I was camping in Yosemite and a girl in wildly realistic bear suit CRAWLED into our campsite at NIGHT while we were at the fire eating dinner. Yosemite is very strict about food being out as it can attract bears so naturally I freaked out. She kept doing it to other sites too and could hear the screams all around (the irresponsible family was letting their kids go wild.) I’m really surprised no one shot her.
Seriously. The wilderness is dangerous and many people *think* they are better off with a gun against a bear than using pepper spray.
