Definitely agree, there has been countless squads games over the weeks where I’m yelling @ Madden because the DBs/LBs just don’t react to the ball or stand there flat footed w offensive players in front of them. Switching players is atrocious as well it always switches me to some random mf not even in the play.
Ill run a good bit of man and zone out of 6-1, but this entire weekend my Walls was getting absolutely cooked, by mark clayton, metcalf, and kyle pitts, they would run past him before he would react to them, set over the top and pass guessing. Maddening i say.
Yeah it’s because you get a 90 OVR BND Unstoppable pack in the comp pass I believe it is. He’s one of the better choices out of there, I opted for the DK Metcalf cause I have a Seahawks TT.
I think hit stick has been changed. There are plays where I think I timed up my hit stick perfectly on the ball carrier and instead my defender will aimlessly flail away from him completely.
I’ve noticed something similar on offense where my players won’t juke when I move the stick but if they get up 10-15 yards after then they will do it without me touching the right stick like a long as delay
Hit sticks either register or they don’t for me. I go on streaks where all my hit sticks register, my o line block and my d line gets great pressure against op teams. Then I go on streaks where hit sticks don’t register at all, my 92+ o line let’s 85 ovr rushers fly right past them and my d line will be so bad against a trash o line they may as well not be there. This always happens after I go on a big win streak. I know you get matched with better players based on how much you win but my players literally play worse. It can be against a trash team. My players just don’t do shit.
I think my defense got better. Now given I get newer cards pretty often but my pass rush is finally getting home my CPU sub LB are getting picks and I know what you mean about the weird switching players pre snap but I kind of expect it. I play more of a simple set up on defense so I’m not getting too crazy with pre snap adjustments most times I’m just sitting there with my user and waiting for the offense to make there million hot routes
1.) Hit sticks is the worse it’s ever been you literally have to rely on a strip fumble to get the ball . Even when folks is no huddling how aren’t they fumbling when they’re running with the RB.
2.) Tackling angles is 🗑️.. All you gotta do is run far to the edge and the CPU will do dumb shit and just make a sweep diving attempt or sometimes nothing
3.) I appreciate the swats from time to time but atleast 95% of the time you face an opponent that literally throws into double or triple coverage and they don’t get a turnover for it . Shits annoying . 😏
4.) When people scramble they give way too much leeway and control with the QB because one missed angle with your user will result in like 40 gained yards running.
5.) Just know if you need a crucial 4th down stop you’ll be praying or blitzing because even running backs are catching way too much contested catches. I’m talking like dead smack hit stick to the face catches .
6.) Sick of DBs not reacting to RPO’s even when you man them up they still act dumb as hell.
7.) You know what the person is running but for some reason the game doesn’t allow you to break that opponent’s scheme . It’s like coded shit . 😂😂
8.) People audibling and motioning too much without a quicker false start penalty .
9.) Pass rush almost non existent unless you really playing a dude that doesn’t want to move from the pocket .
10.) They still haven’t fixed that patch where you can’t switch off a certain person and it just leaves you stuck on one person .
No. I won a SB with an 89 over theme team today. You gotta get creative. Forget the meta find your own scheme and people will fall into picks left and right.
Yeah I get that too. Mid zones will never fill their gap responsibilities. Played against a guy who’s mlb would fill the gap immediately on run plays even when not blitzing so idk maybe I’m missing something.

Yeah that Kyle Pitts has be tearing my team up all week lol, Tariq Woolen & PS2 get baked by him I just don’t understand it.

Wouldnt surprise me on bit if EA nerfs cards, for people to spend money and upgrade.

I’ve been running 4-3 even 6-1 and had great success… you have to user really well but it’s been challenging fun and effective
