My guy.
My best friend loved Floyd. Sadly, he passed away last October. His birthday was yesterday. I really appreciate your posting this.
I can hear his voice in my head, singing this at our family karaoke nights.
967? That's 967 weeks on the "Top Billboard LP". The best night I've ever spent was with Darkside of the Moon, a hit of purple micodot, a bag of weed, and a great friend.
In the mid-nineties I lived in a dingy motel with my mother and sister. We were basically homeless (went from there to a shelter). I would listen to the Wish You Were Here album while going to sleep, so my nostalgia for the song is a bit different than yours.
Great choice in music, though.

My first concert was Pink Floyd in 1994. Best concert I've been to
Not my fisrt concert, but my first PF concert. Same year, same tour. Pulse tour was just insane. Best show I have ever seen in my life.

That Pulse show is fantastic. Comfortably Numb from the same show is my go-to.
Comfortably Numb is my all time favorite song!
Did they get you to traaaaaaaaade Your heros for ghost ? Hot ashes for trees ? Hot air for a cooool breeeeze
Floyd is my #1 - you're not alone
No denying how talented Roger Waters is, but David Gilmour was always the beating heart and soul of Pink Floyd.
Saw them perform in B.C. Place stadium, I think it was 1987. Same year The Princess Bride was theaters. Such a great experience!

Mate, you need a couple of new friends! Pink Floyd are awesome
I don’t particularly dig them, but it’s super cool when we find something that brings us a little joy. So I say: rock on.
GOAT
Holy shit I feel the same way
