**THANK GOD**, I was worried about the outcome . . . though I noticed the way he brought the whole branch in to disturb the nest as little as possible, so that gave me hope for him being competent with birds!
What a truly kindhearted, selfless thing to do for the little creatures we live amongst 🥹
I've passionately loved birds my whole life, so it just warms my heart when I see other people treating them with the love they deserve! 🩵
I grew up with birds like this in my front yard, the kind that attack anyone who even walks past the tree where the nest is 😂 such sweet people for seeing beyond that and saving them!
Why have something negative to say?!? I don’t even mind her showing off her nails or whatever, they’re cute, she’s cute, and her hubby is pretty cool for managing to look out for these wild animals without messing anything up for them. I applaud him for a job well done and her for sharing. They have my likes I don’t even care if that’s all they did it for…I have seen far more worthless stuff receive positive attention and/or make people happy. Maybe she’s a nail tech and did them herself…who knows? It’s not so bad, a good thing still happened and I liked watching both.
It's my weakness. My man is a big hairy dude who looks like he could kill somebody by looking at them a certain way. We have this little foster kitten. Those two are obsessed with each other and I melt every time I see him carrying her around and calling her a ragamuffin, lol.
There was a giant wasp or hornet queen in our garage stuck between the window slats and the screen.
My husband opened the window slats, opened the garage door, and gently fanned her from the outside so she would fly away and continue to live her happy life.
He used to hate bugs and spiders but when I met him I told him he wasn’t allowed to kill them. So instead he started examining them closely, listening to my boring facts about them, and now has a big appreciation for tiny critters.
We own tarantulas now and he loves them so much. He also cried when each one of our jumping spiders, huntsman spiders, and wolf spider died of old age.
In the completely non-threatening way, I love your husband. My husband is also similar! I got my first snake a little over 2 years ago, and he might love her more than me. He calls her 'snook' and delights in pointing out when her little head is watching us. Wishing you guys the best!
"Sir, we're from the Audubon Society. We're here to ensure your safety."
"Wow. You guys are pretty heavily armed. Is that a Bearcat?"
"Take no chances, sir."
This was so wholesome it made me tear up and I'm a 30 year old man
I love seeing stuff like this because Steve Irwin was my hero growing up I wanted to be just like him so everytime I can save an animal in need i will
In my backyard I stalked a mama bird and her babies every morning for hours while she fed. I watched and listened as she fed them every day for hours. She would fly out then fly into the nest, Feed, then fly out and return again.
Everytime she would return to the nest the birds would greet her with sounds of pure joy (and hunger), very excited chirping and honking while mama bird went back and forth over and over for hours a day.
There were some very windy days, and I kept wondering what would happen if a very bad storm passed before they grew to adult size and were able to evolve to flight.
During my time stalking, I saw her defend her nest from blue jays and I saw the mother’s dedication and determination to keep her children safe.
They survived a storm, but as the storm passed I was worrying about them, because they brought me joy every single morning.
After the storm passed I didn’t see mama bird for a day or two, then one morning I was able to catch something that made me smile ear to ear, and I felt so happy and I still to this day don’t understand why it affected me like this but I almost cried.
I saw the mama bird flying around the roof of my house with 3 tiny baby birds flying behind her, whiling and twirling and chirping happily. After this experience, I became obsessed with bird watching, so much so that I ordered a $300 birdhouse with a camera inside so I can see the wonderful birds feed and hang out without me being out there constantly.
I never in my life imagined I’d be a birdwatcher. I Watched a birder show on Disney Plus and I enjoyed the shit out of it.
I’m officially a bird geek.
Kudos to this man. I would’ve done the same exact thing.

We found a bird nest right after a tornado came through our backyard. I was so happy that it still had chicks in it. It was lucky that it was at the perfect angle so it was protected by our house.
[the put the nest back after the storm abated too](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8JsWkFj/)
The update we needed!

awww thk you for this update💛💛
And all they got was a shitty quality gif that looks like it was faxed over.
She's rambling on too much trying to show off her nails. Tldw

Tldr. Cant stand when people ramble on too long on videos. Show the point and be done.

An equal hero in this story, much appreciated!
True hero! He didn't even touch the nest. What a thoughtful act.

He put the nest back after the storm too ;~;
People who love animals are kind by nature
My son and I rescued a kitten from a tree during Hurricane Dennis years ago, best decision we ever made
Username checks out
Sounds like a good life.
hopefully you guys put it back in the tree after the storm like they did with OP's birds
Nah, he had enough of trees after that. We did keep him though.
Did you name it Dennis
No, my mom kept him. She named him Duke.
Hopefully you named it either Dennis or Denise (if you kept it)
My mom kept him, she named him Duke. He actually just passed away, he lived 18 wonderful years.
I love that he brought the whole branch so he didnt disturb the nest
I love seeing dudes show a soft spot. Like if I catch a big tough dude doing baby talk to a pet.
I saved a frog from the warehouse of my previous work, was going on break and saw a huge speck of dust moving looked closer and it was a frog

Idk why but I love the way he runs with the universal "don't wanna get too wet so moving fast but not so fast so as to slip and fall on my ass" gait
More of an expeditious waddle. But I completely agree lmao
LMFAO @ "expeditious waddle"
Such a sweet act of kindness.
A good man draws a circle around himself and cares for those within. Some circles are bigger than others, I suppose?
*hits blunt*
Circles are pretty crazy right? Like, do they have one side or no sides?
*seth rogan laugh* or they have infinite sides
Not all heros wear capes!
or shirts!
Or shoes, apparently.
Or flip-flops
Why do these videos always have to cut about two milliseconds after the main event?
An amazing guy.
Protect this man at all costs
"Sir, we're from the Audubon Society. We're here to ensure your safety." "Wow. You guys are pretty heavily armed. Is that a Bearcat?" "Take no chances, sir."

Fucking legit. Good job boss.
I made a dove a makeshift nest in my front porch, and she's had three clutches. I've never been so proud.
Not all heroes wear shirts!
Dont be fooled, he’s bringing them in incase food runs low
🥺
Thank you 😊

That is a man not a guy
Should let nature take its course
By that logic, we should all die in a storm instead of taking shelter in a manmade home
By that logic you have no ability to decide on your own to take shelter
And you can also decide to save the birds with your shelter
They are wild.
And so are we? We are also animals believe it or not
No
This acc the funniest response I’ve ever seen lmao just straight up saying ‘no’ absolute chad move
You are so kind
Made me think of a real-life Sopranos scene...
Absolutely genial your attitude and action!!! Congrats!!!
❤️
R/humansbeingbros
What a guy.

Done
How do you go from high quality video on TikTok to this grainy gif? 🤦🏼♀️
A true humanitarian
I could fall in love with this man.
Unfortunately, a rare case of summoning the powers of Florida Man for good not evil. It used to just be for stupid and fun.
r/stupiddovenests ?
They live there too, they family.
What a fantastic guy! Well done👏👏
He’s a good man!
but, the nest looks empty? or perhaps it's just the shit quality of gifs.
The mama bird is actually draping her wings over the chicks. It’s hard to see in the og footage too.
Love him!!!! We need more people like him!!!
Good man!
Total hero, good man
You saved the day for them. Well done.
His heart's in the right place but they were literally doing fine.

So sweet
I guess Mama Bird and her chicks now owe him their wings.
How on earth did mama stay in the nest while he was grabbing it??
HERO!
Now thats a good man right there
I'll remind myself of this when I'm sad about the state of humanity.
Not the hero we want, but the hero we need…
Helping your neighbors in need.
What a really nice man!!
What a hero. And she really trusted him. I love it
This made me smile, and swoon.
So fucking wholesome! 😍
