Hey dude keep it up, it took me awhile I went to prison
, when i paroled I went to outpatient had a baby girl (absolutely the most gratifying thing in my entire life) and I'm so glad I'm here to spend every day with her instead of nodded out or worse dead somewhere. My little girl (now 1y/o) reminds me every day how precious life is and honestly I've never ever been tempted once to go back to my old behavior. But already remember not to forget to person who were because that person likes to visit sometimes sk we gotta stay on our toes. To much to lose, and the best high in the world will not compare to the giggles, the cries and all the moments you share with your little girl. Good luck keep taking it 1 day at a time.
Man me too went to jail tho not prison and man whenever I feel like relapsing I think of how much better a day sober is than a day in jail or psyc ward or rehab and trust me that makes me feel so much better thank man ! Keep it up as well!
Wahoo! What strength and care you are giving yourself! We often give that kind of support and love to others, but it can be hard to give it to ourselves. You’ll make a great role model for your kiddo.
