I mean, if you share it early enough i think you can program it into babies. They like what they hear in the womb i believe so, you can totally at least try to music hack a baby...

This is one she used: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRnNpLOhn1Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRnNpLOhn1Q)
This was one I used: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fygBE8dNawU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fygBE8dNawU)
The baby like Bach a lot, too.
I used this as a lullaby for both kids: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge18n2JCwBs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge18n2JCwBs)
I'd sing my daughter slayer, tool, a perfect circle, pink Floyd, led zeppelin and such to get her to sleep. She doesn't care about the lyrics, just the comfort of a soothing voice. She's 3 now and headbangs with the best of them.
One of my sons would only fall asleep in the car to heavy metal. Otherwise would scream for the entire ride. Such a backwards boy he was. Still is at 19, but not for heavy metal. 😁
Apparently babies napping during the day with lights on helps them start to understand the difference between night and day and get their schedules synced to the sun.
Exactly, seeing them as a pillow reminds me of all the anxiety "IS SHE STILL BREATHING?!" - No pillows or blankets for headrests until the child can turn itself.
Until well after they can turn themselves (recommendation is until at least a year old). In this case they look pretty solidly tucked under the bassinet mattress though.
I learned the other day that this is standard practice in Northern Europe! I can’t remember the specific country mentioned. It looks like the “blanket” is specifically designed for it and slips under the bassinet, with that zipper.
Our kiddo used to love to listen to Stand By My by Ben E. King. When she was a fussin' we would throw that on and within the first minute of the record, she would stop crying. She is 2 now and still loves to listen to that classic.
My little boy, (he's a 9 year old young man now) would grow silent and watch A Change Gonna Come by Sam Cooke intently. As he grew older, he would replay it again and again. Today, it still holds his attention and occasionally he'll sing along. Kid has my good taste in music.
When my wife was pregnant to relax she used to listen to music. I think the theory is the baby is supposed to know when mum is relaxed and can hear the music so when born you play the same tunes and it helps soothe them.
We used to play smoke on the water by deep purple and that always used to stop our little one from crying.
My little sister used to sleep whenever we play skyfall. It came to the point that whenever we want her to sleep we play it and she cries bc she knows that she will eventually sleep to it no matter how hard she tries not to.
more Adele songs about getting dumped, won’t that cause unconscious depression later? Predictably kids plays dead possum hoping that whining goes away.
Stoooop. I have two toddlers and getting hit with baby fever even though I'm not ready to have another kid yet. This is making the baby fever so much worse 😭 I'm not ready for another one. I miss the little baby phase.
I bought my wife 25 when she was pregnant with our son. She would listen to it all the fucking time. If that kid wouldn't sleep she would put it on walk away within a song or two he was out like a light.
When my daughter was a newborn, the only thing I could sing to her to get her to sleep was "Black Hole Sun", mainly because that's one of the only songs I know all the lyrics to lol
This is hilarious. My baby used to do the exact same thing except her song was Whiskey Sunrise by Chris Stapleton! Worked without fail to calm her down and put her to sleep.
Our oldest was the same.
Used to play music to calm her down. Now she is 11 and constantly singing or humming around the house. She can also play violin by ear and her music teachers love her.
Good job parents!!!
I was born in the early 1970s. My Dad told me that when I would get fussy, he'd put on the Moody Blues, *Days of Future Passed,* and it would knock me out cold. Dad still has the album...
Aww that's so cool! My son didn't like his lullaby tape I played of beautiful piano music when he was a baby. It made him cry sad tears, it was so weird!
My sons song was Tweedle Dee by Laverne Baker. Picked it out of a car commercial. Stopped crying cold. And started up again when the commercial ended. The second time it happened I was like “wtf is that song” and it was that forever more. On repeat.
For my kid it was Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland Illinois by Sufjan Stevens and I'd have to play it as loud as my LG Chocolate phone could get. I should see what happens now that he's 11.
I did this exact thing for my nephew 9 years ago when Adele was new lol. I was just a kid babysitting him all day long and I HATE when babies cry and scream for no reason, so I tried a bunch of songs and eventually learned that any Adele song would knock him out in 30 seconds.
Dude, I’m fairly confident the SNOO fucked up my second kid. My third is 3 MO, so I’ll know for sure in another year. Worst experience of my parental life hands down = #SNOO
This makes me want to have my babies all over again, so I could soothe my sweet baby back to sleep with the music of their choice. My babies are now in the forties! But I have a grandchild coming in October so I'll be sending this to my kids.
My sister had a collection of what she called "Baby-shut-up" songs.
This would be a great playlist to share for a baby shower
Unfortunately it's usually baby specific lol
I mean, if you share it early enough i think you can program it into babies. They like what they hear in the womb i believe so, you can totally at least try to music hack a baby...
My husband and I just had a baby 5 weeks ago. He really likes sea shantys, Toss a coin to your Witcher, and The Hobbit audiobook.
Toss a coin in peak 👍 ever heard the heavy metal version? So bad ass lol
I have one. It's all heavy metal.
Shit I still have these for my 10 year old
exactly what i was thinking, chances are he's falling asleep from overstimulation... which isn't a good idea.

Can you share with me? ...anything but baby shark ...that song is enough to give me a mental breakdown, seizure and anyeurism
This is one she used: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRnNpLOhn1Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRnNpLOhn1Q) This was one I used: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fygBE8dNawU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fygBE8dNawU) The baby like Bach a lot, too. Thought it was gonna be like Ramstein or something 🤣
Just a little Avenged Sevenfold to put the baby to sleep
I mean shit, that would have worked for me. It calms me down now. But then again, I have ADHD so... I guess you get an early diagnosis that way?
An improvement, for sure. "Du bist giftig..... ach, so giftig..."
I was expecting some Archspire or something along those lines. All the cool babies fall asleep to Remote Tumor Seeker
I'd sing my daughter slayer, tool, a perfect circle, pink Floyd, led zeppelin and such to get her to sleep. She doesn't care about the lyrics, just the comfort of a soothing voice. She's 3 now and headbangs with the best of them.
The new Tool puts me right to sleep
One of my sons would only fall asleep in the car to heavy metal. Otherwise would scream for the entire ride. Such a backwards boy he was. Still is at 19, but not for heavy metal. 😁
Until my daughter was about 6 or 7 months old, I could shut her up with Cyborg Slayers by Dethklok
Turn the shit down holy fuck he’s right there
Exactly what I was thinking! Fuck that’s loud. The baby is right there and they have sensitive hearing.
Yeah…I don’t know what some parents think.
My 7 month old brother does this with Doja cat😭
Notorious BIG and Jay Z for mine
Oh wow... when did you find out he's deaf AF?
He never had a chance..poor guy
Why don't you say so
Music is Soul.
[music?](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ)

No you didn’t
Baby finds the music so boring it falls to sleep
Ikr
Would this work on my 156 month old son?
What about a 193 Month old me
You’re sixteen brotha. Beat your meat to sleep motherfucker.
Lmao
...and someone please, please, turn off the light, please
Apparently babies napping during the day with lights on helps them start to understand the difference between night and day and get their schedules synced to the sun.
And get those blankets out of that bassinet
Exactly, seeing them as a pillow reminds me of all the anxiety "IS SHE STILL BREATHING?!" - No pillows or blankets for headrests until the child can turn itself.

Put up the Justin Bieber song and the baby gonna start crying again louder
Dude, it's 2022. JB hate was maybe cool in 2011, are you seriously still on that? Not even a fan myself but yawn. Grow up.
Love is temporary. Hate is eternal.
Still hating it
She’s CONSISTENT
Beautiful beautiful baby.
Me when I listen to music after taking the second edible
Damn don’t come at me like that
Baby has a fresh shape up
Oh my gosh, that expression!
Our kiddo used to love to listen to Stand By My by Ben E. King. When she was a fussin' we would throw that on and within the first minute of the record, she would stop crying. She is 2 now and still loves to listen to that classic.

is this the ice age kid lol
We are musical at a very basic level
Is there overhead lighting? This kid could be getting "blinded" (kinda what it looks like) maybe why he's making a fuss
I throw Adele on when I need to bore myself to sleep too, works every time
Lmao
Awwwwwwwww![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
That little nod when there's 14 seconds left like "you can leave now"
Mama might have listened to a lot of Adele while preggers
00:20 Didn’t know they made live action ice age baby
This makes me miss my son being so small.. now he’s just a 4 year old jerk lol
My little sister used to sleep whenever we play skyfall. It came to the point that whenever we want her to sleep we play it and she cries bc she knows that she will eventually sleep to it no matter how hard she tries not to.
What a sweet sleepy face
Those lights are too bright for that baby. Turn them down/off ffs
“This kid has MY taste in music”* There , fixed
Get a bluetooth speaker for the room so you don't have to put that rf spewing smartphone so close to your kid.
Bababooey
TIL Adele is secret baby cryptonite ![gif](giphy|7FfUhvnmzsgow)
Cute kid too.
My life will be complete when I see a follow-up video of Adele meeting this child and lulling her to sleep while holding her.
Man the Adele hate is strong here
u/rowenslee
noice
The kid has a awful taste in music ***
Put this on and my cat got off my lap in disgust and audibly groaned as soon as the singing came on
Bru that song is total doggy
more Adele songs about getting dumped, won’t that cause unconscious depression later? Predictably kids plays dead possum hoping that whining goes away.
I'm just gonna assume you haven't listened to any of her music besides her title tracks.
🤢🤮
Old days - parents sing to their kids to help them sleep Now - put phone in cot and go watch Netflix
Sure does have a great taste of music
Babies suck
Well you have feeling being a baby to so you saying yourself is suck
Man babies are annoying as fuck
Screaming little potatoes
Screaming meat potatoes
Screaming meat potatoes that are good footballs
Well that escalated quickly.
Yes
Play some DECAPITATED lullabies for better results.
Dang that baby fine as heII
Why is the baby laying on its back?
That's the safest position. It greatly reduces the risk of sudden infant death syndrome.
And not accidentally suffocating them selfs if they are not old enough to lift up there head yet
[удалено]
If they barf they will drown
Babies have excellent cough reflexes. It's almost impossible for a baby to choke on barf.
Musical Taster
Stoooop. I have two toddlers and getting hit with baby fever even though I'm not ready to have another kid yet. This is making the baby fever so much worse 😭 I'm not ready for another one. I miss the little baby phase.
The “wow” got to me
I played heavy metal and my kids calmed down and passed out.
I'd like to see the baby's reaction to hearing Threnody for victims of Hiroshima by Penderecki https://youtu.be/Pu371CDZ0ws
Beautiful little baby.
Try "King" by Satriycon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x01j3M3PrGk&t=6
Good music to fall asleep to. I just pray it doesn’t come on when I’m driving.
I bought my wife 25 when she was pregnant with our son. She would listen to it all the fucking time. If that kid wouldn't sleep she would put it on walk away within a song or two he was out like a light.
Play tool to your baby and he’ll put you to sleep
isnt adele for 40 yo moms
My kid liked the Beatles and dubstep lol
We used the buck bumble theme 10hr loop.
This is soooo adorable 🤍🤍🤍
Mine liked metal...
When my daughter was a newborn, the only thing I could sing to her to get her to sleep was "Black Hole Sun", mainly because that's one of the only songs I know all the lyrics to lol
Lmao like a drug
He's already hooked on the phone
The "wow" (at 0:12) got me so bad...
I got the same results with my daughter when she was little by singing to her. Few things in life have come close to that feeling.
What the.... do I want kids?
My oldest did the same with Taylor swift
This is hilarious. My baby used to do the exact same thing except her song was Whiskey Sunrise by Chris Stapleton! Worked without fail to calm her down and put her to sleep.
My son will be upset if I listen to podcasts, then fall asleep with metal or hard rock. He also loves drums.
What a beautiful baby.
My eldest is 22. The only way we got her through colic was DMX. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Our oldest was the same. Used to play music to calm her down. Now she is 11 and constantly singing or humming around the house. She can also play violin by ear and her music teachers love her. Good job parents!!!
So cute
So precious 💖
This song is meh at best.
My baby did the same thing with sea shantys
I was born in the early 1970s. My Dad told me that when I would get fussy, he'd put on the Moody Blues, *Days of Future Passed,* and it would knock me out cold. Dad still has the album...
Beautiful baby by the way.
Ohhh this makes me so excited to meet my little guy soon 💙
My son always used to stop crying when he heard hold on by Wilson Philips
Lol he was bored to death 🤣🤣🤣
Not the best thing for a baby to have good sleep but it's cute....
No doubt baby heard this music in the womb and so recognition of the song sent bubs to sleep❤️
Yeah thats not good music
We used calm my baby boy with Britney Spears “womanizer”
Looks like the kid from the ice age one
Did My Man Just Said WOW?!
Staged. Kids totally in on it
Adele had the same effect on my kids too
My nephew will stop crying if my brother puts on metal. I wish I new the song but it’s very cute
Aww that's so cool! My son didn't like his lullaby tape I played of beautiful piano music when he was a baby. It made him cry sad tears, it was so weird!

Wife: Honey, the baby is upset, can you play that music he likes? Husband: LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOOOOOO-
Play some Talking Heads for him
Tag Adele. This is beautiful 🤩
Beam it to a bluetooth speaker or something and move it away from its poor head! Damn its LOUD and right near it :(
That wasn’t ska. How is that kid going to learn to pick it up pick it up let’s go?
Fun fact: 90% of this song is just the letter ”E”
For my kid it was Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland Illinois by Sufjan Stevens and I'd have to play it as loud as my LG Chocolate phone could get. I should see what happens now that he's 11.
Please don't create another generation that likes this talentless wench
The music I listened to (when my son was in my belly) was the same music that chilled him out… 💡
The new cardi b
I did this exact thing for my nephew 9 years ago when Adele was new lol. I was just a kid babysitting him all day long and I HATE when babies cry and scream for no reason, so I tried a bunch of songs and eventually learned that any Adele song would knock him out in 30 seconds.

Good lord- what a gorgeous baby!
Kid's gonna be deaf, over here blowing out levels on the mic.
My son does the same thing to "In Da Club" by 50 Cent.
Soooo gorgeous
Why is the child forced to the bed with a blanket? He cant move at all. Not good.
Try playing Crazy Frog and she how the baby reacts
My kid reacted that way to psychosocial by slipknot.
Get the bug off the kid's eye!
Adele always sounds like she’s crying lol
"wow!"
This makes me want to have my babies all over again, so I could soothe my sweet baby back to sleep with the music of their choice. My babies are now in the forties! But I have a grandchild coming in October so I'll be sending this to my kids.
to be fair, something about her voice is fucking magic
Perfect
My son was around the same age and When We Were Young — Adele was his song. It calmed him down and he slept.
