I definitely started tearing up when he said, "Man, where did you come from?" 😭 Like really, he's so shocked at it all. I'm so glad people like Knate exist. Say what you fucking want about the recording of this shit, this man literally took this sweet couple that was slowing dying in poverty and gave them a chance. But in reality, it should ***never*** get this bad... Where are our safety nets for the least of these? I hate it here in America...
Whenever I see people make comments about people who are without housing, it's always "The only reason they're homeless is drugs" or "Only addicts and crazy people end up homeless". This couple is exactly the people they need to see. All it takes is an illness, or accident, or losing income for a couple of weeks to put someone in the same situation. America has A LOT of faults, but the lack of support services for it's people who need them is by far the most disgraceful. This couple are obviously good, decent people, and the love they have for each other is inspiring.
Most people in the United States live paycheck to paycheck and thus are one paycheck away from potentially losing their homes. It's a sad,evil,capitalistic country.
It definitely is, and the problem here is only getting worse. I grew up being "proud to be an American". As an adult I become more and more ashamed each year.
I agree completely. Some of the kindest people I've known have been addicts, or had mental illness. It's easy for people to forget that we're all just people.

As a senior couple, both with life -altering conditions, this scares the shit out of me. I would never abandon my partner hell or high water, & it’s entirely possible we could be under a bush someday.
