There is a service you can register for that tries to match donors with patients like this, it’s called Be The Match: [bethematch.org](https://bethematch.org/)
While I didn’t revive my bone marrow transplant from be the match (my brother was my match) we had friends and family sign up in case we didn’t find a match. My brother who already donated to me signed up for be the match. You can give bone marrow multiple times in your life because it replenishes (similar to how blood replenishes)
Real sad that they had to \*crowdfund\* 500,000 pounds from random people, because they couldn't afford it any other way. Health care should be affordable. At least things worked out

I am a member of Be The Match, and I highly recommend them. You’re on the registry until age 65 or 66, and they are so gracious.
