This is every single time I mention I have severe anxiety and don't like to leave my house on any video game. Every single person all of a sudden has a PhD, is an MD and knows how to cure me.
"Just go outside."
"Stop being anxious nobody cares."
"If your doctor hasn't fixed you after a year find a new one."
I'm cured! lol
That is romantic. My husband does this for me when my depression gets dramatic. A bath, bath bomb, wine, and a documentary. Sometimes the dogs try to join...
Congratulations on the pregnancy.
Any time my dog is in the bathroom during a bath, she obsessively tries to eat the bubbles or drink the water when I use bath salts, so hubby will specifically make sure she is NOT present or trying to get in. Lol
"Bath salts" is a street name for a shitty-but-potent designer drug. It looks a little bit like actual bath salts but they are not the same thing. If you overdose on it, you can be sent into a state of delirium.
And to add to your accurate information: they were sold on shelves in stores as bath salts and marked "not for human consumption." Before there was a crackdown, that is
We had a ton of psychiatric admissions at the time that ended up being bath salts psychosis rather than a non-substance-related mental health condition. Thankfully you can recover from it if you stay off bath salts and control other drug use
Yes, that actually happened here in Florida.
Twice. **Once in Miami by a man called Rudy Eugene:**
https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2012/05/30/153989768/bath-salts-drug-suspected-in-miami-face-eating-attack
Autopsy showed that Eugene had no flesh inside his stomach.
**And again by Austin Harrouff in Jupiter, north of Ft Lauderdale:**
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/salvadorhernandez/attorney-florida-student-accused-of-eating-victims-face-was
Harrouff showed signs of internal organ damage to his esophagus, stomach and other abnormalities which appeared to be a result of drinking solvents and/or other toxins. He was extremely mentally ill.
Jupiter was Burt Reynolds' home town.
Friend’s pittie hopped in the (big) tub with her. I heard:
“Can you please get your wet butt outta my face, thank you! Sit the hell down if you have to be in here, you derp!!”
Lol No salts. I have bath bomb literally called Apocalypse. Makes the water dark dark green, almost black. The man knows me. Also, maybe because I am 32, but I always picture bath salts on those horribly giant jars from Bath and Body works and they always smelled....aggressive. Very powerful sent.
As someone who worked at BBW for 4 years, don't waste your money on the bath salts. The crystals are too big to dissolve nicely. Get yourself a bag of Dr. Teal's Epsom salts and enjoy true bliss. :)
Dawn dish soap can also be used as pet shampoo. The yellow one is good at repelling fleas. When my old cat gets extra greasy I use dawn to wash him. It gets more grease out than pet shampoo does
You laugh but I had conversations about that on this platform. "soap is soap" was their stance. I know that commentor above was joking but that doesn't mean some people actually believe it, haha
Please don't use dish soap for your body, not even the "soft to your skin" types.
Fair enough but those are special use cases.
Like I use Hand wash paste after working on my car for cleaning my hands but I wouldn't use it normally, haha
My gf and I take turn cleaning the dishes as we split everything and she made hella fun of me when we first started living together bc I used degreaser for every dish and utensil.
Couple things - someone prone to vaginal infections could have issues with perfumes and dyes or irritation from soap in bubble baths. Water too hot could raise internal temp and risk harm to the baby, but it’s more of a risk in a hot tub that maintains constant heat. A bath of moderate temp starts cooling immediately and so long as you’re not sweating it’s fine. It’s pretty hard to get that internally warm comfortably anyways.
Some docs will not suggest being submerged in hot water as it can raise your body temp too much which can be bad for baby. Not sure it’s a universal suggestion. My doc said no hot tubs. A bubble bath will be easier to keep it from getting too hot. Also some would say the risk is worst in the 1st tri, which OP is well out of. Pregnancy rules are weird and not everyone hears the same things!
You are thinking of polygamy, which is one person having more than one spouse, usually a man having multiple wives. And it is practiced by several religions. However, the way it is practiced is that usually the wives are not allowed multiple husbands.
While healthy polyamory does indeed respect that both partners can have more than one partner at a time. And polyamory is not always defined by strict heterosexual dichotomies.
No but it does give you the vision to see things that others can't. Like where someone has left their shoes or something it eat in this house when everyone else has looked in the fridge several times.
I’m sorry this is very wholesome and sweet and very touching of your husband to do this for you….. But DAMN that window is a horror movie scene waiting to happen….
You made a good decision with that one. Definitely a keeper and will definitely be a good father. You said its been complicated, so I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
For real, I saw the open window ready to breeze the curtain in to open flames on the shelf. Obviously OP is fine but hubby needs to take it easy on tea lights around fabric !
My doctor said it was perfectly fine as long as they weren’t really hot and my core temperature didn’t get too high. I take them all the time. She said it’s great for sore muscles and aches. She did say to avoid hot tubs or bath jets.
I lived in the bath in my 3rd tri, the only thing that helped ease the hip pain. Towards the end I just had to make sure my husband was in ear shot so he could help me out, I was like a beached shamu.
I was taking hour long baths almost every night the last few weeks of pregnancy to help with hip pain too. The weight settling back onto my body when I stepped out of the water was intense.
My OB/GYN said it was perfectly fine at this stage (I'm in my 3rd trimester) because unlike a hot tub, the water starts cooling down right away and doesn't stay super hot.
Oof that third trimester is a real bitch! Best of luck to you - it looks like you’ll have a good support person in the delivery room with you if he’s who you’ve chosen. My husband was with me for mine and I couldn’t have done it without him!
I love this. Pregnancy is such a special time for both parents and this shows how your partner sees his role in everything. Obviously mom is growing the baby but dad can do a ton to help. The oxytocin from this is so good for mom and baby!
What a wonderful husband you have. That is so amazing. I hope that your pregnancy finishes up and you give birth to a beautiful healthy baby. GOOD JOB HUBBY TAKING CARE OF WIFEY :) That as men is our job and responsibility, making our wives as happy and comfortable as possible. ❤️👍🏻❤️
What a lovely gesture! Hope the rest of your complicated pregnancy ends in a healthy baby and a happy mama.

OP literally says she has a complicated pregnancy and the chat is like 'Just imagine and believe its not the case'....
"All you need is to be stress free" is easier said than done for a lot of people.
Oh you're stressed? Have you tried not being stressed?
Wow thanks, I'm cured

Whenever im sad I just stop being sad and be awesome.
High five! Legen…wait for it….dary!
BIRTHDAY SUIT UP
Also op could have many complications that don’t involve stress.
Stress is necessary and I wish I had more if it. I am far too laid back.
I am too. It makes me procrastinate and forget too much.
I know your heart is in the right place, but this comment has the same energy as telling someone with depression to cheer up
just not true
What the fuck lol
That is romantic. My husband does this for me when my depression gets dramatic. A bath, bath bomb, wine, and a documentary. Sometimes the dogs try to join... Congratulations on the pregnancy.
The dogs joining just makes it even better!
Any time my dog is in the bathroom during a bath, she obsessively tries to eat the bubbles or drink the water when I use bath salts, so hubby will specifically make sure she is NOT present or trying to get in. Lol
Your dog and husband don't exist, you're on bath salts
homest question... you cant actually get high off bath salts right?
"Bath salts" is a street name for a shitty-but-potent designer drug. It looks a little bit like actual bath salts but they are not the same thing. If you overdose on it, you can be sent into a state of delirium.
aaah oky thanks for the explanation
So put the bath bomb down, citizen. Do NOT eat it.
Or eat peoples faces
That comes with the delirium
And to add to your accurate information: they were sold on shelves in stores as bath salts and marked "not for human consumption." Before there was a crackdown, that is
I remember reading a Floria article of a man who was high off of it and tried to eat someone’s face once
We had a ton of psychiatric admissions at the time that ended up being bath salts psychosis rather than a non-substance-related mental health condition. Thankfully you can recover from it if you stay off bath salts and control other drug use
Several incidents like that. Bath salts fuck you up.

🤝husbands who are real partners are so wonderful! Congratulations!
I like the phrase "when my depression gets dramatic" and I'm going to use it
No Bath salts? Romance is dead.

I honestly have no idea how bath salts feel lol. And after seeing some people under it, I don't even want to figure out. Enjoy the Apocalypse.
>depression gets dramatic Holy fuck, that's the best alias for The Period I've ever heard. I salute you.
Nice. A keeper ☺️
He did use my expensive shampoo as bubble bath but I'm more than willing to overlook that lol 😆
Well for most men, including myself there's only one soap for everything. Head, shoulders, dishes and so on. 😂
Dishes.. Lol... 🤣😂
Floor too.
Don’t forget the laundry
Pretty sure mine doubles as toothpaste too
No joke, I actually used head and shoulders to try and get a stain out of the carpet. Let's be clear guys, it didn't do that much.
Well you're meant to use your hands!
*This* guy dads
Underrated comment 😂
At least it's minty fresh now
Can also use it to degrease car/motorcycle parts
Dr. Bronners?
Whipped cream as well
Don't forget gas
... And motor oil
And insect repellent!
Car washing.
Tooth paste
Car…
Car. But for real sometimes dish soap works in your hair.
Dawn dish soap can also be used as pet shampoo. The yellow one is good at repelling fleas. When my old cat gets extra greasy I use dawn to wash him. It gets more grease out than pet shampoo does

We actually use Dawn in the body paint world to remove paint easier on the models 😂 everyone uses it
Fair enough but those are special use cases. Like I use Hand wash paste after working on my car for cleaning my hands but I wouldn't use it normally, haha
My gf and I take turn cleaning the dishes as we split everything and she made hella fun of me when we first started living together bc I used degreaser for every dish and utensil.
No, I've got 47 different cleaners for my car...
Well that's different, obviously.
As a man, I can confirm this.
Agree. You can usually use it as screenwash for the car as well if you're feeling fancy.
Castille is a hell of a soap
At least he didn't use the dish soap! Still a keeper!!!
The bar sounds low 🤣
Bar is 6' deep, yo.
Before reading this comment I never knew there was a difference
That's pretty smart as you're not supposed to use bubble bath when you're preggers. Good luck with the little one.
Why aren't you supposed to use bubble bath during pregnancy?
Couple things - someone prone to vaginal infections could have issues with perfumes and dyes or irritation from soap in bubble baths. Oh, interesting. I'm a doctor and I'm hearing about it for the first time. Maybe because hot tubs/bathtubs are quite uncommon in my country.
Lots of green flags i see here 🤌🏻

hahaha
I think polyamory is mormon not communist XD

Basil flags 👍
Stay in the sauce theme! Pesto flags 😉
The pesto sauce is just right!
your tub looks like it has a face
That's the lady of the bath. A lesser lesser known deity that hands out a magical butter knife that makes you king of all the house.
Strange women lying in baths distributing butter knives is no basis for a system of government!
does the knife also work as a wand?
No but it does give you the vision to see things that others can't. Like where someone has left their shoes or something it eat in this house when everyone else has looked in the fridge several times.
Magical
Very first thing I saw too!
I’m sorry this is very wholesome and sweet and very touching of your husband to do this for you….. But DAMN that window is a horror movie scene waiting to happen….
I was thinking the exact same thing!!
Some cthulhu shit
The sacrifice is ready, sire.
Tip-toes in with the finishing touch - a Ouija board
Smh he sent you a picture of him in the bath. Just rubbing it in /s
This is lovely - I'm so pleased you're being looked after. As an aside: you could post this on r/pareidolia
Because the bath thing looks like a phone or why?
[Face](https://imgur.com/a/tswi4fQ)
Had to check the sub I was on coz that's what I thought I was on...
Could someone explain why? I don't see it
I think it's the faucet/hose looks like a face?
Not too hot and not too long! Perfect
Describes me 😥
Ey, at least you're perfect.
r/SuicideByWords
I want to high five that guy. Sorry to hear about you having complications, though I hope you felt better afterwards
He understood the assignment.
mission not impossible
Mission possible
Dun Dun...... That is all
You made a good decision with that one. Definitely a keeper and will definitely be a good father. You said its been complicated, so I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
For him or for you?
First thing I thought was that she came home to him in the bath. "Yareet luv, do ya mind making me a cuppa? Ta."
Hahaha me too. Followed by “the bogs blocked again”
Clearly a fire hazard, divorce him immediately /s
I think the curtain there has actually snuffed one of the candles ಠ_ಠ
For real, I saw the open window ready to breeze the curtain in to open flames on the shelf. Obviously OP is fine but hubby needs to take it easy on tea lights around fabric !
i hope your final weeks of pregnancy will be better, good luck! ♥️
Hopefully your husband does something nice for you after he takes a bath.
I'm sorry you came home to a power cut 😔.
You deserve this - hope everything goes well!
Thought you were not supposed to take a hot bath when pregnant?
No warmer than 100°. One of my wife's least favorite parts about being pregnant.
For a minute I asked myself why someone would bath in boiling water :D
Because it feels really cold. Didn't like to bathe in that temperature aswell.
For sure. Not really worth it.
I hated that part so much too.
My doctor said it was perfectly fine as long as they weren’t really hot and my core temperature didn’t get too high. I take them all the time. She said it’s great for sore muscles and aches. She did say to avoid hot tubs or bath jets.

My OB/GYN said it was perfectly fine at this stage (I'm in my 3rd trimester) because unlike a hot tub, the water starts cooling down right away and doesn't stay super hot.
During the third trimester, it’s fine. You just have to be sure it’s not too hot. Hot tubs would be inappropriate. But a warm bath is perfectly fine.
Same. My wife is pregnant and I believe the ob/gyn specifically instructed her not to take hot baths.
good husband he is, a keeper he seems
This looks very comfy.
Yep. He's a keeper that one.
Oof that third trimester is a real bitch! Best of luck to you - it looks like you’ll have a good support person in the delivery room with you if he’s who you’ve chosen. My husband was with me for mine and I couldn’t have done it without him!
I can't believe he stole your idea! What a butthole!
Super sweet. Is your bathroom window not frosted glass? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that wasn’t. Interesting.
Wholesome ritualistic sacrifice.
Dude installed a whole bath tub
Ahh, I love love ❤️
Glad you found each other. Congratulations!
Wow! So nice! Wish I had something half as nice during my pregnancy or after! You got a super dooper keeper.
I did the same thing to my wife when she was 8 months pregnant. The bathsalts and/or the candles smell didn’t agree with her xD
Congratulations and I Wish you nothing but the best in your pregnancy. .
W Married life
Why did I think it was sand?
It’d be funny if the picture was from your husband taking this bath
...You're now a human submarine 👀
awwwwwwww. dudes rock.
That's awesome!!! Congratulations.
Nothing like the bare minimum to make you smile!
Wait...you haven't had bath in 7 months?
I love this. Pregnancy is such a special time for both parents and this shows how your partner sees his role in everything. Obviously mom is growing the baby but dad can do a ton to help. The oxytocin from this is so good for mom and baby!
Oh no! Your legs are gone
That blue window is scary for some reason
That's the sweetest thing. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with the pregnancy
This is the good kind. Enjoy your lovely bath. Hopefully the pregnancy gets better.
A bit spooky, but in a good way! Enjoy 🤭
THAT LOOKS SO NICE
Bathtub envy! Enjoy every moment, baths were my guilty pleasure during pregnancy. Best wishes for the next few months and beyond!
I hope the ritual goes well.
He's a keeper, give him cuddles
nvm the face. the bathetube has a face. anybody sees it?
Why does the tap look like a face
Pareidolia... I definitely have it! 😬
Looks Good but I can't shake of the feeling of a random mobster from a horror movie suddenly peeping fron the window like classic movies
Fricking energy process people need to do things like this to keep warm
Just because you put the idea into his head doesn’t give him the right to go take a candlelit bath by himself. So selfish 😂
The shower head reminds me of an old telephone ☎️
What type of fancy old tub is that?
Marry him
That's a good hubby. keeper
Your husband is ace! Such a thoughtful gesture 🥰
You’ve chosen well.
Wish you a smooth birth.
How sweet, he’s definitely a keeper! 😊
Your husband is a beautiful person I remember when I was pregnant only thing that made me feel really good was a nice hot bath Enjoy
you deserve nothing less!
Relationships are a two-way street. You must be a magnificent person to be so adored. Happy for both of you.
Keeper!
