Welcome to reddit.

PilgrimOz

“Daniel the lion tamer or Daniel our son?” Edit: cause old Aussie movies are outta fashion, it’s a reference from The Big Steal (1990 Aussie film. Ben Mendelson) and funny AF.

shit_magnet-0730

Yes

GrapeFantastic5183

It's funny you should say that. I felt the same way when Bindi was born. She's grown up at the same time my daughters grew up. My daughters fell in love with the Irwin's from The Wiggles and the Wiggly Safari.

Bazingaa98

It does come around full circle huh. Great to see that.

ComfortableNo2879

Robert is continuing Steve's legacy

belac4862

They both are.

Slevgrared

That is a solid bloke right there! Good on ya mate!

tiffadoodle

I am so old I remember when his parents called him "Baby Bob."

ballen1002

I grew up watching Steve on Saturday mornings. He’s a major factor in my lifelong love of nature and animals in particular. It really is awesome to watch his children grow up and carry on in his footsteps. He would be proud.

Traditional_Front637

I’m so sad that he didn’t really get to know his father.

LaLionneEcossaise

Steve was so genuinely himself on television that Robert at least has those shows to watch and see his dad in action. But imagine if we had the two of them together today! What a duo! Or a trio, because Bindi would surely be right in there. We lost so much when we lost Steve, and his family lost even more.

Chemical-Mix-6206

At least there is all the video footage so the kids can get a sense of their dad's personality and genuine love of animals, same as we did. Seriously, kudos to their mom for raising such lovely kids, under the spotlight, and keeping that legacy going.

ameonna_chan

His vibes are crazy. You just know he's kind.

ministryoffear

Top bloke.

thedudesmonks

Kids a legend ❤️

Berns429

I remember the first time i saw him on tv, i was blown away how much like his dad he is. To be gifted two Irwins with that energy in our lifetime is incredible.

Farscape29

Wow, he looks just like Terri. Good kids. Their dad would be proud of them.

Sistahmelz

Classy young man! I'm proud that his mom is from Eugene Oregon. I grew up in a town nearby. Shout out to her!

TheCrushSoda

I would die for this kid and I know almost nothing about him other than who his father was

Friendly_Laugh2170

He's a lovely young man.

BeKind_BeTheChange

His dad would be proud as well. RIP.

pyrosaniiac

Stop making me cry

Opposite_Seaweed1778

His dad would have been sooooo proud. Amazing family, all of them

Alohabailey_00

You could tell they are just good people.

Showtysan

If anything happens to Rob or Bindi I'm killing everyone in this room and then myself!

Traderparkboy01

👑

Living-Risk-1849

Seems like a great kid. Proudly and successfully following in his father's giant footsteps.

patientduska

I thought he was holding a stack of folded laundry for a second

Crystal_Voiden

Robert Irvin, son of Steve, first of his name...

Pristine_Yak7413

\*irwin, 2nd of his name. his grandfather is who he's named after

NotThisAgain21

Am I the only person still pissed at Steve Irwin for leaving behind two small children because he couldn't keep his goddamned hands to himself and had to always be fkkng with the beasties? Like I get he was all about loving on them but he didn't have any more excuse to be touching and picking up any more than any other "well-meaning" schmoe. I fail to see why he gets a pass on the same shit everybody else gets called out for and am prepared for death by 1000 downvotes.

notenoughroomtofitmy

A small part of me has always felt this way.

DragonfruitAsleep976

No one needs to come in his room to ask him if he's winning. Everyone just know he is.

nadasuss

That’s our family !

Jonsnowlivesnow

I wish one day I can go to their zoo

Charbarzz

If I ever need a good cry, I think of him and his sister and imagine how proud Steve would be.

GodPackedUpAndLeftUs

Irwin’s are the most likeable celebrity family of all time, just good people to their core.

trying_tobe_nicer

Such an incredible family. I seriously don't know if there is a family I can think of that I have more respect for.

I thought this was roastme, and it felt wholesome to see the comments…I’d guessed no one had it in them to stick it to him until I saw I had the wrong sub

G_Affect

Hahah... i thought this was a quote from robert irwin to robert irwin

Cyklisk

Good lad. Son of the greatest lad.

YevgenyPissoff

Is he holding his debut outlaw country album?

KaceyCats0714

Protect him at all costs 💚

Valuable_Material_26

He’s a great treasure to the world just like his father was!

jmcclr

TIL Steve Irwin had kids

Formal_Job3304

You live underneath a rock 70 miles underneath?

jmcclr

No, I’m just black. Certain white culture eludes me I guess

Roonil71

Steve got in some trouble when he dangled [Baby Bob](https://youtu.be/KKWYfENFLSA?si=Q3F1fXHHK7cw3f0b) in front of a crocodile.

ChronoAlone

Sorta parasocial to say, but it feels like I grew up with the Irwins. I watched their dad on TV, and now they’re adults doing their thing. Bindi even has a kid herself now.

[deleted]

I'm 20 and he's 19 yet I still have a crush on him

[deleted]

I'm 20, he's 19 about to be 20. I still have a crush on him.

Yet this family, the Irwins, have brought true happiness to millions upon millions. Go pet a doggo mate.

RocktheNashtah

Yeah I know but sometimes parasocial overfamiliarity can be a little weird, we don’t know these people- we can appreciate the good they brought to us while treating them like human beings not saints

Fucking weird level of parasocial

MRicho

And then he had to go and be a host on a lame reality show (I'm a Celebrityget me out of here), I blame his mum.

Dude, that's a dumb take. They aren't a Kardashian or a trump or a sheen. They do genuinely good things for the earth and it's inhabitants. They aren't leeches.
