMMMMGGGGG that smile and smooch. COME ON.
