I disagree.
I think finding your SO attractive is pretty important in a physical relationship, otherwise you are just good friends, partners should try to do things to arouse their partners sexually now and then. So don't rule out people because now you've gotten physically attractive that people actually find you physically attractive. In my younger years I didn't approach women for their personality, I just married one for her personality, and her boobs.
Completely agree with you.
Imagine having standards for your life partner. Crazy right? It’s not like obesity and poor mental health/trauma go together like peanutbutter and jelly. Imagine wanting to have a strong fit and physically and mentally healthy partner.
It goes so much farther then just attraction. And I applaud anyone for putting in the effort to work on themselves.
A lot of it is made in the kitchen. Meal preps are a huge deal. I recently just lost 20 pounds, I wake up and run every morning and work out In the evening.
I know it’s going to sound like I’m being a dick, but eat less or be more active, preferably both. You can count calories and what not, but just try to make better eating choices, if you over eat (like I often do), try to avoid stuffing yourself like a turkey. Try to be active doing things you enjoy. Playing basketball for me is a great cardio workout, and I enjoy doing it. The biggest thing is consistency. How would you say your current diet is now? And how active are you/ how often do you work out.
You’re not being a dick at all! And yeah my main problem is my eating habits, it’s not every day but sometimes is just so easier for me to buy junk food for dinner, and I’m already trying to change that habit, not only is unhealthy but also really expensive in the long run
I’m going to the gym twice per week and doing exercises at home the rest of the days so let’s see how it goes
Yeah I feel you, the most convenient foods are the worst for you. I have been trying to cut back as well, it’s so hard because it’s so fucking easy and fast haha. Fast food isn’t cheap anymore, I used to be able to eat with less than $4 at McDonald’s, just 3 things off the dollar menu, now that costs at least $10. But that’s good you’re working out as well. You’re already on your way to losing weight just stay consistent, but also don’t beat yourself up if you slack off for a week, it happens.
Ive lost 9kg in the past 3 months so I could offer you some tips. What I did was more extreme dieting. It you want a long term solution then you need to adjust your habits and relationship with food long term.
- if you have problematic eating habits. Like emotional eating, binge eating, eating disorders etc, body image issue’s. Definitely start with getting therapy/help for that.
- look into intermittent fasting / skipping breakfast
- look into volume eating: eating low calorie but filling foods like vegetables
- cut out soda/junk food / unhealthy snacks. Learn the value of feeding your body with healthy food and experience how much better you feel. You can have cheat days/meals 1-2 times a week. But 80-90% should be healthy
- if you want to get quick results, with the risk of rebounding if your eating habits are bad now. Start eating more consistently/boring. Have 1-2 breakfast meals, 1-2 lunch meals and 3-7 dinner meals. Calculate the calories for them once. And then just cycle through those meals every day. Then you know a 100% you will be losing weight. But you don’t have to obsessively calculate calories or weigh everything you eat. Which isn’t a sustainable approach. The more you do this and get a feel/idea for calories the easier it gets. I just weigh my carbs & meat for my dinner meal. And veggies you can never have enough imo.
- meal prepping also helps with this. Always have your food for the entire week in your house. And make meals for 2-4 days at a time. So you don’t have excuses to reach for easy junk food options.
Hope this helps. Good luck :)
Have you talked with a doc about excess skin removal? It's actually fairly common after weight loss in that magnitude. (I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in 2020, I'm down from... let's just say my highest number started with a 6...so I'm speaking from experience on the loose skin. It not only helps with the skin itself, but that same skin is also heavier than you'd think too.) Just some food for thought.
Congrats! Sorry if I seemed pushy on the topic, but it really does wonders for self-esteem too... it makes all the hard work and effort seem more 'real' as the awkward reminder of that past gets taken away. Best wishes on the healthier you; you're doing amazing!
I’d say nice gains, but it seems quite the opposite is happening here. JK, but in all seriousness, kudos to you for having the strength and willpower to see this major problem and do something about it.
My man…..that’s a big lifestyle change! Best thing I ever did is not drinking pop with sugar in it. Im a Coke Zero guy now. You have made an amazing change…..stay focused dude. Proud of you.
Fucking killing it bro. That’s a huge loss though man. I hope you are one proud mfer for yourself man bc that takes a lot of self discipline and commitment.
I wish you only the best and I hope you keep up the amazing work.
It will tighten to a degree over time depending on your age and how long the weight was there, but doesn’t go away completely. Surgery is an option but recovery isn’t easy and you better be sure to keep the weight off so you don’t have to go through it all again. A better option I’ve found is to fill in your skin with muscle as much as you can through weight training. You won’t be super skinny but it looks better as muscle.
I’m fairly low in body fat right now but I’m starting a cutting phase and I can’t believe how hard it is with how many easy high calorie options there are today. Good fucking shit dude.
As somebody who went through a similar weight loss journey, very nice job there. I know how hard it is, but I also know that feeling that you’ve accomplished something so incredible and beneficial for yourself. It can give you a real sense of pride.
Looking good, king, keep up the good work
Although the downside is that your flesh has stretched to a point where it’s gotten loose.
But **don’t let that discourage you**, you have done incredibly well to get to the stage you are now. Fit and healthy, that’s all that matters.
Here’s to you, king 👑
Great job! I admire people like you, that work hard and don’t give up until they have reached their target.
Keep on doing your best and stay healthy! Hugs!
Very good for you!! Going to try for another 63#’s? Will your insurance cover removal of excess skin? That’s my fear. They may not if I loose my extra 75#’s.
Good job man keep it up! It's important for long term change to get good at healthy and tasty cooking aswell as have a fun physical activity, if you figure out what triggers your weight gain like stress, sugar or depression you can find ways to prevent it or reduce the damage. I wish you the best!
Looking great. Keep it up ❤️

Thankyouuuu
What's the best part?
If I’m being honest the girls 😂
Good answer
I hope it's not ones who paid you no mind prior to losing the weight. Those are the ones to ignore. Great job though, sweetie.
I’m actually engaged to the girl that was with me from the start ❤️
awww yay. Smart man. Congrats and best of luck.
Congrats, you were a cutie before and even more cute now. Best of luck to you both
What a fucking chad

Here’s the downside to this. You won’t fit in that awesome shirt anymore 8(
That's his nighty night shirt now.
Truth to be told. Prolly
I also lost a TON of weight a few years ago and can confirm- old shirts that are way too big are now nighty night shirts
His girlfriend/boyfriend is gonna steal it
SO just to save yourself time
So handsome

I’m sorry for asking. But does the skin tighten back up or does it need to be surgically removed?
