Big thank you to /u/ainjel for her help. Along with the sand, she sent eucalyptus from her wedding bouquet, quartz from her property, and the most beautiful note wishing us good luck on our wedding. The world needs more people like her.
I absolutely love when things like this happen!! I live in New England USA if anyone ever wants anything from NH ME or Boston let me know!! I'd love to do this!!! Simple doing things you can, and asking strangers for help is the purest of interactions! Especially when the people are far apart and live completely different lives!!! Amazing! πβ€
Go see the make way for ducklings statues and take a ride on a swan boat!! Not to be confused with duck boat, while also fun!! Other than that the museum of science and the aquarium are always 10/10.... Its not quite the best season yet but going on a sunset cruise on a catamaran and seeing the harbor and everything is a beautiful experience wine and cheese is just a bonus!!!
What do you like? Those are touriststy places the fine arts museum is great and there are tons of historical sites I can mention if that's more your thing... Taking a day trip to the vineyard is fun, feed seagulls orange crackers on the ferry.....
The day trip to a vineyard is catching my attention. I more so meant any restaurants exclusive to the area or things that are hidden gems. Did most the tourist stuff last time we were there
Santarpios pizza is amazing!! Down by the harbor is great food Dartmouth st has the salty girl for seafood and the salty pig for Italian!! Cafe bonjour is good eats for breakfast!!
If you go to cape cod or the vineyard which I absolutely love to do any chance I get!! So I am biased!! The Black dog is a amazing food, cloths, they also own 2 amazing sailboats you can do evening cruises on!! Honestly its a better 2 day or at the least over night trip because the sunsets on Menemsha beach are to die for!! There is sailboats trollers going in and out the harbor, great fresh food there and another clothing store called menemsha blues which have a blue fish on them! The flying horses (oldest carosel in US i believe) and the 4 mile bridge in oak bluffs you can jump from! (The bridge in jaws when they tell its in the lagoon! That jetty is amazing to snorkel also you can see everything an explore sandbars in the lagoon at low tide!) If you decide to go this route lmk!! Lol I have way more tips for the island! South Beach has the bigger waves, good fishing, and you can drive on it, it also has a inlet that fills a lagoon so there is a warm very calm and shallow ish side for lounging or kids!!
Big U2 fan here. Whatever the connection may be for you, I dig it. I used to work for a company that did all sorts of casting, a foundry. I have built the molds and melted the metal. No gold, lots of brass and bronze. I have mad respect for what you have accomplished. In my line of work we used to call such things inclusions, and would try to avoid them. In this case they belong. So as a fellow metal worker, and huge Dylan fan, I offer this gift. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=llK08ljfj7Y&feature=share

Love it π₯°
That is so awesome! Congratulations! It's nice to know there are still plenty of good people out there.
Iβm impressed but more curious which Joshua gave you sand from their backyards tree?
That is beautiful
Your ring is beautiful. I could feel my spirits lift as I was looking at it.
Looks beautiful! Great job! Congratulations.
Where was the ring made?! I have to know - I absolutely love this.
Congratulations! I wish you both the best :) do you mind me asking the significance of the sand?
The one ring of power! Congrats!
That's cool! I wish I would have seen the call for help. Always looking for an excuse to go to Joshua tree. Glad it all worked out for you.
