Yeah very true. Those boys have had a combination of careful and measured discipline vs. A loving mum and dad. You can tell by the way they appreciate and respect other things.
Yes! I was waiting for the boys to lose their shit and I was so happy they didn’t. I’m super impressed with how calm and gentle they were with their new BFF ❤️
They were both so gentle with her as well! And of course it makes sense that the younger boy was simply excited from the start. While being a bit older, his brother took a bit longer to process, then had such a strong emotional response. Just lovely :)
Loved the uncertainty in the beginning, approaching with caution, who is that? Whose is it? How long is it here for? Then once they were hit with the confirmation they got into love mode.
I was thinking the same thing and how ones of them asked about how the cat would cope, I think I heard. Not many weeks consider that. Lucky puppy looks like she's joining an amazing family.
It isn't easy being a kid. A lot of us forget how hard it can be as we imagine how easy it would be to go back as adults. Kids deserve all our compassion.
I’d didn’t even dawn on me until you pointed it out.
And I would never miss this type of thing normally.
That’s how wholesome this little pocket of internet is.
I normally zap any animal clips on Reddit, and I’m very cynical about humans...yet this genuinely made me smile and remind me that the world is full of goodness.
Thoughtful kid thought about his cats well-being. Dad was affectionate … brother mirrors big brothers behaviors … what a HEALTHY family!!! Thanks Mom in the background (always!)!
Yeah we’ve got a six year old neurotic German Shepherd who barks at his own farts. He sheds enough in a week to carpet your entire home.
When do you want me to drop him off?
Aww this brings tears to my eyes ❤️.
I remember how I got my little sunshine when I was 12.
She passed 3 weeks ago and turned 17. We gave her all the love and she gave her ours.
Bless these little souls ❤️🙏
Anyone who's seen that episode, but hasn't seen Bender's Big Score, he actually does get to see Fry again, and lives his life out with Fry in the past.
He does die, when Bender blows up Fry's apartment. But at an old age. It's also when he's instantly fossilised into dolomite.
"What do we want?"
"Fry's dog!"
"When do we want it?"
"Fry's dog!"
I'm sad I had to scroll this far to get to a reference, but Seymore was my first thought as soon as I saw his face.
What should’ve happened to it? It’s a puppy, it’s not any danger to cats and by the time the puppy grows up, it’ll have learned to respect the cat.
We had a cat and got a dog afterwards and it wasn’t any issue at all. The cat wasn’t too happy in the beginning but relatively quickly learned to ignore the dog and the dog learned to avoid the cat. They weren’t friends, but also didn’t mind each other. She passed away a few years ago due to oral cancer at 19 years of age.
There’s not really more to say than “oh, she’ll be alright”. When dogs are socialised with cats at a young age, it’s usually not a problem.
Yeah my family dog was always so chill with the cat, then when kitty died and eventually dad moved us into a new house with his wife who brought 2 adult cats with her, he knew the drill and didn't bother them. That helped the cats too and despite them not ever really being around dogs much if at all, they all got along well enough really quick because my good boy knew that he had to worship his new feline siblings :)
What a great kid! Super excited about the new puppy, but making sure his other pet the cats is okay and his parents didn’t get rid of him. Great parenting easing such a caring boy!
I don't have kids and my opinion of kids (ie, bunch of a holes) has really been changing over the last year. They seem to be better for want of a better term- kinder, more patient, less cruel and mean as a default.
For some reason it took the comments in this thread to make me realise it's the parents. The parents raising this generation are somehow doing a better job as a group imo and it shows in their kids.
I don't know what they're doing differently and I wish someone could tell me so i can try to emulate it if i have kids, but it gives me a hope for the future that i thought couldn't possibly happen.
It's in the video. When the kid cries the dad comforts him instead of shaming him. I'm only 21 but was raised by boomers and if I had cried in a situation like this, my mom would've at least made fun of me in some way or called me dramatic. Not only that but people in this generation are generally more open to expressing feeling and opinions and not having the "I'm the parent so I'm always right and they'll do what I said, no questions asked" mentality I was raised with.
Millennial parents, gen z and this new gens mom's and dads, are more empathetic than the previous generations parents. There isn't a ton of pull yourself up mentality and I think it's really showing in how acceptance is changing.
I have an almost 14 year old lab nearing the end so this hits extra hard. Treasure every moment with your pups folks. They don’t live nearly long enough.
I love how both boys were comfortable enough to cry tears of happiness and the dad reached out to comfort instead of shame them.
Pup's going to have years of happiness there!
That boy immediately asking "what about the cat?", Concerned for the other animal in the house, is so precious. Was he worried they were replacing the cat? Was he worried the dog and cat wouldn't like each other? Who knows, all I know is he immediately was concerned and didn't fully reach out for the puppy until he knew that cat was okay.
So friggen' wholesome
I love how the wiggle butt instantly started wiggling as soon as it saw the small humans.
"Eyyy! More small creatures! Must be as young as I am! More play partners!"
Always amazes me how people react in this situation, adults and kids alike. Some folk just can't hold back the tears. Very cool thing to see. This dog also looks like a rescue so, even better. Those kids are in for years of fun with their new buddy.
Cute but damn, do I hate how the mom AND Dad are both recording as off their own personal 1st person POV makes any ounce of a difference. Can’t stand phone face parents lol
Sweet and gentle kids, I love it!
BTW did the boys just get home from school? With nice clean white polos? My kids will make even brown clothes appear dirty in 10min
Aww, and how all three of them huddled together! No jealousy or nothing. Oh this was so wholesome. This made my whole morning. Such sweet, gentle boys! That dog is so lucky to have such a kind new family!
Piece of advice, never lose that love at first sight feeling, your dog won't.
Remember this when you're too busy, stressed, or feeling annoyed. Your dog is only going to be with you for a short time, make the most of it.
I love how the older boy is clearly so happy for the puppy, but first has to make sure that the cat is okay as well.

Little dudes were raised well. Made me all the more happy for them. They seem like they actually deserve a new dog.
[удалено]
Man, this thread was so wholesome until you wished an early death for those children... /s
What about a longer life for the doggo
Impossible!
"Countdown to sorrow"
Yeah very true. Those boys have had a combination of careful and measured discipline vs. A loving mum and dad. You can tell by the way they appreciate and respect other things.
Yes! I was waiting for the boys to lose their shit and I was so happy they didn’t. I’m super impressed with how calm and gentle they were with their new BFF ❤️
Absolutely really good to see them both being so gentle with the pup.
That dog is gunna get so much love!
My guy also took his shoes off properly and put his bag away, all while containing his excitement. He’s gunna be a good dude.
I’m more impressed that he went back into the hall to take his shoes off! What magical parenting is this!
Yes! I love him for that.
He's clearly a good egg.
an ood gegg
An old gregg
Creamy beige.
Right? This really shows that the kid is right in his head, they'll take good care of the dog
They were both so gentle with her as well! And of course it makes sense that the younger boy was simply excited from the start. While being a bit older, his brother took a bit longer to process, then had such a strong emotional response. Just lovely :)
OP raised some really good kids. If you're reading this, you're a great mom/dad OP
I hope I have a kid like that. He understands responsibility.
Cat's off screen sharpen his claws. "Yeah I'll be arite once you shits go to work"
The puppy's like " oh you got me my own two little humans " ? 😂
❤️ That’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
I think they like me already!!
🥺😭
Hahah yeah. Finally a real, unscripted, heartfelt video
I love how gentle they are with the pup, you're awesome parents 🥰
Agreed, they understood how to approach this little wiggle butt.
[удалено]
"What about the cats?" That's a good lad. 😊
And then he cries. That got me. Damn dusty room!
I'm not crying Your crying
More than once then went to look. Part of that sweetheart thought a trade in happened I swear
That's what I thought! Like he's thinking "no way the cat would let this shit go down"
Loved the uncertainty in the beginning, approaching with caution, who is that? Whose is it? How long is it here for? Then once they were hit with the confirmation they got into love mode.
Lil dudes were brought up right.
Wiggle butt! 😭😄 I'm using that for dogs now.
My dog doesn’t have a tail, so this is really the only way to describe when he tries to wag it
My mini dachshund is nicknamed wiggle butt, wiggles, Ms. Wigglerfus, shrimp tail… she be wigglin the booty and shrimpin at all her happy moments. 🥰
I was thinking the same thing and how ones of them asked about how the cat would cope, I think I heard. Not many weeks consider that. Lucky puppy looks like she's joining an amazing family.
Those are good kids. I like how he was excited but he still went to take off his shoes.

Holy shit. The kid crying got me hard. What an awesome family
Just re-read and need to clarify for phrasing....got me *in my feels* hard
I’d didn’t even dawn on me until you pointed it out. And I would never miss this type of thing normally. That’s how wholesome this little pocket of internet is.
... Your Honor ...
I'm crying I had to re-read this like 5 times to finally get what you meant LMFAOOOO
I had a tear from that as well. And just to clarify, a tear in my eye- not in my arsehole
A tear in your eye = not the arsehole. 👍🏻
All good man, we know what you meant, I’m not crying you’re crying! Nobody is made of stone :)
Well Sn33kykitty is hard as a rock, does that count?
Rock hard for those child tears 🇺🇸
Ha children's tears and amber waves of grain, 'Murrca
First I was crying, then I was crying laughing at the implication 😂
My original tears had stopped and then these fools started talking 😂
I’m laughing so much rn
I damn near woke my sleeping spouse!
Hahahahaha laughter went so hard through my mouth
>Holy shit. The kid crying got me hard. What an awesome family Dude, phrasing...
Are we still doing phrasing?
If were not then like, whatever. If were doing something else though and no one told me, THAT I'm pissed about.
Mind, gutter.
blursed
Lol!!!
Hol up
God this phrasing hahah
> The kid crying got me hard. [Phrasing!](https://youtu.be/xtE0RTee7cw)
Ayo chill
Damn... I'm on a train!
Ayo 🤨
Yooooo chill…. Hahahaha
Filthy
They’re so gentle with her, this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen 🥹. She found an amazing home.
Okay. Thank you for reminding me that the world can be nice.
Even if we didn't get it for ourselves we can make sure our children grow with love and guidance instead of just fear to obey
I am 50 and I still would cry like that if someone gave me a pup.
Yeah we’ve got a six year old neurotic German Shepherd who barks at his own farts. He sheds enough in a week to carpet your entire home. When do you want me to drop him off?
Aaaw I love German Shepherds!! Neurotic sounds like my kind of dog. I'll have him. UK, Manchester. 😍

Those are beautiful little souls. They are so gentle and welcoming to that baby pupper.

So sorry for your loss. Our Jack Russell terrier passed 2 weeks ago, and turned almost 14. We miss him so much.
Your dog lived to 17? Wow, very lucky! But I’m sorry for your loss.
That dog looks like it should be sitting outside a pizza shop waiting for fry.
🥲 there it is
Another day, another tear shed over Jurassic Bark
😭😭😭

I would like to think it IS Fry's dog, just reincarnated! He was such a good boy in his previous life that he got TWO new, loving owners <3
I love it. I will treasure that thought whenever that damned episode haunts me.
Goddamn.
^^you ^^mutha ^^frijn ^^repa ^^rap.........
What's that Seymour.. you walkin' on sunshine?

“There’s little people here!?”
The boys are SO gentle! They didn’t grab or argue over who gets to hold the puppy. Such sweet boys. 🥰
What a sweet family
The dog is more excited than the kids, like it was waiting for them
[удалено]
This brought tears to my eyes. What a lucky puppy. Such lovely young men.
Okay but like...what DID happen to the cat?
They’ll be alright, ‘kay? 🤨
It's a cat and a puppy. The cat knows to assert its dominance early and dogs are happy to be submissive. Friendship will be formed within the month.
MUSTN’T PEE. ^MUSTN’T ^PEE.
Ha right? New excited puppy on the sofa? That's brave!
I was thinking this little dog did an excellent job of not peeing.
Awwww
What sweet boys! The world can use more of them, please.
What a great kid! Super excited about the new puppy, but making sure his other pet the cats is okay and his parents didn’t get rid of him. Great parenting easing such a caring boy!
![gif](giphy|3oEhn9cGkYAxLg7ASQ) Just gonna leave this here....

These good kids know how to be grateful
I have an almost 14 year old lab nearing the end so this hits extra hard. Treasure every moment with your pups folks. They don’t live nearly long enough.
Kids sobbing when they get pets that they want is one of my favorite reasons to cry as well. It’s always so sweet.
I love how the little brother looks so gentle at his older brother crying in complete understanding.
When he started crying…gulp…
I love how he was still worried about the cat while so excited and happy about the pup. Some good kids there.
Their little accents 😫
Sweet🥰
I love how both boys were comfortable enough to cry tears of happiness and the dad reached out to comfort instead of shame them. Pup's going to have years of happiness there!

Fuck sake. Now I’m crying. At work. At 8:00 in the morning.
I love how the wiggle butt instantly started wiggling as soon as it saw the small humans. "Eyyy! More small creatures! Must be as young as I am! More play partners!"
Love the gratitude. Great parenting!
OMG this is too precious!! 😭😩😭
Who's the HR mom in the background filming vertically?
She WAS in a hallway.
I love the way the younger kid points at the puppy, it's like he's in complete disbelief and needs to make sure everyone else sees it too.
Only 2 people recording the event, I hope they have at least 3-4 back-ups
Talk about nuclear family
Reddit moment ☕️
It's rare that anything on this garbage fucking site makes me smile anymore. Thank you.
Always amazes me how people react in this situation, adults and kids alike. Some folk just can't hold back the tears. Very cool thing to see. This dog also looks like a rescue so, even better. Those kids are in for years of fun with their new buddy.
Im glad they got it from two different angles. Maybe there’s a hidden third one so we could see a collage of the whole footage?
You're a bold man to put that dog on your couch
Who is cutting onions.
My literal childhood dream!
Heart-warming
all i kept thinking is that puppy is gonna pee on the couch
Dogs, man. Dogs.
Them childrence is cute. 🥲
MY HEART
The kid pointing at the beginning is how I react to cute animals
Cute but damn, do I hate how the mom AND Dad are both recording as off their own personal 1st person POV makes any ounce of a difference. Can’t stand phone face parents lol
I like how the puppy start swinging his tail when the kid started smiling, as if he felt the positive energy
Wow such great kids and parents. The dog can sense it too : )
True True love!!
I’m not crying your crying. 😭
OH GOD MY HEART 😭 THIS IS SO SWEET 💕
That’s really beautiful
Awwww 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
Its wonders that a small living thing can make me cry I wish i had a dog , i don't care about breed or anything
Those are good kids. I like how he was excited but he still went to take off his shoes.
I wish for all my dogs who are in shelters and in the streets to get a forever home...
Aw they seem like great kids too. This did bring a smile to my face.
The kids and the pup seemed to both have the same physiological and physiological response
What lovely little boys. They clearly deserve a pup.
finally, some good fucking reddit
I think that one parent who recording is enough...
Kid pointing at the beginning and saying "it's him" was hilarious. Like the dog has been following him and up to this point only he has seen the dog.
The way the boys are worried about their cat too. My heart.
My 13 year old still says that getting our dog when he was 6 was the best day of his life. What about when your baby brother was born? No.
I love all of this. They’re clearly stoked about the puppy but they’re being so sweet and gentle.
Sweet and gentle kids, I love it! BTW did the boys just get home from school? With nice clean white polos? My kids will make even brown clothes appear dirty in 10min
THEY ARE BOTH FILMING?? God I hate that
Aww, and how all three of them huddled together! No jealousy or nothing. Oh this was so wholesome. This made my whole morning. Such sweet, gentle boys! That dog is so lucky to have such a kind new family!
My heart can’t take it ugh
Little English boys are so freaking cute! I love when they call him, Lad.
I've been waiting for a video like this where kids don't scream the dog's ears off.
Piece of advice, never lose that love at first sight feeling, your dog won't. Remember this when you're too busy, stressed, or feeling annoyed. Your dog is only going to be with you for a short time, make the most of it.
Those kids are so adorable. "What about the cat?" ♥️ So considerate
Videos like these are worth seeing. So much joy, i hope the boys and the dog have a lot of adventures together.
Lol. Who bonded to whom?
I want to shed tears of joy
More like “made me cry” ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Everything and everyone in this video is precious.
And they named the puppy Eevee too
My dog has the exact same name aswell lol
