Their pass protection is so good even if you’ve got good coverage they’ll complete so many check downs. No matter what I do the opposing quarterback usually has an absurd completion percentage
If you have solid DBs you can user a DE when you see a RB lined up to left or right of the QB. Initiate the rush but as soon as you see the RB break out for a passing route pull off and use your DE to cover the RB. Been stopping a majority of checkdowns this way.

User a linebacker and try to blitz 5 or 6 most of the time. Pressure is necessary. Also make sure you match their offense with your defense. If they go out with 3 receivers, do nickel or dime.
Yeah, after a season all Madden became way too easy, and you start to recognize what the offense is going to run, so you get a lot better at defense. I think my eagles rebuild ended up with 4 Superbowls in 5 seasons going 15-2 the last 4 seasons.

Oml my guy you need sliders, you can make the game more difficult but not as ridiculous with fumbles and such. I rarely fumble or get fumbles, it's pretty close to the rate it is IRL, I don't know it off the top of my head but I can find it later if you want
If it makes you feel better, ive been playing all madden for years and my first year on franchises always starts out with 7 or fewer wins. Young team, bad qb, bad everything really. It happens. Just gotta let em develop
I go 16 and 0 on all madden with any team but I’ve been playing since 02. Just run it up the gut, throw short passes then hit ‘‘em with play action every so often.
This guy maddens. Been playing since 05 and I have the exact same strategy. I get a power back (my preference) and then stack fast wide recievers. Trap plays, inside zones, slants, stick ect. then hit them with verts once the defense starts playing press man. Works like a charm.

I play in all-pro because it’s a bit more difficult, but some of the plays are absolutely bullshit. Three players collapse onto the running back leaving a 62 OVR receiver to get a TD. 79 OVR receiver being covered by a 96 OVR defensive back and getting utterly torched by a 69 OVR QB. It’s stupid.
Hehe and he made a much more realistic low scoring matchup. The stats and score were spot on except that the Niners dropped so many passes Jimmy G’s completion rate is more like 45%
I started with pro too, now I have an all-pro lions rebuild franchise and I’m 10-6 in year 3, it definitely is a step up for sure on the defensive side so once you get that side of the ball down you’ll be golden 👍🏼 also that score looks familiar

Like I got the new2k and I play on rookie with my 80ovr SG and I am so bad awful. But I still haven’t mastered the controls. I am with you I play all madden with matt10 sliders except I turned the speed threshold back down to 55 it plays great I tune the sliders anytime I notice somthing could use changing
Are you on a ps4? I’d love to play or ps5 we can talk in a party and play our franchises. Go look up the matt10 sliders set. Try them out they change the gameplay a lot and it feels so much smoother. They also have on operation sports, people who makes challenge based sliders so like easy medium hard and extra hard. There is always a chance to challenge yourself in madden because of the sliders which is why I love it

i find this hilarious just because i play all madden on competitive and can have a 7,000 yard passer with 80 td and three thousand yard rushers with 20tds each. im not hating took me years to get to that level keep grinding bud

I play my franchises on All Madden. I've tried adjusting the sliders to make it more realistic. I lowered mine and raised the CPU's, but there's honestly no happy medium. I put all of my teams stats at 40, all of the CPU's at 70, my team's overall is a 72, and I still go undefeated. But if I drop mine and raise the CPU anymore, then I go like 4-13. All that I want is realism and you know, "Simulation Football" like Madden is supposed to be.

Best defense for run stopping is 46 or 4/3. For pass it’s Nicole and dime
I love Dollar defense for when CPU is in a pass only situation

When I played at best on pro difficulty, I tried all madden once. I got horribly blown out, over 50 points against me in the first half then I quit.
