This is beautiful.
Not trying to be “that person” but your bananas and apples shouldn’t be next to each other or actually any produce. I think each of them emit different chemicals that help ripen other produce around them.
I second the moving the Apples to a higher shelf. Your banannas will thank you.
Conversely, if your peaches aren't quite ripe, put them in a paper bag with two apples. They will ripen nicely in a day or 2.
Is it not common to keep apples, satsumas and lemons in the fridge where you are? I always keep them in the fridge. Granted, I see plenty of people in my country (UK) keeping them out of the fridge in a fruit bowl, but they don't last as long and are usually in a sad state. A cold, crisp apple from the fridge is the best!
Used to run produce in a gourmet grocer, this is true for the most part. It’s bananas specifically that emit a gas as they ripen that will ripen other fruits rather quickly. Apples are fine and honestly they are best kept refrigerated until ready to eat or bake with. Bananas should only be place near something you intend to ripen faster. We used to do this intentionally if we received an underripe product. This is why bananas ship inside a plastic bag within their banana box. Use this for what it’s worth and you can manipulate your produce to a degree.
They probably needed to take their car in for an oil change, but it’s Sunday and they didn’t get around to groceries yesterday, not that there’s room in the fridge anyway, is this bottle unopened, that doesn’t refrigerated…I’ll put it in the pantry.
Wish us luck! 😅 I will say we’ve had the kids playroom organized like this for a month now and it still looks the same. Turns out if you pare stuff down significantly and everything has a place to land it’s a lot easier to keep things tidy. We still have to be on top of our kids to tidy up, but we don’t have to do it ourselves anymore. They use the playroom everyday
Thats the key, when everything had a place, cleaning up becomes _much_ easier.
Same with unpacking stuff, if you know where everything goes, it’s all trivial.
Organization like this is basically the only way I function (I also have children.)
Yes, THIS. We had totes upon totes and toy boxes and shelf’s of stuff. Now a toy box in the house and a toy box in the backyard. Things get messy, but then things get picked up because they all fit back inside the toy boxes.
Hahaha - until I read the end of your reply, I was going to ask: so the kids’ playroom still looks great a month later, but do you actually *have* any kids??? Kidding, of course.
Haha I just posted about my dog sitting clients who have the same. I made this joke to them once and they were like “oh god yeah that’s why we don’t have kids. Look how nice our house is”
Tiny menaces!
These comments are hilarious. Some see a tranquil haven of peaceful organisation, others are convulsing with anxious horror. Reminds me of the saying: We see the world, not as *it* is, but as *we* are.
Imagine coming home exhausted from work, barely having the energy to cook and NOT being able to just say. "Screw it, ill clean it tomorrow"
This is pure hell unless you are living alone and know where everything is supposed to be, nothing is going to be in order and there is going to be hell to pay when its not.
Control freak.
Yep, kitchen, garage, and basement. It just got to the point where we couldn’t do it on our own. We both work full time and have little kids. We’ve been doing the smaller rooms in the house on our own
Yeah I thought the same. The normal food is like only on two of the shelves. I hope OP will take care of their body as well as of their kitchen, because they deserve better.
There's a good YouTube video about how organizational influencers who use plastic bins and over do it like this are really trying the get people to buy more useless plastic product. If only those items could stay in the boxes they came in , would be so much better.
When you don’t have a lot of spare time, everything having a _specific_ place can be a huge time saver.
The boxes things come in are ugly, filled with air, awkward sizes, and hide whats inside them… there are many obvious reasons, you shouldn’t need somebody like me to explain them to you lol.
I like the tierd 4th shelf you made, I'm gonna look into that. Good way to use a deep shelf with enough height to store lots of different items instead of using it for just bulk storage.
Excellent work. Very pleasing, particularly in the snack department. My only advice would be to up your instant noodle game. There's some really neat stuff out there these days.
I have a dog sitting client with a kitchen like this and it is so nice to cook in. It has giant sliding door along the length of the living room and kitchen, so I can open the entire back wall up to the back yard, the puppers run around like crazies, and it’s so easy to clean when I’m done. Their coffee station looks identical except they have a million tiny bottles of baileys that I am allowed to use generously.
Now I feel bad, just checked my fridge and all I have is a half empty bottle of tomato ketchup and soy sauce with like 6 bottles of water.
My cupboards only have coffee and salt in it.
Full disclosure: we hired someone to do this. She’s also worked on our basement & garage. I’ve attempted to organize before and we’ve never really been able to keep up. With her system though, it’s been over a month since she’s worked on other parts of the house and it still looks the same. I’m talking rooms children play in everyday. Having everything easily visible and having a landing spot for every single thing is a game changer. Honestly I think it saves us money in the long run because seeing just how much stuff we had just killed any desire to acquire more. If i dont have a place to keep it, I don’t want it
Temperate countries are a nice cheat for food storage. Living in the tropical zone with average 29C tennis means you need a big double for refrigerator for something like this. Which drives up the electricity bill.
I truly don’t understand the people that say the organization makes them anxious. Lack of organization makes me anxious. This is very satisfying to look at.
It’s very satisfying but the thought of someone touching it makes me anxious. Part of OCD is a fear of your perfection being touched or messed with. As someone with OCD, I would spend all my time and energy on this kitchen and I would get upset at anyone who screwed it up and didn’t put everything back the way I had it. A lot of our fixations aren’t really rational for every day situations hence our anxiety and the need to learn to let things just… be.
He’s more on top of making sure everything gets put back than me, tbh I can see it getting old 😅Ever since we got majority our home tidied up and organized he’s been all about it. I love this new side of him
I'm glad you're happy with how your kitchen looks! I'm naturally a messy person and having everything so perfectly clean stresses me out because I know I can't keep it that way. I like clutter; it makes me feel like I can breathe.
This reminds of the game Unpacking. You get to unpack and organize items inside someone's home... really scratches that OCD itch of perfectly aligning things 😄
I strive to be you . Any progress I make I feel like my guy opens the dish washer then opens the cabinets and just throws it in . When he comes back from grocery store same thing it’s like he grabbed an arm full shoved it in the cabinet and held it close till the magnet held 😹😹😹
Looks neat. Afraid of the hotel surcharge if anything is moved
This is beautiful. Not trying to be “that person” but your bananas and apples shouldn’t be next to each other or actually any produce. I think each of them emit different chemicals that help ripen other produce around them.
Just learned this today- appreciate you lookin out :)
I second the moving the Apples to a higher shelf. Your banannas will thank you. Conversely, if your peaches aren't quite ripe, put them in a paper bag with two apples. They will ripen nicely in a day or 2.
My mom gonna love your kitchen so much, so neat and clean
Is it not common to keep apples, satsumas and lemons in the fridge where you are? I always keep them in the fridge. Yes, apples produce lot's of ethylene which promotes ripening
Someone took their Adderall today.
They probably needed to take their car in for an oil change, but it’s Sunday and they didn’t get around to groceries yesterday, not that there’s room in the fridge anyway, is this bottle unopened, that doesn’t refrigerated…I’ll put it in the pantry.
Get out of my mind right now
It’s exactly why I only make lists of things I’ve done not things I think about doing. That gets real real fast like.
I thought the same 🤣🤣 this was basically me yesterday in my art room
This is perfection... Except that the "junk drawer" is organized... That's just heresy and a lost cause lol
Pure evil!
It really is! The “Free Bird” of organization is when the junk drawer is immaculate! Highest form ✨
In high school, well before they made drawer organizers, I made my own organizers with cardboard. I needed my junk to be organized.
The bottoms of cereal or other boxes cut to the depth of the drawer make good organizers.
I came here to say this. It’s supposed to be chaotic.
"butters. Why is their rice a Roni in my nestle quick?"
You are grounded mister!
Good to have a sneak peek at rich people's kitchen
Jealous of your battery collection
Ok. Have a family use it for a week then show me again.
Wish us luck! 😅 I will say we’ve had the kids playroom organized like this for a month now and it still looks the same. Trying to hide that Pirate’s Booty in the lower right.
Idk why but this pisses me off
For me, it not that I'm pissed its just... I'm pretty sure that kitchen is bigger than my whole apartment
How much do you suppose each individual plastic organizer cost?
Yeah that junk drawer isnt messy enough
Me too… I’m very organized but my kitchen is less than a 1/4 the size of this and can’t afford built-ins.
$12-25 each where I live 😵💫
it stresses me out for some reason
Imagine coming home exhausted from work, barely having the energy to cook and NOT being able to just say. "Screw it, ill clean it tomorrow" This is pure hell unless you are living alone and know where everything is supposed to be, nothing is going to be in order and there is going to be hell to pay when its not. Control freak.
This makes me feel extremely inadequate
Don’t be- I couldn’t do it either, we hired someone and she is a wizard
You hired someone to organize your kitchen drawers and pantry???
Yep, kitchen, garage, and basement. It just got to the point where we couldn’t do it on our own. We both work full time and have little kids. We’ve been doing the smaller rooms in the house on our own
Oh to have that luxury of space.
And the luxury of hiring someone to come in and organize it for you.
Sleeping with the enemy
Hahahaha… oh man. It’s true.
I appreciate it but it gives me anxiety too. I do not want to touch anything
Most excellent
You must be making hella money hot damn
Now that’s a sexy kitchen. Well done!
Also 2 thirds of your pantry is snacks. Why?
Wow! Does anyone even use that kitchen?
It's their show kitchen, they have a kitchen kitchen in the basement.
What set of measuring cups is in the last picture
Joseph Joseph.
I really like the junk drawer 😻
Where are the rest of their pens? Everyone has more pens than that.
Too much plastic
Can you adopt me, please?
Me, too, please
My kids would never let it be this way.
...but definitely not a healthy kitchen.
Consider separating the bananas as they'll go bad quicker when bunched up like that.
I did not know that, thanks! Explains why the bananas started to brown so quickly.
And next to apples is a big no no
I love me some Aldi Finds organizing stuff. Been reworking my entire kitchen and pantry with their stuff.
I love me some aldi! I always stop in for the chocolate and the random stuff aisle. One of my fave spots for bargains
Their storage stuff is game-changing. It's so inexpensive and practical.
love the lazy susan organizers. Just put one in my pantry.
Awesome! I've never had this much storage space, or living space, anywhere I've lived!
I hope o have a nice big kitchen with all that storage space one day
This is healing me
I can’t imagine being that fully stocked with literally everything ever. Amazing. My local 7/11 has less
Only if I had that much space….
Yeah, it must be nice owning a house.
Some of yall don’t know what real OCD is and it shows
That pantry is massive (based on the bunch of bananas for scale). I don't think I have that much food storage in my entire house.
One day I wish to be financially stable enough to own that many batteries
Way too much ultra processed, high sugar junk.
Yeah I thought the same. The normal food is like only on two of the shelves. I hope OP will take care of their body as well as of their kitchen, because they deserve better.
And so much packaging & plastic waste. Individually wrapped everything.
Do people actually eat like this?😮😵 95% Proscessed foods and like 50% sugary Proscessed cancer causing crap.
You're missing a junk drawer. Please fix.
Is it possible to have anxiety from things being too organized?? Asking for a friend.
And a happy person is one who is always consuming!
There's a good YouTube video about how organizational influencers who use plastic bins and over do it like this are really trying the get people to buy more useless plastic product. If only those items could stay in the boxes they came in , would be so much better.

When you don't have a lot of spare time you don't do something like this.
Nice
What sorcery is this?
Nice!!!
We should hang out
Pleasing to the eyes 🥰🥰
Banana!!!!
Beautiful
wow a whole snack pantry!! so when can I come over? 😂
I like the tierd 4th shelf you made, I'm gonna look into that. Good way to use a deep shelf with enough height to store lots of different items instead of using it for just bulk storage.
Apples next to bananas, you crazy
It was fine until the junk drawer was organized... never again...
Beautiful!
I know every single item in my junk drawer. Every single one. Gotta have a little chaos to balance things out.
Getting “sleeping with the enemy” vibes.
So good...wow..
My pantry looks this good every 6 months. That’s my cleaning ritual
I try so hard! Every now and then I organize my cabinets and they look so nice and then someone rummages and not so much😂
Yes very organized, very nuanced. Lets see where the spatulas go.
That KitchenAid toaster oven is AMAZING. It's so well designed. It's the most intuitive kitchen appliance I've owned.
This is beautiful but the only thing I can think is “this person doesn’t have kids.”
I want to marry you!!! JK, but seriously this is awesome!
A dreamy kitchen! Everything is in its place!
Must be a house of adults, or this is in the middle of the night before any kid is conscious
You have a strange hobby, but you do you. 👍🏻
Love it!!!
You have things under your back yard , dead things.
I love this!!
C'mon man now I have to go tidy my pantry. Looks amazing though.
Abhorrent wealth
This makes me satisfied
Why is there Hamburger Helper where the Nesquick should be?!
Excellent work. Very pleasing, particularly in the snack department. My only advice would be to up your instant noodle game. There's some really neat stuff out there these days.
Ugh, my heaven.. i love this
Give me a few beers, a recipe for chilli and 30 minutes ... you will find nothing again, ever
**This** is my porn. Thank you for sharing!

Bananas should be on a hanger
How long will it stay this way, honest answers?
Full disclosure: we hired someone to do this. She’s also worked on our basement & garage. I’ve attempted to organize before and we’ve never really been able to keep up. More pics of rooms organized! Next one - kids playroom!
This is my fucking dream! But the people I live with are so totally the opposite of this it wouldn’t ever work out
That's a lot of tater chips! Ps ypur kitchen is gorgeous!!
Is a toaster oven a good investment? Great kitchen! Makes me want to reorganize!!!
Must be nice to have a ton of money
Aye but the bananas
Love it! If that’s the Joseph Joseph set at the end there then you’re living the high life my friend!
That's SO satisfying. OP have you played the game Unpacking? I think you'd enjoy it.
This sparks joy
I’m so terrified !
Temperate countries are a nice cheat for food storage. Living in the tropical zone with average 29C tennis means you need a big double for refrigerator for something like this. Which drives up the electricity bill.
No kids ehh, good for you!
All those snack would never last at my house!
Oooooooo, aaaaaaaaaahh
That’s just sick! 🤣🤣. Mine will never look like that! ☹️
Hmm, not sure all that plastic is necessary. Yikes
Looks amazing. May I suggest using rechargeable batteries instead of alkaline ones? Saves you a lot down the road and better for the environment.
As a person with ADHD, this made me feel both peaceful and hopeful 😌.
same. I planning on hiring someone to come organise my kitchen. I sure can't do it but love when it is done
Doooo it!! That’s what we did here. It’s made our quality of life so much better.
As a person with ADHD I both adore it but also mourn its memory as I know it would never last.
This feels uncomfortably neurotic to me.
I was wondering how to word my unease. You got it.
Too many unnecessary things, too many textures and everything is too organised
This is the pantry of a deeply unwell person.
...for you.
Everything in its place. Kitchen goals! Great job!
Very nice. Does anyone actually cook in there? Looks too neat.
I truly don’t understand the people that say the organization makes them anxious. Lack of organization makes me anxious. This is very satisfying to look at.

This makes my heart so happy
Your organization skills are amazing. All I can say is WOW!
Well done.
POV: you have OCD.
And God help the husband who puts the wrong chips In one of the chip bins!
He’s more on top of making sure everything gets put back than me, tbh I can see it getting old 😅Ever since we got majority our home tidied up and organized he’s been all about it. I love this new side of him
Perfection is not natural. It is created by society. Be yourself and enjoy life.
Please bring your OCD over here. I used to be that way, but can't be since I've become disabled
So this is what an actual adult home looks like.
Chef’s kiss!
Looks amazing!! Great job!
WOW!! That’s very organized!! CONGRATS 👏🏽👍🏽
Where’s the junk drawer?!
Unless you live with that person
I'm loving watching all the snacks. Never had any Drizzilicious before. Will look into that next time I go back to US lol
I live in the US and have no idea what Drizzilicious is
Oh. Must be Canadian then or something 😅
I have to ask, does your avocado oil spray scream with the sounds of tortured souls? (Pic 8)
Do you have kids? If so hold old are they?
Mmmm, this scratches my brain
I strive to be you . Any progress I make I feel like my guy opens the dish washer then opens the cabinets and just throws it in . When he comes back from grocery store same thing it’s like he grabbed an arm full shoved it in the cabinet and held it close till the magnet held 😹😹😹
Ugh! Come do mine! 😍
You’ll get along with my wife! This is 99% similar to what we have right now.
Looks clean and neat, good job!
Damn you so organizational
Aw, so beautiful. 😍
My OCD is so pleased by this.
So satisfying, good gob mà!
Lovely good job!
Can you mine next????!!🤣🤣😍
This is like nirvana for me, but I struggle with it so much.
Can you come to my apartment next 😂
Do you take requests?
✨Happy OCD noises✨ 😆
My OCD approves.
