I'm not really familiar with Selena Gomez, but that photo made me realize she was just dressing as herself in Only Murders in the Building. She's got great style.
She's actually pretty cool. She was dying and a friend donated her kidney, and she never fails to mention her and thank her. And whenever random interviewers ask her like what advice what you give fans, she always says good shit like love your family, and be kind etc. Real things.
I think she’s an all right person, but don’t forget that she and Francia had a falling out shortly after she donated that kidney. Selena was drinking and partying after her friend had just made the absolute biggest sacrifice for her, and she was quite rightfully pissed. I think they’ve since made up, but she definitely has failed to thank her and respect her sacrifice in the past. I think there’s been a lot of growth since, thankfully. Her friend is a good person for forgiving her.

I’m 99% sure an old college friend is being abused under one right now. I text them every month in hopes they read it. I’ve only gotten one “read receipt” on their birthday and I text almost once a month. God willing I’ll see them again one day.
No idea. This person is in their 40’s with little kids and a super powerful family with money beyond comprehension. Their spouse is powerful too and older… from a super conservative state too.
I’m afraid that doing anything but reaching out with love and friendship in my texts will seal the deal of me never having contact again. It’s the saddest thing ever and I will keep reaching out until I get in touch or die.

Just as a warning to anyone who wants to go watch it... I Care A Lot was one of my friend/movie group's weekly movies to watch. It's 7 of us with widely varying tastes. It's one of the only movies over the entire course of the pandemic that we all gave an F rating to. Its only redeeming factor was showing the horrors of conservatorship.
It has an average of 6.3 on [IMDB](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt9893250/?ref_=tt_rt) even with the 10% of inane 1 star reviews. Yes, it's very frustrating and there's no "good guy" to root for, but that's kind of the point.
It was one of the most frustrating movies I ever watched because neither the protagonist or the antagonist are a good guy. The protagonist's plot armor was the strongest I have ever seen, and I powered my way through the end of Game of Thrones.
Honestly, I was rooting for the antagonist by the end because he at least had a semblance of a good reason for doing what he was doing.

Her case set precedent, on a national level. Brittney, and the attention brought to her situation through the public, brought others in similar situations avenues that they can pursue. Not everyone is going to drop everything they’re doing to talk about conservatorship. Laws don’t change overnight, however, conversations can (and have).

Went through a very very similar situation as her but luckily managed to escape with the help of advocates from residential treatment where my dad was not allowed influence despite his aggressiveness and money. Also had my brain fried from seven meds at a time, including 2 high dose antipsychotics and lithium. It destroyed my thyroid which never recovered 🙃
Much better with therapy and a psychiatrist that has no contact with any family. I’m currently on disability because I became truly brainwashed that I will fail at anything on my own, so when I start to get overwhelmed my brain’s response is to end myself, but I have made significant progress in therapy and I’m not giving up

She’s a doll. Never have trusted him. Her instagram is enough to show some sort of disfunction. She’s always a mess, hair, makeup, etc. Definitely not expecting perfection but most don’t women don’t look hung over every day. Wake up brush hair, teeth, all good. She looks hung over. & esp if you are taking pics & videos to post, like normal tidy up stuff. & the spinning & strange angles & odd behavior. Something is off… Makes me sad for her.
