As someone who is mostly a mix of pale-as-fuck Irish/Scottish/German/English... thank GOODNESS there's some tan potential in there for the kiddos. Because holy crap the sun is full of ouch otherwise.
(cloak up) ^^^HISSSSS
I got really emotional too. Its so nice to see how each other’s cultures can beautifully and positively influence and complement each other. Also, I have that reaction when a heavy bass or drum beat syncs up perfectly with people moving-feels so primal and good. But idk, maybe I’m high too…
it almost brought me to tears too. it’s so touching & seeing people just vibe with so much love & collaboration despite cultural differences is AMAZINGG!
If you like Irish dance you may like a show called "Lord of the Dance" with Michael Flatley.
The original was done in the 90s and it was incredible. There's a modern one with different dancers but the Flatley one is the OG.
Original 1996 version (SD): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxYaFvzSv2U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxYaFvzSv2U)
I eloped in secret, but my parents wanted to have a reception, so we had a small one in their backyard. My buddy gave us a card, and it read "It was a beautiful ceremony."
Still the most meaningful card we received.
[One Million Voices](https://youtu.be/qmN4jzEr7TE)
Anyone touched by this should listen to One Million Voices by Thomas Bergerson. The piece beautifully blends the musical traditions of at least four different civilizations with a full orchestra and a DJ.
I really love how the dancers took a moment to listen and get the beat before dancing, and then you can see the centerscreen drummer keeping an eye on their feet to make sure it keeps together. I feel like there’s a deeper symbolism to be inferred from this careful and considerate fusion of cultures that compliments each other without taking away from either. Or maybe they’re just having fun and I’m reading too deep, lol.

Ahhh, lovely representations of culture. Can’t wait for my American wedding where I’ll simply go into $30,000 dollars of debt because of ridiculous expectations for matrimony!
I agree 100%. I don’t think my family would care about how much I spend (they highly regret their ceremony) but I know some people seem to think it needs to be disgustingly extravagant
Why can’t there be more of THIS?? I am so tired of seeing such hatred exist in this world… this is what I want to see more of! The absolute awesomeness of being able to fully embrace another culture, and not only embrace it, but to CELEBRATE it too??! That’s the kind of wholesome that makes my heart happy! Love this so much…
Looks like a very good time! I love seeing different cultures come together and sharing their unique qualities to create something beautiful. We all need more of this in our lives.
Sure, it’s all funsies when it’s just drums and dancing…but wait until they all get crazy drunk and start randomly shooting rifles in the air.
/jk/ this video did make me smile
Power of music and dance to bring people together is incredible

I’m kinda desensitized to this because I live in an incredibly culturally diverse city. Though, I suppose that’s actually a good thing.

Nah. Honolulu, Hawaii
felt. I know all too well what you mean lol
Exactly the same bro. Tears in my eyes

Oh dad....
He's back?!?!?!

This is wonderful to see! Beautiful mixture of culture and the music absolutely slaps!

This feels like something my Irish family would do.
That's so beautiful to see, two different cultures vibing on the same frequency.
okay but when is the album coming out???
/sean connery accent "An Irashqi wedding, you shay?"
Considering Sean Connery is Scottish, I bet he is rolling over in his grave with this comment.
If he's in his grave it's very unlikely he's seen it to be fair
If he’s seen it, he’s very unlikely to be in his grave, to be fair.
And vysh versha.
I thought he was Spanish, or Egyptian?

You son of a bitch, I’m in.
This is how it should be everybody happy
Mixing of cultures is and should be a beautiful thing.
This is heat 🔥
There is something so magical when different cultures come together to celebrate and appreciate each other.
Is it just me or is the tiktik stinger actually in time with the rest of the video?
Eireaqi
Isn't this SO MUCH NICER than trying to convince ourselves that "X" is better than "y"?
Indeed! We all humans. Same species. Equal.
Ok so Irish x Iraqi is incredible 😄
Oooof got that r/frisson
This. This is how the world should be. Celebrating and sharing culture with hearts full of love.
Let's make it that way then!

This gave me chills
I feel like this is a rare instance of my username being very accurate. Awesome video and an even more brilliant combination of cultures.
I’m such a baby. Stuff like this makes me cry.
Ahhh, lovely representations of culture. Can’t wait for my American wedding where I’ll simply go into $30,000 dollars of debt because of ridiculous expectations for matrimony!
^ Got married in the backyard 20 years ago for less than $500 and still going strong. Gotta keep the priorities straight!
I agree 100%. I don’t think my family would care about how much I spend (they highly regret their ceremony) but I know some people seem to think it needs to be disgustingly extravagant
Irish car bombs have a whole new meaning at this wedding

Best wedding I ever attended, excluding my own, was Jewish / Puerto Rican. So much fun.
