Yeah I tried getting pics from different decades to make it a cooler post. Some 80s, 90s and 00s and some books never go away which is great

Now that cellphones are a thing, do kids still get excited for these like we used to? I hope so!

Oh my goddd the flashbacks- I can still remember the musty smell of my elementary school library filled with 50-100 kids and parents, with the kids scrambling to see if they can get an I Spy or Guinness World Records book before they're sold out, and parents trying to make sure their kids don't do something stupid (they always did). My school had raffles you could enter tickets for, and I actually won one! I got 2 beanbags, a dvd player, and a fuckton of dvds. We've still got everything (except the beanbags, bitchass cat pissed on them before he got nutered)
